The donuts here are very, very good! There is no greasy after taste and they are light and fresh tasting! The woman behind the counter was friendly. I stopped in with my granddaughter after a pediatrician visit and she was hungry so we stopped for a donut. I also bought some sprinkle donut holes to enjoy later. The woman even gave my granddaughter a plastic ring that looked like the donut she choose! She was a happy camper. Next time I'm in the area I would definitely stop in here again. read more

I have no clue where people are getting that the owner is rude. He is a veteran who helps our community every day and I have never had anything but great experiences with Rubin! Now to the donuts, they are delicious and all so adorably hand decorated. They have birthday donuts that make a birthday start off right! I am so dissappointed. I rarely stop for donuts but have a moving crew coming to my house so needed a dozen or two. I could tell they were running low so when it was my turn to be served I asked if this was all they had thinking maybe a batch was coming out soon and I'd wait. After picking out their last 8 picked over donuts- they rang me up and then promptly brought out 2 fresh trays . There were people in line so I didn't go back through to change my order but this was obviously done on purpose. I don't like being mislead. read more

Best apple fritter I've ever had. We're from out of town and made an impromptu stop at Donuts Plus while on the way to a weekend competition at Prosper HS. Customer service was excellent. I'm sorry that I didn't get the name of the HS student who served us, but she was helpful, kind, conversational, very genuine in her manner. My daughter picked out some doughnuts and I was just going for the kolaches - which were delicious! But then I saw the apple fritters and they looked so good so I decided to give one a try. Oh my goodness. I ate doughnuts when I was younger but anymore they're too sweet for me so haven't really had any for a while. This apple fritter was nicely crisp on the outside, super soft inside, yeasty, appley, cinnamony, and just a touch sweet. Best apple fritter ever. Yum! Rudest owner ever continues to run our local donut shop. With limited options in our little town, we've stopped in a few times over the years to grab donuts for the kids. I've made mental note each time that the owner seems a little gruff but always excused his behavior because I don't know what he may be dealing with. However, my wife stopped in last week to see if he might support a Prosper ISD elementary school book fair by offering up a free donut or cup of coffee for the faculty raffle. There wasn't another person in the store but he couldn't have cared less about giving back to the community that supports his business. In fact, he said "Lady, I don't do that." Horrified, my wife left immediately. Pretty sad for a place I know we've all frequented too often. read more

I love this donut shop! They have the best sausage rolls ever! They are constantly updating the different flavors and toppings they offer and they can do fun custom donut shapes if you place an order in advance. Their birthday letter donuts were a hit at a birthday party. The owners are so friendly and will remember your order if you are a regular. They use real vanilla beans in their glaze which is so much better than Krispy Kreme's which is way too sweet. Highly recommend! read more

I've never seen a business owner be so rude! I went to this establishment over a year ago. He was the only guy working that day and it was just me and him in the store. He had zero interest in being there or wanting to get me donuts. He was very snappy, rude and talked to me like I was a 10 yr old. Well I refused to go back until today. I decided to give him another try. Well let's just say that was a huge mistake and this will be my last time for sure. Today a lady was helping me and was very nice. She was getting me my donuts and went to ring me up. Well the owner proceeded to ring me up while she was getting my donuts and his employee didn't notice. She went to the register to ring me up after she gave me my donuts and he snapped at her like nobody's business, because he already entered the donuts into the register. I felt so sorry for her. She was just doing her job. Nobody deserves to be treated that way. read more
