This very kind, sweet young associate was helping them, she wasn't very sure of what they were asking. She kindly asks a what I will assume manager to come to help her. This manager was extremely rude to these customers It felt like she was dumbing them down, The gentleman she was helping was very kind and not mean she dismisses them and starts complaining about them as they leave the building, the employee checking me out was very kind. I hope to see her again whenever I come in. Didn't catch her name. she has blonde and brunette hair. very kind soul! The big deal with these guys is they also carry some of the big stuff like a small selection lumber, dry wall corner strips, landscaping stuff, irrigation poly hoses, etc. You get the drift. Their rental dept is top notch, fairly reasonable and the guys who run it full of helpful tips. Free popcorn too. While there are a half dozen hardware stores in the area these guys are the only ones who do it right. One star off because they are smaller with a smaller selection, but they have 80% of what you need. Now if you can only remember everything you need and avoid the dreaded "3 trip to the hardware store Saturdays."

Went to the store to have my chain for my Ryobi chain saw sharpened. They said it would be ready…read morein several days. They called me when it was ready. I paid for the sharpening as I have picked my chain up from the store. Several months ago, I had thought the chain was already sharpened when I had paid for the sharpening. Today, I have a tree limb that had fallen and discovered by surprise that the chain saw blade was never sharpened. It took me 25 minutes just to get thru a 5" diameter log. The saw is still very dull. It is probably too late for a refund because I should have tested it the day I have picked it up at the Florence Ace Hardware Store in Kentucky. Very bad service. The employees at this store had lied by saying that it was sharpened when they did not do a tiny bit of work sharpening my saw. This is consumer fraud. I am not ever going back to this store again.
