Wow! This spot sure has changed through the years. Promenade on the Peninsula has now been renamed…read moreto Promenade PV. It's still an open air shopping center but they're putting a big emphasis on community gathering. They do a lot of events like a Spring Carnival and Egg Hunt. They also upgraded the ice rink under the LA Kings brand. There's also lots of new restaurants. I found a new favorite via Pho Red Bo and I spotted a yummy dessert spot via Fika Fika Creamery. Though lots of change, it was nice to see Regal Promenade still here. This movie theatre was my go- to movie theatre a few years back and I have found memories of this spacious (not crowded) theatre. Overall, I was happy to visit the new Promenade PV. It's nice to see this outdoor area gaining more popularity and it's so refreshing to see the new restaurants and events they have here.

It's main feature is an ice skating rink, named the LA Kings Ice PV, used for as a community rink for skating and hockey. It has free parking via a large parking garage attached. It is no longer a shopping center (a lot of empty storefronts), but more a community space for Palos Verdes, with a large number of restaurants, a bunch of sporting and gaming facilities, and medical businesses, including a large UCLA health clinic. We came a week before Thanksgiving, and a beautiful Christmas tree was up, providing some good picture opportunities.

I always love to check the clearance section cause you find amazing deals for really good prices. I was looking for a pot holder crochet for the bathroom and scored one for $9.99 it was perfect to add a planter and add in the bathroom for decor. The customer service is great there I had a few questions about several items and they walked me over to where I'd be able to find them. Very helpful and kind I appreciated that. As far as the lines they a few people in line but you didn't have to wait so long they had all the cashiers open so it had a great flow. Over all experience here was great, the shopping area has lots of parking so that's not a problem to find a spot. Can't wait to be back!

[Review #799] 2023-087…read more TJ Maxx is located in the heart of Peninsula Shopping Center. Although I've heard of them, I don't recall shopping at the stores. They are the flagship chain of TJX Companies; strangely, they operate as sister stores with Marshalls, which I do frequent, & both chains generally stock similar items (men's, women's, & children's apparel, shoes, & accessories; bath & beauty products; jewelry & other accessories; housewares, kitchen & home products) of those found at major department store except theirs is generally discounted. I don't believe the Rolling Hills Estates location is a higher volume store; those store may have a high-end designer department called The Runway. And it's also unexpected to find a discount department store in the affluent hills. During this school year (2023 - 2024), my son's Cantonese class has doubled the students so I've been hanging out with other parents shootin' the breeze, takin' a coffee/tea break, walking (to get some exercise in), & window shopping (sometimes actually buying stuff). The store opens pretty early, at 9:30 AM, for a Saturday morning so we usually have it pretty much to ourselves when we're browsing here. Their inventory is comparable to Marshalls, & I've gotten some great deals. What's impressive about this location is their luxury inventory... some unexpected finds include: Mackage (I knew it was a thing but haven't heard of them & needed to look them up; they're a Canadian prestigious luxury outwear clothing brand), Fendi, TOTEME (Stockholm-based label exploring the appeal of the modern uniform with meticulous craftsmanship, methodic repetition, & distinct design cues). They even carry one of my fav brands: Life is Good; an American apparel & accessories lifestyle brand known for its optimistic t-shirts that often feature Jake, a smiling stick figure. I love their pjs... so comfy & cozy. The store is organized & well-stocked, probably because we're here first thing in the morning. Can't imagine what it would be like mid-day since there's only a skeleton crew in the mornings, I'm sure they'll increase the staff during the busier shopping hours. My friend found a couple pairs of designed shades in the locked display case, & it took awhile to find someone, then another staff member to open the case. While she was mulling over which to purchase, both were great deals, I/she felt rushed into making a decision. And for security purposes (understandably), she couldn't hold onto them & he brought her glasses to the cashier even though the registers are the next row over. The staff is friendly & welcoming on our Saturday mornings, & any purchases are processed quickly. If you're looking for mark-downed name brands, you can try your luck at TJ Maxx, but it might take some time to find that treasure. Happy hunting!

I usually shop at the other, larger outlet store, but decided to come check this one out when it finally opened. They sell shoes, of course, but they also sell socks, hats and key chains darned with their logo, records, and portable record players. The store is predominantly rows and rows of men, women, and children's shoes. They display each different shoe design on top, with boxes of shoes below on the shelves. Unless the display is up against the wall, then there are boxes of shoes above the display as well. My favorite shoes is the Skechers brand. They have very comfortable soles, so I look forward to wearing them when I'm planning to walk more than ten thousand steps. And because this is the outlet store, shoes are usually buy one get one at 50% off. Staff are friendly. On the weekends, they have free small bags of popcorn. The only problem I had was that it's help yourself, so it's not being monitored. They have their own parking lot, so there's plenty of free parking. There are two exits, however, only one opens up to Crenshaw. The other exit opens up to a neighborhood side street.

This is the place to get high quality and tailor fitted suits at a great price. We're talking wool suits, italian suits, wedding suits, everyday suits, anything suits, just because suits. Hey, I heard they're even starting up a women's suits line soon too so ladies don't need to feel left out either. Shaikh will expertly take measurements, give fire advice, and dress you to truly impress. Every color you can imagine is available as well so your imagination is truly the limit here. I got my wedding three piece suit and another suit here at roughly $400-500 each including a button up shirt, tie, shoes, and belt. So yeah, you tell me if that's worth it or not cause for the quality and fit, that price can't be beat. So enough rambling, go get yourself some nice suits from Facia Facia. You won't regret it!

Between my dad and my husband, 4 suits have come from this shop, and every single one has been exceptional. My dad purchased his Father of the Bride suit here, along with another suit he later wore to my best friend's wedding, and both were perfectly aligned with his very specific taste. My husband found his wedding suit here, a stunning cream‑colored ensemble that felt timeless and elevated, and later added a luxurious Italian grey‑blue suit that he absolutely adores. The quality is consistently impressive, with fabrics sourced from various countries and craftsmanship that feels thoughtful and refined. We've already been here 6 or so times and plan to keep coming back again and again for future events and milestones. Price: Considering the level of quality, tailoring, and styling expertise, the pricing feels more than fair. Each suit set generally runs around $400-$500, including the jacket, vest, and pants. If you're a regular and polite (which goes a long way here), the owner will sometimes include a complimentary button‑up shirt or a tie, which is such a generous touch. We've also purchased shoes, belts, shirts, and other accessories here, making it easy to build a full, cohesive outfit in one place. Ambiance: From the outside, Facia Facia looks very much like a hole‑in‑the‑wall, and the interior is small and a bit crowded, but don't let that fool/deter you. This shop deals strictly in high‑quality pieces, and it truly feels like a hidden gem more people should know about. It's not flashy or polished in a luxury‑boutique way, but the substance and intention behind every item more than make up for it. Service: The service is where Facia Facia really sets itself apart. Everything is custom tailored, and the owner has an incredible eye for fit and proportion. My dad is particularly challenging to size (shorter height, shorter limbs, and a prominent pot belly) and somehow every suit fits him beautifully while staying true to his style (and he is extremely picky). The owner is also an amazing stylist and clearly passionate about what he does. He actually travels to Las Vegas to personally style high‑profile clients, charging significant fees, but if you buy a suit here, that level of styling guidance comes included. He'll effortlessly coordinate the suit with the right pants, shoes, belt, shirt, and tie, all with what feels like a magic touch. On top of all that, he's genuinely kind, enthusiastic, and deeply invested in making his clients look and feel their best. I truly hope he continues this business for many years to come. If Yelp allowed it, I'd honestly give this place 100 stars. Parking: Parking is refreshingly easy. There's a free parking lot in the back with roughly 15-20 spaces, and we've never had trouble finding a spot.
