Seating is in the ally. The servers come to your table to take your order. They are very polite. The food had excellent flavor. This is a restraunt that I look forward to eating at on the next trip.

This is a tourist trap. Its location is convenient but the food is not good and overpriced. For 3 not good fish tacos it was $25. I had better at other restaurants. It took forever to get help from our waitress. They make you pay for bottled water and refused to give us tap water. We sat outside but it was chaotic between the waitress running around, music playing, and the nearby restaurants. Go somewhere else. The food was bland and overpriced with bad service.

Service was the best that we got in this entire area. The tacos were decent. The salsa had some kick to it, but not a Mexican kick if you know what I mean. Birria consume had flavor. My wife loved their Margarita. All Food served on plastic plates cups utensils, which I hate

After seeing so many positive yelp reviews about DT, I figured we were on the right track with our dinner selection tonight. Having finished the meal, I can only assume that most of these reviews were written by half drunk cruise goers who were excited for an escape from the slop being served up on these floating Golden Corrals. A group of five ordered 2 burritos, 2 chimichanga and a stuffed avocado. Nothing was exceptional. The burritos were core of the earth hot and not a single trace of char on the steak in my burrito or the chicken in my sons. Gave a very strong impression that the hardest working member of the kitchen staff was 'Chef Mike' AKA the microwave. By far the weirdest item was the entree ordered by my vegetarian daughter. She got the vegetable chimichanga. SO, here's the thing, the menu didn't have great descriptions of their dishes and there were some English/ Spanish issues at work with us and the waiter. But, there are some basics that you'd expect to find in a vegetarian dish at a Mexican restaurant, peppers, onions, beans, rice. This chimichanga had none of these things. When she cut into it, she was first greeted by a sprig of broccoli...odd...maybe it got lost in the kitchen and wandered into her dish. Next, she met a carrot...things were getting weirder....then, a cauliflower. Seriously, she was being greeted by all the elements of a Bird's Eye frozen vegetable medley. You can't convince me that they didn't run to Sam's Club and toss a few bags in the freezer. Definitely not worth the $15.00 we paid for it. Beyond that, no one was really excited about anything that was ordered, except the Coconut based hot sauce....that slapped! The other thing that was very off putting is the fact that we were given plastic utensils and Dasani bottled water. The entire bill was $121 for 5 entrees, 1 app and 5 bottles of Dasani water...not great value. If you're really hungry for something other than cruise ship food, get your Mexican fix at Taco Bell when you get home....you'll get a better meal at a better price...and this is coming from someone who hates Taco Bell.

Holy smokes, these tacos were great. Lots of sitting inside for a big group (which we were at 10 dudes). Don't get the chips and avocado, just get fried mozzarella for appetizers instead. I got three different types of tacos (Al pastor, steak, and spicy crab and fish). The crab and fish were 10/10, and the rest were solid too. Service was solid too. A relatively quick spot to get some food before heading out into the night.

I wanted birria tacos while I was visiting San Juan Puerto Rico from my cruise. I looked it up on Yelp and found Don Tako. My friend and I went in and ordered our desired food and drink. All ingredients were served fresh and hot and tasted delicious. My Medella beer was served nice and ice cold. I'd revisit.

It is exceptional. I loved it. You should try it. Authentic food. The staff is very friendly as well. This place should have a higher rating.

Terrible food. If you ask for waters they bring bottles. Service is subpar. Look elsewhere for your food.

I desperately needed this after Mallorcas galore! Time is a bit fluid so they will open up a half hour late, but their happy hour deals run all night long, and every night. Some of the food will be fresh, and some will be less desirable. But I'm not mad I stopped here- Ya can't really beat two margaritas for $10 and two tacos for $7. The chicken is dry, so opt for the pork tacos. Request for the cook to go easy on the salt on every dish, especially with the fish.

My partner is Mexican and I'm a world traveler who has eaten Mexican food cooked by Mexicans (partners, suegras, cooks, sister in laws, etc) for 14 years. I don't want to see yellow cheese and any sort of lettuce on my tacos. Like everywhere in San Juan, the atmosphere is rustic burned out bar, aka perfect. The woman running the front of the house was casual and friendly, and unlike some of our dining experiences here, prompt and attentive. We ordered the special mole enchiladas and alhambre, plus elotes, drinks and desert. The menu is something I would be excited to explore in the United States, lots of traditional dishes including several moles, birria, cochinita pibil, tacos, etc. It's southern Mexican cuisine, and when we learned the chef is from Puebla it made perfect sense. The food was excellent. After days without spicy anything (why does everywhere offer Tabasco?) we were excited to have three homemade hot sauces brought to our table. The mole was very special, and I've eaten like six kinds of mole in Oaxaca. Enchiladas with perfectly done vegetables covered half in white and half in the more traditional dark/mole Poblano. I wish I could recreate it over and over at home. My partner's food was also excellent, and everything we saw coming out looked great. So sad we can't come again soon.
