Went in…read morethe dead of winter, their off season, so to say it wasn't busy would be an understatement!!! Small 8 oz hot coffee with a flavoring was $4.82, definitely not worth the cost! The taste was ok, but hard to get past the price!!! Go to the gas station down the block and get the same quality of coffee for half the price!!!

Prices were very reasonable and the menu selection was varied, but the focus was traditionally American fare, steaks, burgers, chicken and the like. If beer is something you like, they have a huge beer menu. The wine list was also very long. All three of us got burgers and asked for the medium. Two were perfect, but mine was more of a medium, rare side, however, I eat it is cooked, and it was delicious. My wife had ordered a pickle for hers, but none came with the meal, and she didn't feel like asking for one after the fact. Overall, the food is very good, and the prices were less than what one would expect to pay at a restaurant in a resort town. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the weight staff. They were very friendly and seated as quickly, but allowed us time to relax and enjoy a nice summer evening on the deck. The amount of time for the meal was on the longer side, but we were totally OK with that, and if we had wanted to leave sooner, I'm sure we could've let the waitress know, and I request would've been accommodated.

We arrived shortly before 9am and had no wait for table. Although there were only half a dozen other tables of diners service was a slow crawl. It was a lovely view so I just drank in the ambiance of the Bay and watched the tour boats docking and departing. Ham and cheese omelettes light and fluffy with more than enough toast with a wide selection of jellies. Home fries on the side were a little bland but easily rectified with salt and pepper. The orange juice was served un chilled in a 6 oz glass for $4. It was more than enough food for two with leftovers to go. $41 though with no coffee or refills on the OJ. Nice experience but will probably do breakfast at diners in town next visit.

They bring you a little loaf of bread and butter, as well as a red sauce. The bread was hot and delicious! My husband had New England clam chowder and enjoyed it. For the main meal, I had a burger, which is my favorite food to eat everywhere. It was cooked perfectly. I had considered the chicken parm that came with fettuccini Alfredo. I asked if it came with a side salad. No it did not, but I could order a side salad if I wanted to. So for $10 less, I got my trusty go-to order, the burger, which had fries as a side and felt like a more complete meal. My husband got the steak which had lots of fat. They don't have a dessert menu but our waitress told us the options. We got the strawberry cheesecake for dessert. It had white chocolate drizzle which we did not enjoy and would have asked to be left off, if we had known. Our waitress was very attentive. Some spaces were dated (the bathroom) , others had been updated. My husband gave it a 6/10 but the view will make it a 7/10.

After we were seated, our server appeared, although she was friendly, she wasn't to available to us, and then the food arrived .(took a long time to get to us) I ordered the Mediterranean Cod, and it was flavorless .The best thing on my dish was the baked beans, and I think they came out off a can. The vegetables on my plate appeared to be frozen, not fresh, they surely didn't taste fresh. We also had a lobster roll. It was definitely like something I've never seen before, small, unrecognizable pieces that looked dry and overcooked, I was told that it tasted as it looked. We also had a power bowl with grilled chicken. The avocado in it was not only hard but also turning black. We have never been served anything like that at any other place we have eaten at. Our waitress wasn't too helpful when I told her and showed her our problems with the food. Too bad, the place looked nice.

Finding the entrance was like a game of hide-and-seek gone wrong. There's no signage, zero lighting, and walking back at night from the main street feels more like the opening scene of a horror movie than a relaxing vacation. It's eerie, deserted, and downright creepy. The restaurant? Only serves dinner--no breakfast, no lunch. Good luck figuring out when it opens, though. When I asked the teenage staff at Pointe Grill, they stared at me blankly before going back to fishing and smoking off the dock directly in front of the entrance. It was like interrupting their hangout spot, not asking a simple question as a paying guest. The property itself is in serious decline. Dirty, dank, and reeking of cigarettes and mildew. The smell hits you immediately, as do the scattered cigarette butts littering the grounds. It's clear that upkeep is not a priority. To their credit, the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming--but that level of service unfortunately doesn't extend to the rest of the establishment. The rooms with a view of Boldt Castle might sound romantic, but step inside and it's like walking into a forgotten relic of the 1970s. The decor is outdated to the point of being uncomfortable: mirrored walls, an aging jacuzzi, and cheap, bubbling vinyl flooring that looks like it was installed by someone's cousin over a weekend. The door to our room didn't even seal properly--it looked like it had been kicked in at least once, maybe more. The balcony was filthy, crawling with bugs, covered in vines, and in desperate need of a power wash. The railing was rickety and rusted--definitely not somewhere you'd want to linger with a drink in hand. As for amenities, the hot water took a full ten minutes to arrive, which felt symbolic of the overall experience: slow, neglected, and not worth the wait. For the price per night, this place is a complete letdown. It feels more like a rundown roadside motel than the getaway it pretends to be. Skip it. There are far better options in the area that actually care about their guests--and their property.

We're all taken by just strangers nobody that belong to the hotel so me and my husband had to walk a half a mile with our bags in tow unprofessional

First of all, this is 2025 and LOTS of people have food allergies so get with the times....or maybe you don't understand. When I asked for a milk alternative, I was offered 2% milk.....seriously????? I ordered oatmeal and home fries. The oatmeal.... I wasn't quite sure what she wanted me to do with it - use it as spackle or hang wallpaper with it. Completely inedible....it must have been sitting in the pan since Friday and it was just like cement. And the home fries.....loaded with grease and totally disgusting. They were sitting in a puddle of grease. The experience in your establishment landed me in the bathroom for most of the afternoon. Oh, and don't let me forget the filthy bathroom! I felt like I needed a shower after using it. The health inspector needs to pay you a visit. I may make that call. Thank you for the experience and never again! Like I said...STAY AWAY!!!!!!
