I changed my phone number which I understand caused a miscommunication but when I didn't reply to confirm the service, I should've received an email requesting to do the service. This was insanely unprofessional and scared me and my dogs as we did didn't know somebody was going to be entering the backyard. This person didn't even knock on our front door to ask if it was OK to start the service. Also, you say that you texted me and then I responded but I never responded. I couldn't have possibly responded as that's not my number anymore. Unless somebody else responded on that new number that's all I could think of, but I literally don't have access to that phone number anymore, so it could not have been me that responded. I had responded to you previously but ever since our initial first text after the first day that you cleaned my house I never responded after that because I got a new number after that.

I have used them for almost 3 years now and without exception, they are always on time, friendly, professional and the dogs love them! While you might not think this service is a necessity - think again. If you work in or out of the home, if you have kids, if you mow your own lawn, you should be using Doddy Deeds. The last thing we all want to do is come home from work and start scanning the lawn for doggy "landmines" or find the one hidden landmine as you are happily mowing the lawn on Saturday. Doddy Deeds will come into your backyard and make it all disappear. They are also very helpful in that if they see a change in your pets "deposit", they try to keep you informed which can in some cases be the difference between a quick short visit to the vet and an expensive bigger problem down the road. Doody Deeds is wonderful! Even in these economic times, movies, dinners out, designer haircuts all went, but Doody Deeds stayed.

My husband Steve and I have been clients of Monterey Pet Care since January 2012. It is an…read moreexcellent company with quality staff - reliable, trustworthy, and accommodating. Initially, we arranged for daily walks for our two labrador retrievers when I was working full-time and my husband was recovering from hip surgery. But due to our busy lives and the excellent experience we had in the beginning, we have continued with a regular daily walk for our dogs since then. We trust them, and they really ease our load! We are concerned "parents". We center our lives around the dogs, because not only are they wonderful and loving family dogs, they are active, energetic dogs who need a lot of exercise. And because we have had dogs of all ages since January 2012 - young adult dogs, elderly dogs, and puppies - one dog with knee problems, and even one who had chemotherapy, we can attest that the walkers are good with all ages and conditions. We feel fortunate to have found Monterey Pet Care with its very dependable, friendly, and professional walkers. They arrive on time and treat our dogs and everyone they meet with respect. If owners have preferences, they will do their best to follow them - for us, this means they lock the doors when they leave even if we are home. Sincerely, Jeanie K.

My dogs…read morewould often come home acting strangely after staying there, but I never had any concrete reason to believe something was wrong, so I continued using them. One thing that always bothered me was the complete lack of cameras. For a premium-priced boarding facility, I believe pet parents should be able to check in on their dogs throughout their stay. Being able to actually see how your dogs are doing shouldn't feel like a luxury when you're paying a premium for their care. Then something happened that completely changed my perspective. I was out walking my dogs, Ollie and Evie, when a woman unexpectedly called out, "Hi Ollie! Hi Evie!" I stopped and asked how she knew them. She told me she had previously worked at Dawg Gone It. Naturally, I started asking her about her experience there and whether the dogs were well cared for. Her response genuinely shocked me. She told me, in no uncertain terms, "Never take your dogs there." I was honestly stunned. I can't speak firsthand to everything that may or may not happen inside the facility, and I'm not going to make accusations I can't personally substantiate. But hearing that from someone who had actually worked there, combined with my dogs' behavior after previous stays and the lack of transparency from not having cameras, was enough for me. I will never board my dogs there again. More than anything, I'm disappointed in myself for not questioning things sooner. Ollie and Evie are my babies, and knowing what I know now, I wish I had made a different choice for them years ago. If you're considering boarding your dogs here, I would strongly encourage you to do your own research and ask a lot of questions before leaving your pets there.
