I called around a couple places who were either closed for the holiday or were too busy to look at my car. I called Adlers and told them about my situation and they were immediately empathetic and found time to see me, even though they were already swamped with other vehicles. They fixed my car the same day, the cost was half of what they quoted, and they honestly treated me like a long term customer even though I'd had no established relationship. I wish I could use them as my primary mechanic and encourage anyone who's looking for some car help to give BJ at Adlers your patronage.

Had my 2014 Jeep Patriot towed here after the starter died on me. Was initially quoted ~$860 for a…read morenew starter ($660 for an aftermarket refurbished) as Clausen claimed it was necessary to lift the manifold to reach it. However, I'd already done some research on the procedure and was suspicious. I called seven other mechanics and watched videos on how to change the starter in my vehicle, none of which indicated lifting the manifold was necessary, all of whom quoted it'd be ~$400-$500 for a new starter. I called Clausen back stating my belief that lifting the manifold was unnecessary and to please verify and, if so, if they were willing to price match the other quotes. Instead, Amber at the front desk was adamant she "trusted her tech" and doubled down that if I wanted a new starter it would be $860. So I towed my Jeep just down the road to Reece auto. They completed the job without needing to lift the manifold and charged me $390, less then half what Clausen quoted. Long story short: whether incompetent or crooked, Clausen tried to charge me $500 to perform unnecessary work. Amber may trust their tech, but you sure as heck shouldn't. AVOID.

This is a review posted for my brother's experience here. He doesn't do Yelp, but I wanted to make…read moresure this Goodyear location got their shoutout! They're very honest and upstanding, which is apparently hard to come by when it comes to servicing cars! The Zimbrick Honda dealership's service center (the one on Grand Canyon Drive) in town told my brother that his car was leaking transmission fluid from the axle seals. They also mentioned that his air intake hose was about to tear, and it needed to be replaced immediately. Both of these were strange findings as his car is not that old and has relatively low mileage. So, he took the car to Goodyear to get another quote and a second look. The dealership quoted him for $840 for the transmission fluid issues, while the folks at Goodyear quoted him for literally HALF THE COST of the dealer. However, they also said they couldn't find a leak. Apparently, his car's seals were totally fine. As for the air intake hose, Goodyear found that it's only slightly worn from weather and time, but it looks fine. The mechanic at Goodyear said they wouldn't recommend my brother to go out of his way to replace it until a light comes on for it on the dashboard of the car. Wow, the dealership completely tried to rip him off! BONUS: They're so honest and standup at this Goodyear that they went one step further to say that they weren't comfortable charging him with anything because no services needed to be done. They didn't even charge my brother for the part they ordered because they will just send it back for him at no cost. How amazing are they, right?! This is how you build a loyal customer base. This is how you get customers to come back time and time again. All it takes is honesty and offering fair prices for good service. Highly recommend this Goodyear location to save money and not risk being ripped off! You'll be treated right here! (Also, do NOT go to Zimbrick for servicing, obviously)

Like others on the Google Reviews claim, the "minimum paid" on the website is definitely not true…read more I was quoted $150 for a 2000 Taurus that was non-running. Whatever, needed it out of my parking lot. Tow truck shows up the next day at the scheduled time and the driver offers me $100. When I pushed back, he just sort of shrugged at me and didn't budge on the $100 price. Ultimately, I was on a tight timeframe so I took the $100. The staff are easy to work with and they are quick but between the low initial quote and then the subsequent lowball, I will never do business with them again. There are MUCH better options in Madison. It must be true because there couldn't be a worse one.
