Just like that, " cut your volume down" no please, no would you be so kind to lower the volume. I would recommend you go to another place more welcoming and suitable for children to be children and enjoy a 8 year olds birthday party. They were more about getting things done and over with then assuring the children where having fun. One of my guest said she felt like she was in boot camp. Not worth $378 for 2 hours at all!! It is a rustic, outdoorsy camp, no cell phones allowed here! Camp Mah-Kah-Wee is a Girl Scout camp. They offer programs throughout they year for girls and have overnight camps during the summer. I have been to Mah-Kah-Wee many times over the years with my daughters, and I really appreciate that we have a facility like this so close to home. The camp surrounds a lake so there are many water activities like canoeing and kayaking available during the summer. There is also a swimming pool. They offer all of the standard camp activities like archery and crafts and they also have an obstacle course. My kids love this place. During the summer the week-long camps are themed so you can find something to match your child's interests. As for the facilities, the best place to stay is in the cabins. They have air conditioning! In Florida you NEED air conditioning in the summer. I've also chaperoned overnights in the tents, which aren't so bad, and a building they call the Eco Center, which is a bit more like a enclosed porch... no AC there. Overall, it's a great place. I highly recommend it. The prices for overnight camp are very good and the kids have a great time.

The owner, Chrissie, is responsive, extremely helpful, and knows exactly what she's doing. For example, we had someone show up late that hadn't RSVP'd, and Chrissie seamlessly brought the child in, found her a place to sit, helped her pick her pottery and colors, and got her set up as if nothing was amiss. I was so happy with this experience. My daughter and her friends had a great time and there were no hiccups to be seen. I will definitely continue to come back for other events and activities. We skied, and the "lesson" focused more on how to use the simulator than how to ski more advanced. We are at the intermediate level (can parallel ski, control speed and turns, run moguls, etc.), and it seemed like the instructor may specialize in beginner instruction. It was a nice warm-up for our trip, and we each had a takeaway that made us feel like it wasn't a waste; however, I wouldn't spend that money again for the value received.

With Godard Oviedo what you see is what you get and they practice what they preach. Aside from the personal narratives of the people who recommended it I witnessed with my own eyes when we were on tour how caring the staff is of each and every child including the director Scott who picked up a kid who seemed visibly upset when we passed by him and comforted him as if it were his own child. The ladies at the front desk know each kid and parent and treat them with concern and affection. They are always kind and cheerful. Since my toddler began going there I have seen drastic improvement in areas of language, creativity, fine motor skills, and most importantly sleep. She no longer needs to be rocked to sleep. Best part is she also is starting to potty train thanks to her teachers. The love and care for our little ones is obvious and it extends to how well taken care of the facilities are. The location is fairly new and all of the spaces look it. Everything is cleaned and sanitized regularly. They even remain open during Covid and have maintained a standard of health. The one thing parents should know is that they do not serve lunch here but you can opt into a catered meal service. They also don't have a a microwave so the kids lunch has to be shelf or temp stable from early morning drop off until the afternoon. They do not have cameras in the classrooms for parents to log into but you do get pictures and sometimes videos throughout the day in an app and you get a daily report.
