Dr Kwong and the staff are wonderful. Very personable and explains everything in an away that I can understand.

Horrible experience. She is very rude and impatient to answer my questions. Never visit this office again

The phones say "office is closed" during work hours for the last 6 months. I've seen her backup doc…read moreas much as I seen her because of multi extended trips to Egypt. She pretends to listen, but she doesn't. The staff has scheduled 3 appointments wrong. You have to use the internet to get a nsg to her and it takes 3 days for a response. She needs to retire since she must be around 80 years old having graduated med school in 1964 in Egypt.

This is by far the worst doctor office I've ever had any experience with. The front office staff…read moreare some of the rudest women I've ever spoken to on the phone. Usually when you were calling your doctor, you need assistance in some way, and the lack of empathy and compassion that they have is absolutely mind blowing. On top of that doctor only works one or two days a week at BEST. She has been in Egypt for more than a month and won't be back until the end of November and has no back up staff. Not one nurse or doctor that can assist in her extremely long absence. My husband and I got terribly ill, and when we called to find out what our options were, the office staff was not only totally uninformative and unhelpful, but completely rude. I am new to Blue Shield and John Muir and so I was trying to figure out what my options were if my doctor is gone for four months what do I do when I am sick if I live 45 minutes away from my emergency room. She had no solution other than to drive myself to the ER. my sister was with John Muir and told me I could book an urgent care appointment over the phone and do a video call. I don't know why the god-awful woman that answers the phone couldn't give me that option. Maybe she is so uninformed that she didn't know but that's unacceptable. I have never switched doctors so quickly. If you want any sort of care, avoid this office at all costs. You also won't be able to get any prescriptions filled because the doctor is never in so so if you run out of some thing, you better plan at least two weeks in advance so they can get a hold of her wherever she is traveling at that time. Absolutely most horrible experience with any doctor in my life and I was with Kaiser for 42 years that says a lot. My combined bad experiences at Kaiser could not even come close to the experience I had with this office.
