I was told that it would be no problem for them and that I would receive an estimate by email. Well, August 9th came and went, no estimate. I asked for status via email to their office. I followed up on August 13th with a phone call to their office number. I was told that the estimate would be resent. Well, I never received it and never got any follow-up call. I had visits from two other tree companies and received the quotes in real-time or by the next day. Guess who didn't get hired for the job? Very poor communications and not a contractor that I'd want to hire for this type of work regardless of having "Experts" in their company name. I hired Elliott Tree of Whitman, MA who did a fantastic job at a reasonable price, and with a professional crew.

We live on beautifully wooded property and hate the idea of cutting any trees down but this one was in tough shape. If it had fallen, it would have landed on the house. Neighbors had recommended Glynn Tree Experts so we hired them and they did a terrific job. This tree was not only huge but was surrounded by many other trees so it was hard to maneuver around. Glynn came to the rescue and we were very pleased with the service they provided. The tree was cut down with no damage to surrounding trees. Fast forward to last year: we had been buying cord wood from another local company each fall for a long time, but a couple of years ago we were unhappy, as long-time customers, with what we were surprised to find was some suddenly dismissive and poor service. We decided that we would end our relationship with this company and purchase wood elsewhere. The best way to deal with bad service is to take your consumer dollars some place else. We remembered the great service we'd had with Glynn all those years ago so we called them up for a two cord order in 2014. They were prompt, courteous and with fair prices. The wood was seasoned well and we had a choice of two lengths. This year we ordered another two cords and are similarly pleased with the wood, the service and the quality. Since the wood gets dumped out of the back of a big truck into a huge pile you have to hope/assume you're getting the correct amount of wood. A cord is 8'x8'x4' and once stacked we were certainly convinced we did just fine by Glynn. (And I will add that stacking wood is truly one of my favorite activities and it's good exercise.) I do recommend Glynn whether you have a tree issue that needs to be addressed or whether you're looking for cord wood.

The landscaping project did not go as well as the first project (initially overbilled 50 hours, charged for services not performed, charged for goods not provided, shrubs/trees ordered were substituted with other shrubs/trees without owner knowledge or approval, damaged grass not repaired, lack of onsite project management, phone calls and emails not returned, etc.). If I had not been on site when the work was being done, I would never have realized that I was being over billed for hours not worked and goods and services not provided. Henley agreed to reduce its original invoice by 17% to reflect actual hours worked and goods and services provided. I spent an extraordinary amount of time dealing with Henley to ensure the project was completed as originally agreed and the final adjusted invoice was accurate. Additionally, Henley had committed and recommitted several times to replace a Juniper tree that was distressed/dead in some areas when originally planted....never returned to property to make good on its commitments.

When i tried to get them back here to actually kill the weeds, they refused to come back because they said they underpriced my yard and that they would lose money coming back and doing another application. We have had Chuck's…read morecompany install irrigation on a 1 acre lot and at the same time create a landscape for the front yard which included a huge field stone rock wall; a year later, they returned to install a rather large brick patio which incorporated large slabs of granite, laid granite curbing, and created beds where they planted three trees around the newly laid patio. First and foremost, Chuck and his crew are always polite, respectful and patient with their clients needs and desires. They listen and offer great advice when it's needed. Chuck came to us with an amazing design for our front yard, but when we realized we didn't have quite enough money to do the entire job, he reworked the whole plan to accommodate our wishes and our budget. Second, they keep the work site neat, orderly, and clean as expected--even with all the dirt, gravel, brick dust, they did their best to keep it away and off the house. Big plus, they don't leave a single piece of trash behind. Anyone who has built a house knows builders tend to leave bits of trash everywhere. Not Nessralla's! Third, their work is impeccable! They laid thousands (!) of Boston City Hall pavers on our patio. At one point, I saw them pick up and reposition a huge section because the "line wasn't quite right." They even came back and popped some of the granite sections to realign them because Chuck didn't want anyone to stub a toe! The landscaping material they brought us was above expectations. Our trees and shrubs are over a year old and they are in excellent health. Even several weeks after Chuck finished the 1st job last August, we caught him "checking" on the plants and grass periodically. Next year we plant to expand our landscape and the only crew we will have in our yard is Nessralla. Chuck and his crew ALWAYS go above and beyond.

I had several other companies come out to the house to offer a price quote and get some ideas but decided to go with Nessralla's. Chuck Nessralla, the owner, pointed out several ways I could cut back on the original company's price quote while still accomplishing what I wanted to have done. In the end, the price he gave me was significantly cheaper and even included a walkway and patio that was not in the other company's quote. I was a little nervous that the decrease in price would mean a decrease in quality, but nothing could be worse than what I had already gone through. To say my apprehension was unwarranted would be a huge understatement. Nessralla's installed a new lawn, an irrigation system, a patio, a walkway, and a beautiful planting all in under two weeks. The attention to detail was amazing, I am happy to say that I now have the best looking yard on the street. What really impressed me about this company was the fact that Chuck was there every step of the way. He personally graded the property, set up the foundation for the patio and walkway, designed the planting, and could be found on the job every day his workers were there. I paid to have my parent's house landscaped several years ago and cannot remember seeing the owner on site ounce after our initial meeting. One month later and the lawn looks like a carpet, all of my plants are healthy but are even covered under a warranty in case one of them does not make it. I could not recommend Nessralla's Landscape enough. If I ever decide to move again they will be the only company I call.
