Then I requested another move within a year from same upstairs room to a 2bd apt. The first team was late. About midway into loading the truck, I was told there was a problem with the first team not competently loading their truck fast enough, then causing a SECOND team to show up at the destination. This was going to be betterand faster and should cost about the same as last time. NO. The first team failed me. (One of the team members kept going into the moving truck and taking vape hits. Now, I didn't think too much of that at the time. Thought it might help him enjoy his job better?) ugh. Then I overhear a comment saying "There's so much little stuff." Really? since when do movers bitch...lol So the second team was in and out and done by dark. There was some time where the apt peeps messed up and had to wait, but. Still, I was charged $1650 for this ridiculous move. (I was shocked. I have never in my life paid close to that.) I did make a comment about what it would be to move a house. $20,000?
