The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.

The main guy was not kind or helpful and I would not chose to host here again because of him. Besides the tables for guests to sit on which were very dirty and not cleaned of previous food scraps, we only were provided a few tables to put our own food and items on. Considering it's a party rental space I would've expected there to be significantly more tables that we could use for our event. In addition, it was a hot summer day and they only provided us with a few umbrellas after we moved our event to the outdoor space to accommodate common space, leaving our guests hot and uncomfortable. He wasn't kind when we asked for additional tables/umbrellas and he also was extremely rude to me during the party which really bothered me. A couple of friends had given me wine bottles as gifts-a very normal gift to give. And they were clearly gifts and on the gift table, not intended to be drank or used. He aggressively came up to me and told me they can't be there, to which I explained I did not bring them and they are gifts and will be taken home with me and have no intention of opening. He proceeded to continuously tell me to remove them from the property even though I stated multiple times they were gifts and not to be drank. He was rude, unprofessional, and should have not chose to share this with me as I was in the middle of socializing with my guests and by no means wanted to "deal" with the few wine bottle gifts that weren't causing any issues. Overall, the brewery is cool and everybody else was great. But I would not choose to work with them again because of the lead man and encourage him to approach future events with a kinder heart and better professionalism as I imagine manyyy people will receive wine as gifts in the future and it is not right to harass them during their event if so.

Donna's is probably one of the best bars in the South Bay. I hate to use this phrase because it's so overused in reviews, but this place really is a "hidden gem". It's a bit non-descript on the outside and even a bit intimidating. But once inside, it's a very nice bar with some cool decor. It has a divey, Tiki vibe going on, but I dig it. The have 1 pool table and 4 electronic dart boards. They also have a kitchen window near the back that you can order food from. Specifically, Filipino food. (Awesome!) The patronage seems to be diverse and very mellow. People of various ages & ethnicity but it felt the majority were Asian. The bartenders are very cool, very approachable and friendly. Bathrooms are surprisingly nice & clean. We brought a group here for my wife's birthday and had a great time. I think there's a small amount of parking in the back but we just ended up parking outside on the street. As other Yelpers have already stated, bring cash for the kitchen. This is definitely my favorite dive bar! Can't wait to go back. read more

3rd Bar of the night. We ended up staying here longer than the other bars we went to. I'm not a regular here but I come here a few times a year. It's as divey as it gets but much cleaner. There's a pool table, darts, TVs for sports and a great selection of drinks at a low price! Whether you're alone, with a group of friends, or on a date, this place is a great fit. You can chill at the bar and talk to the bartenders. There are couches in the back to kick back and drink the night away. But as I said before, I like the positive vibes everyone has here. Why these ppl gave me dry lemon pepper seasoning for already fried chicken. Smh Don't come ASAP. I sent my food back, and asked them to actually season the food. They literally dumped all that seasoning they gave me on the side o to my plate. RUDE.

This is a place where men can come to make small social talk, unwind and be entertained by the bar ladies who will make jokes, tell funny stories, up men's egos to create a welcoming environment. All the male guest must do is to buy the ladies a drink which for our group of 4 ran to $16 or $4/person. Maybe the ladies took pity on us since we didn't look like HUGE BALLERS. Women are welcome, but most will find it boring since this kind of business does not specifically meet the needs of heterosexual women. Ladies who come with their boyfriends or husbands may feel that the bar hostesses are trying to steal their man although that is probably not the case since it is the function of the hostesses to please their male customers. We sat & drank around the bar where the hostesses seem to hover around the most. I noticed that the guests on sofas away from the bar are left more alone to congregate with their own group. So if you want to party in with your own posse, this may be a better space. Seating at the bar is $10 cover while the sofas are $20 per person. There is Karaokè (kah rah oh keh) with Japanese and English language songs. We sang a few to while away our stay when we took a break from talking with the hotesses who circulate from time to time to different guests. Bar 104 may be of more interest to people who enjoy Japanese language, culture, "traditional hostess bar environment", or are at least open to international, cultural influences. If you can't suspend American mores, political correctness, my way or the highway approach, 104 may not be for you since 104 seems to be an enclave that follows the beat of a different drummer. I found 104 to be a fun night out with the boys. The hostesses were cordial, fun, tastefully catering to our needs at the same time exacting a reasonable fee. Shōchū/Japanese low octane "vodka", Sakè (sah keh), Beer, Wine available. Fair trade, fair exchange. 4 Yelp stars.
