My son attended daycare, VPK and Kindergarten at Serendipity. My daughter now attends daycare here and we absolutely love the staff. I travel a lot for work and my daughter goes to therapy twice a week (born at 23 weeks). They've been extremely understanding of my scheduling and are always willing to help, if they can. We LOVE serendipity! We moved to Florida end of December and I was so nervous sending my boys somewhere new. My boys are now 2 and 4 and they love it! They do such fun activities with the kids, serve healthy lunches, and also incorporate learning into their day. My 2 year old has been slow to talk but once he started coming here his speech has also started to improve! The app they use is also amazing for getting updates and pictures throughout the day! They somehow get the best pictures of my 2 year old haha. All of the teachers have been so great with my kids. Definitely recommend!! read more

I am the father of Lola S kids and her review is not accurate at all my kids loved going there and everyone there was very loving and kind to my kids. Everyone was nice and always answered all my questions and concern. They took really good care of my kids. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone, there's no emotional support from caregivers, very unsafe environment they do not provide any camera system and they also have a very bad lack of open communication. I will give them two thumbs down. read more

I would never recommend any childrento be in the care of these people. They have an opendoor policy because they took the cameras out of the facility. I had my oldest son check on his siblingsand as he observed one of the daycare workers was being very aggressive with my child and smacked my child and said that he was a bad kid, my son told the director she had an attitude. I'm trying to find a way to shut them down. I'm making a police report this happened recent. When they first started going, I noticed changes! also my babies came home with bruises. My kids were so uncomfortable... as of right now we are trying to get our money back for this week. We're having a problem with that now and also they are no longer answering the phone for me. They are rude and nasty. Do not put your children in their care. read more

I wouldn't recommend this daycare to anyone. Unfortunately the staff is very aggressive and doesn't handle the children properly I went to go pick up my child and I had witnessed a staff member being aggressive with one of the students which i do NOT condone. It is inappropriate NO MATTER the circumstances. read more

We've been coming to serendipity since shortly after they opened up - 5 years and counting. Picking a place to send the most important things to you is challenging - but I would recommend SLC. I truly believe the teachers here love my children & have their safety & wellbeing at heart. Although the previously mentioned is the most important to me, I also think they do a great job educating (from baby sign language, through colors and ABCs, to math, Spanish, ASL, and so on). They get outside often on a variety of playgrounds, have healthy meals, do plenty of art, and don't do screen time (or if so, rarely) which I believe is hard to come by now. The updates & photos on the app are great for peace of mind & to get through a work day! At the end of the day the teachers' love for the kids is my biggest highlight & why I'd recommend this daycare. read more

Would not recommend for the care of children. While they started off well enough in recent years there has been a major decline in the quality of teachers, communication etc. I was told by the owner that children must nap as that is the teachers only break time... does that mean they aren't following Florida standards for breaks for employees? Unwilling to hire enough staff to appropriately cover classrooms. I watched multiple videos of children basically rioting in the classroom with the teacher unable or unwilling to stop it. The owner told me to "get my kid tested" when they kicked him out, despite the fact that in 4/5 videos that were sent to me of him being "aggressive" he was the victim of an attack from another child. He has since been evaluated and he's advanced with no signs of aggression. He has since had no incidents with other children anywhere. Serendipity made my child out to be bad to the point where he was calling himself "stupid" and a "bad kid" despite the issue quite clearly being staffing and a teacher that was not a good fit. Since the owner seems to be stuck on repeat mentioning that one of my kids broke a window - it was a separate child than the one she kicked out and told us to get tested. She said THAT child was well-adjusted and could stay. We also offered to pay for the window. read more

We loved going to Serendipity. We felt like we were part of the family whether we were full-time or just intermittent Holiday campers once my son started elementary school. But we always looked forward to coming back to Serendipity until we moved out of town. This is a high quality experience, education, facility, and dining for a reasonable price with down to earth loving people. read more

My daughter has been enrolled going on 3 years now. This is education based care, and it shows! This was really important to me when choosing a place, and I know we made the right choice, because my daughter loves to read, write, and count. She's always singing new songs she learned at school. I have boxes of all the art projects she's worked on over the past few years. They have also been super accommodating with our ever changing schedules. The "classes" are relatively small, and she's been going with many of the same students for years now, which is a good feeling. It's a great environment for your little one! read more

This is a really great center. Child to staff ratios are kept well within the state required limits, clean and plenty of learning materials for the children. Its also a great place to work. Caring, helpful and friendly staff someone is always willing and able to help if its needed. You all are a great bunch of people. Keep up the great work. read more
