We first noticed chipping just 6 months after the driveway was replaced in the fall of 2023. Cuco…read moresaid it was from cold weather and salt from our car (??? This is Michigan) He also said he would replace it in the fall (2024), but he didn't return or respond to our text or calls. Fast forward another 6 months and it's much, much worse. 2 significant portions of the drive (where cars are never parked), are crumbling. Cuco said he would come by when the weather was better, then he said he would here on Monday. That never happened. All we get are false promises and excuses. We spent what for us, is a LOT of money having the drive replaced. To say this is disappointing is a profound understatement. We withdraw our 5 star recommendation for Reale Cement If I could give zero stars, I would do so. For this job, the quality is very, very poor and trying to seek a resolution or even a response is impossible.

Also, the estimator (whom I believe was the owner's son) was very kind and available to answer all our questions, without any condescension or indifference. After the install, which took about 1-1/2 days, there were a few items I had mentioned that were overlooked, and when I contacted the owner, instead of being met with indignation (as I expected), I was met with compassion and understanding. The items were remedied within a few days. Everything looks great! No more leaking roof. -------------------------------------- On a side note, my neighbor (weeks later) said she saw many nails in her driveway, and when she said something to the workers, they were really rude. She said the next day there were food rappers and more nails in her yard/driveway, and said she ended up with a roof nail in her tire with a flat. I emphatically apologized to her but there wasn't much more I could do. I also later found 2 cigarettes (one smoked and the other whole) in my attic, and have found nails here and there for weeks now. For these last few reasons, I could not offer a 5-star rating, and almost put 3 stars, but 3 would not be indicative of the overall quality, which is more important to me from a roofer than attitude--though if everyone had an attitude similar to the owner's son, 5 stars would be an easy rank. Overall, the experience was good, but not great, though I would recommend them over others. I would only advise that every detail be written down, and that the owners have a little more oversight on their daily crews, just for quality (and attitude) control.

Four weeks after the quote and we still had no communication with this company unless we called ourselves, and even then we got the voicemail 9 times out of 10. When someone did answer, they gave us a new excuse every time. Apparently our job wasn't worth the money, and instead of canceling on us or keeping their word they just ghosted us. Our roof could've been fixed much sooner with the company we actually went with in the end and it would've prevented further damage. Shame on these guys.

Mr. Osborne is professional, on time and keeps his word. Most importantly, the work he did restoring my chimney was exceptional. Not only does it look better than the original, he restored it so that it looks as if it was constructed at the same time as my home. This was a difficult task as they no longer manufactured either the brick or the mortar used on the original. He always came when promised, was respectful of my home and cleaned up his work area when he was finished. I would hire this company again in a New York minute. To top it off, his quote (which he stuck to) was exceedingly reasonable. It truly was a pleasure. Note (this site lists my location as CA - no clue why. I live in Michigan)

I did not Hire Remer Construction LLC. Complaint does not address his other business practices:…read more Dear Mr. Remer, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service and professional conduct I recently experienced with Remer Construction LLC. I initially sought a quote to replace a single shingle on my ranch-style home. My neighbor, who is a current client of yours, provided your salesman, Scott, with the original wind-damaged shingle to ensure an accurate color match. After receiving a quote of $300-$400, I decided not to proceed with the repair and requested the return of my shingle sample. Scott has since denied receiving the sample, and during our subsequent telephone conversation, I found your communication style dismissive. It appears the sample was either misplaced or discarded, and I am disappointed that my concerns were not taken seriously. The lack of accountability regarding the lost property and the unprofessional nature of our interaction was unexpected. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to improve your customer service standards. Best regards, Gerald Bomay
