I was really surprised to find this small snitzel house 300ft from China Town but I'm told the area is becoming more of an international district. It's not very big so may fill up fast. The server was very polite and welcoming. I got the 3 course meal and was not disappointed. I could not decide between traditional and Jagersnitzel so he recommend the gravy on the side and that was a great choice. I took apple dessert with me for later and it was also very good. Someday when I came back to Victoria I will plan to return for sure!

Wow!! We stumbled upon this restaurant in Chinatown and it did not disappoint! The vibe was great, the food incredible (the best sauerkraut I've had in my life), get the schnitzel you gotta try this delicious dish! Oh and service is the chefs kiss on top!! They were attentive and gave great recommendations to the menu and spots while visiting the area. Would recommend this to anyone, it's a must!!

We had a wonderful evening at Eva with the entire family. We sat outside on the patio with two young kids, it was spacious and they had room to play on the benches. Our server Cole was super friendly and attentive. He helped us with all our decisions. The wine selection was great, and they even had one of our favourites from Else Winery. The Schnitzel was delicious (and enormous) as is to be expected since it's their signature. What really surprised us was all the small bites and plates. Our favourites were the chicken liver mousse, Tartar, and the pretzels/pickles were a hit with the kids. Overall a great experience and an opportunity to try delicious German food in a great setting. We'll definitely be back, maybe to try brunch, since it's a family friendly spot that hits all the right notes.

Friendly staff. Nice background music and well lit. The schnitzel was great paired with the sauerkraut and the Waldorf Salad was refreshingly fresh.

THIS!.. This is what a real schnitzel is (jaegerschnitzel in this case). The best schnitzelhaus in North America. Full stop.

Delicious breakfast spot! Eva is tucked away from the main path and is a real find! They specialize in German fare, including schnitzel, spatzle, Benedict, Dutch baby pancakes, and more. The Caesar (Bloody Mary with Clamato) was perfect. The space is thoughtfully built, clean, and welcoming, the staff is real friendly, and the food is bomb. 100% worth a stop.

We stopped here for some ice cream while we were in town for a cruise port stop. My friend…read morerecommended this place and I'm so happy she did! It's right in the main tourist area so it was really easy to find. The menu is extensive and has a ton of options so it was hard to pick what to get. I got a chocolate cone with the brownie dip. My husband got a vanilla cone with the praline dip. And my toddler got a cup of chocolate ice cream with the chocolate dip. We all enjoyed what we ordered. It was super rich and delicious. However it was really messy so it was hard to not get it all over yourself and you had to eat it quickly. My only complaint was we ordered 3 different sizes (the smallest one they had and the next two sizes up) and they were all about the same size. For the expensive price, it was a bit frustrating to pay for a small size but get the same size as the smallest one they offer.

Amazing ice cream! There are many flavors to choose from and different sizes as well. They have…read morediagrams and display cones for how big each size is so it's easy to see. The larger sizes (which pricey) are huge!! Each ice cream (ex. chocolate, vanilla) can be put in a cup, cone, or waffle cone. You can then choose the flavor it gets dipped into. Finally, you can choose if you want the extra toppings for a fee. I personally love the cookies and cream one with vanilla ice cream. Service is fast and everything is visible. It's so fun to see each ice cream get made! There are also other desserts available if you want something to go, or a souvenir. There is free water. Just grab a clean cup and pour it yourself.
