This is a very nice paved exercise trail named in honor of businessman and developer Don Soffer (b. 1932). Soffer was given the primary responsibility to develop an upscale community around the Turnberry Country Club. Originally named Turnberry he renamed the project Aventura, the Spanish word for adventure. The exercise trail is 10 feet wide, paved, and ADA accessible. It is 3.1 miles long and goes around the Turnberry Isle Resort Golf Course along Country Club Drive. Along the path is landscaping, shade trees, lights, benches, and water fountains. This easy to traverse trail is a popular pace for the community to safely walk, run, jog, rollerblade and bike. It takes most people an hour or less to complete. Pets are allowed as long as leashed six feet or less. On one side of the trail is the road so it is not as scenic as the trails through natural areas that I prefer. Still it is nice to know the exact distance you are going, it is a loop, and the trail is conveniently open 24 hours a day. read more

Nice exercise trail around the golf courses. Listed at 3.1 miles, my GPS came back at 2.9 so pretty accurate. Path is flat blacktop that was in great shape and seemed to be well maintained. Sporadic trees gave a respite from the sun, especially on the north side. Southern side was fairly exposed to the sun right next to the causeway. Great exercise trail that is 3 miles long. Close to Aventura mall and... highway. Thats the only downside - most of the trail is too close to road, too many cars. However, on the other side is nice golf course, ugly ducks from lake, flowers... It takes about an hour to walk the trail, I love it. It can be too many cyclists during weekend but weekdays are perfect, it's never too crowded. read more

Absolutely LOVED this trail !!! Soooo gorgeous!! I love all the trees and such a clean path to run,jog or walk, rollerblade, bike etc on ...its surrounded by a great neighborhood! Despite its next to the street and across from the mall I'm surprised I didn't mind one bit! This is a fantastic path for walking, running, blading or skating. Very smooth and lots of shade except for one section along the causeway. Clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this Trail for a workout or a nice walk as it circles a golf course and there are lots of pretty things to look at. read more

This is a good track to run its not as big but there are a lot of trees to provide shade and there are water fountains along the trail. Be careful with cars coming out of the hotels and condominiums, although they have stop signs you want to be on the look out. I parked across the street at the aventura mall. read more

Very nice trail in the heart of Aventura. Nice scenery of the golf course. Water fountains spread out (for humans and pets). Overall a great place to walk, jog, run, people watch etc. Easy access and parking via Aventura Mall parking lots. There are 3 x 1 mile indicators, but the trail is actually like 2.8 miles via GPS. :) Get out there and move your body, feel your heart pumping, and you will know you are alive. Also, don't forget you can do burpees too :) read more

By far the best trail to go for a run or a walk. The trail was recently repaved and the scenery is gorgeous. The trail is almost in it's entirety covered so you have shade pretty much for the length of the course, except for the south part of the trail which is fully exposed to the sun. It's family and pet friendly and very pleasant to go to. I highly recommend it to anybody who travels to Miami. read more

Doesn't matter if you're a seasoned athlete or just taking a stroll, this is one of the nicest exercise paths in South Florida. Beautifully paved and even leveled (isn't everything in Florida?), this path is just over 3 miles around and has a nice backdrop of the golf course amidst condominiums. On weekend mornings you'll find hundreds of fit and less-fit people here, and really cute dogs with them. You'll also find annoying ducks from the nearby lake that will attack you for stale bread if you have it. Aventura is safe at all hours and you can park at the mall if you're not local to the circle. It's a lovely workout. read more

I also saw a bike rack which seems to be rental bikes can't wait to try those out. Beautiful views of the golf course & condos!! Great trail for running, biking or walking. Beautiful scenery and ambiance. Very convenient for Aventura residents like me. If you are coming in from out of town it may be difficult to access or find parking. There are also bike stations for rentals along the way. read more

Track is nice and relaxing. Walking down the strip closest to the William causeway is a bit frightening cars speed past and constantly honk. Seems a little unsafe only in that area. The rest of the path is very soothing and relaxing to walk for pleasure or for exercise. It is usually very clean and they even have doggy water fountains! Very smart idea :-) read more

This trail is located beside a fairly busy four lane street. Even though there are several cross-walks, I had difficulty crossing the street in order to get to the trail. There are several nice water fountains along the trail, and some very interesting trees. The trail is flat and all users were courteous. It is a nice loop. Without the bordering traffic, it would be ideal. read more

Very nice trail, takes about 25 min to jog around it, 20 if I really push it and don't take breaks. There are water fountains and even a bathroom if you need to take a break. You can watch resort golfers hack away on the very nice golf course as well. A few errant drives have landed near me way out of bounds, but this happens about once in every 100 times. The only thing I'd change is to convert part of the surface from pavement to crushed gravel for joggers, it is softer and easier on the joints, and the white color won't absorb so much heat. It absorbs water very well also. Bikers and walkers can use the smooth asphalt. But these are very minor, other than that it is super nice to have nearby. read more

I love this trail because it has several water stops, you can see some flamingo's walking on the golf course and you will feel like you have to come back because there are always people running, cycling, walking, skating or in any other way enjoying the best excercise trail I've ever found! There should be a fan club or bootcamp around the trail, does someone know if this exists? read more

I have been excercising at the Aventura Circle for years. It's a beautiful, 3 mile trail that I enjoy with my kids regularly. Love living in Aventura ESPECIALLY for this. This is a big part of my everyday routine and I wouldn't have it any other way! I love my city!! read more
