I chanced upon this restaurant as I was walking towards Government St. looking for a good place to have lunch as I work in the area. I was craving for something different than the burgers and pizza's I usually have. It looks like the place is new and recently opened. It's very spacious and tables are spaced really far apart. I was looking at the menu and the lady, am not sure if she was the owner, told me they only have doner at that time. I was not sure what that was but certainly looks good on the menu. They said it can be on a pita bread or sandwhich, chicken or beef. I had the beef sandwich doner. It was great! Portion is huge! Doner is a Turkish dish made with seasoned meat cooked vertically. The marinade was good and rich and brought out the flavour of the beef. It was hot off the rotisserie and fresh. The girl asked what I wanted to put in my sandwich, I said everything, all the veggies and hot sauce. It came with fries with tomato and garlic sauce. Another first for me and it went well. I will do that from now on. The combination worked! Instead of just the usual ketchup, it's something new for me. This place has plenty of potential. I definitely recommend it and I will be back to try other things. I posted pics to give you an idea of the size of the portion. read more
