If you're into golfing, you can do that just about year-round here, since it stays warm through the winter. You may want to avoid the hottest months of the year-golfing in August can be brutal. Mesquite has a small town feel to it-talk to the locals and you'll find yourself quickly amongst the gossip of who's who and who's doing what. I get the feeling that those who have lived here a long time would prefer that things stop growing-just like most small town lifers. But by the looks of things, I don't see it slowing down any time soon.
