Saturday morning & I know they had customers that walked in after us. But the lady at the counter told my 8 year old nephew he needed to hurry up & decide because she had other customers . It was his 1st time there & he was a little overwhelmed. I guess I should have let someone go ahead of us but she had already taken my order & I can't imagine anyone wanting to push on through when you can look at all the beautiful donuts anyway! Great spot fir fresh not previously frozen donuts. They opened at 5am on Thanksgiving. Picked up a couple dozen in just a few minutes. Couldn't recommend more. read more

Very very friendly staff. Their donuts are fresh, good old corner donut shop doughnuts. If you can, try to be here in the morning (of course you can try more different kinds.. be here before regulars ;)). Almost all Gas stations in qca serve their donuts (except a one major chain). But remember there are some you can only get at the actual shop. Again --- they'll fill any donuts with the filling(s) even with a hole :)! Bacon bits can be a topping :)! read more

Today was my first visit here, and it definitely will not be my last. The nice woman behind the counter was so patient with me, and had that midwestern kindness you hear about but often don't see. Moving onto the donuts, the only word I have to say is "WOW!" Don't skip the chocolate old fashioned! Moist and crispy, without being sickly sweet. The coffee was also good, the first good cup of coffee, not from a coffee shop, that I've had in the entire quad cities. I'll be back, and then they can take all my money! read more

I have been all over the country and I am a fan of all things sweet. I have never had something this good from any bakery anywhere. Stopped by Saturday at 10am. Plenty of variety. Specialty items were delicious. Glazed sourdough "old fashioned" are spot-on. Very friendly service and good humor. They didn't seem to know what Yelp was. According to the staff they supply to lots of places around town each day two trucks of doughnuts. Without advertising. Sounds right to me because these doughnuts speak for themselves! Donuts and donut holes and bear claws. Butter milk bars are their specialty, they are like Little Debbie Dunkin Sticks. Very good. Stopped here twice now on my way through town for work. Good donuts, good price. The service was what earned the five stars. I had a tall order to fill from my 3yr old. Strawberry donut with sprinkles. Not a common donut. They did not have any as I expected. The nice lady behind the counter took one of their strawberry iced donuts and went in back and added the sprinkles that were needed. What makes this better is I did not have to ask if they could do this. The offered it... Will be back when I want to buy donuts for my clients. read more
