This time buddy ordered prime rib with bone marrow and mac n cheese, other buddy got halibut, and I tried the Hawaiian caught mahi mahi I believe. All of it was great and the buddy who has never been there before is a picky steak guy and was super pleased with his steak and bone marrow! We'll be back again...and again. 3/14/26-Wow! Great experience, they are on top of their game. Food was amazing, so I'll be back for sure!

We were greeted warmly and, thanks to our reservation, were seated right away. The ambiance was exactly what you'd hope for in a fine dining establishment: warm, inviting, and dimly lit. To top it off, there was a live jazz band playing, which provided the perfect sophisticated backdrop for our evening. Our waiter, Mark, was exceptional. He greeted us warmly and already knew we were there for a birthday. He walked us through the water options and provided excellent wine service for my fiancee's Washington Syrah, ensuring she tasted it first to make sure it was to her liking. The Food: Bread Service: Do not skip this! The house-made sourdough and French bread were served warm. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we loved the olive tapenade that came alongside the whipped butter. The Filet Mignon: My fiancee ordered the 10oz True West Prime NW Filet (medium-rare). It was exactly as expected: juicy, delicious, and finished with a slight char on the edges that we both loved. The Prix Fixe Menu: I opted for the 3-course meal. The Wedge Salad was crisp, and the Braised Bone-in Short Rib was incredible. The meat literally fell off the bone at the slightest touch of my fork. It was served over a parmesan risotto that was equally delicious. The "Chocolate Bomb": For the birthday dessert, they brought out a chocolate lava cake with freshly whipped cream and a hot fudge drizzle. It was the perfect ending to the night. Final Thought: Be prepared to pay a premium for the food and atmosphere, as this is definitely not a cheap meal. However, for a special occasion where you want world-class service, live music, and perfectly cooked steak, Chandlers is well worth the investment.

She reached out to us 4 years ago, when we began looking for property in the Boise area, and assisted us with a search engine to see properties that were for sale meeting our criteria, answered questions about the area and took us home shopping numerous times throughout that time. She is incredible at what she does and she really knows the Boise and surrounding areas. The most spectacular part of Burma's service, is that she is extremely detail oriented, has strong partner relationships and has an awesome grasp on identifying what is important to her buyers. She really got to know us and what was important to us, so was able to go and look at homes for us, when we couldn't be in the area to look at them ourselves, and knew immediately if they were worth our time or not. She is a straight shooter, with a laid back mentality, but quick actions when the deal is sealed and items need to be completed. She is a go getter and a wonderful person. We recommend her with 10 stars, but unfortunately this only goes up to 5. Thank you, Burma, for making this house buying experience so incredible! Dana & Bill Heintz

Unprofessional and Disrespectful Hiring Process…read more I'm writing this review to express my frustration with the way Crane Creek Country Club has handled their hiring process. As someone who lives in the Highlands and was genuinely interested in contributing to their team this summer, I expected at least a basic level of communication and professionalism, but that was far from my experience. I first reached out to Crane Creek on April 25th, sending my resume to most of the email addresses listed on their employment page. Unfortunately, their website doesn't list any current openings, so I treated it as an inquiry rather than a formal application. I followed up on May 9th and received no response. Later, colleagues with connections to the club helped me get in touch with someone on the leadership team. I sent my completed application and resume again on June 2nd, just in case there was any confusion. On June 12th, I received multiple calls from an unknown number with no voicemail left. When they finally did leave a message, it was Jared Gion from Crane Creek. We had a productive 20-minute conversation about a golf course maintenance position, and I went down to the club within the hour to meet with a staff member named Ryan. He was friendly but brief, stating the next steps would be either a second interview or to come in and start work after filling out another application. Since then, I have called Jared multiple times over the past two weeks and have received absolutely no response--no email, no voicemail, nothing. The complete lack of follow-up, after taking time out of my day to meet with them and demonstrating flexibility and genuine interest in the position, is both highly unprofessional and frankly disrespectful. I understand that not every inquiry or interview leads to a job--but clear communication is the bare minimum in any professional setting. If a company can't extend the courtesy of letting you know whether or not you're moving forward, that says a lot about how they value people. Potential applicants: proceed with caution. And to Crane Creek: you can and should do better.

High Ground (great name given high grounding is an electrical term) came to do troubleshooting on an electrical problem in our home through the serendipity of another electrician who was recommended by a trusted source being too busy to do the work and they, in turn, highly (no pun intended) recommended this business. We had an excellent experience with High Ground electricians (two on the first visit) when they came to troubleshoot the problem and discuss options to resolve it and then returned (one this time) to do the work on the selected option. We so appreciated the discussion of options because my husband and I have had four custom homes built in the last 28 years and except for this one in Idaho, all of the previous great experiences with the builders and electricians and so we have learned from the previous electricians enough to understand options when presented. It takes time for licensed electricians to present options and we value that they took that time and their recommendations and also that they listened to us for what we were trying to accomplish in correcting the original problems. We also valued the care with which they did the follow up work to implement the solution to the problem. If there was a teensy hitch in the giddeyup it was some confusion in their administration of the scheduling of the follow up appointment, but things happen in that regard when people are busy. The important thing is when the scheduling snafu was resolved, and it was resolved quickly, the work was top caliber. We would trust High Ground again to do any kind of electrical work for us. And here is another great thing, both electricians were such nice men, in addition to being expert in what they do, and when the job was all done the man doing it thanked my husband for his time! Imagine that...it was we who felt they were the ones who should be getting the thanks. I notice Yelp shows this same business in two different locations on Yelp, this page and a listing by full name High Ground Electric & Construction. Same business. I'm going to take the time to post this review at both Yelp locations, and hope eventually Yelp will consolidate the reviews into one place. https://www.yelp.com/biz/high-ground-electric-and-construction-boise-3
