Service was superb, and food came quick. The Cancun burrito and seafood enchiladas were so full of flavor, it was magnificent!!! The menu online does not reflect the correct restaurant. It was an error that landed us at the wrong establishment. We decided to order anyways from the actual menu that was Mexican cuisine , instead of the Cuban menu that was displayed on the Yelp site. I pointed this out to the manager. I ordered the carne azada. This cut of meat was full of chunks of fat , it was lower grade meat which had a funny taste of being expired. I could not finish the dish. I've eaten here several times and each time is a dining experience to savor. Their food is what I aim for in a Mexican restaurant. The selection is big with something for everyones taste. I realy like the shrimp tacos. Plenty of perfecty grilled shrimp, lettuce and pico de gallo, with rice, beans and guacamole. The Tacos al Pastor were the best I've had since being in Mexico. The Enchiladas Poblanas, tender chicken wraped in soft corn tortillas covered with a rich molle sauce were to die for. They also serve one of the best golden margaritas I've ever had in Wisconsin. And the service is top notch. They have the friendliest waiters you could ask for. We are so forunate to have such a great restaurant in our little town. This is one of our favorite places to go. By far the best Mexican food in the area. My husband refuses to go anywhere else. The service is good and staff is very friendly. This is the best Mexican restaurant I've been to in the area. They have some of the best, freshest chips and salsa. That alone is practically worth a visit, especially compared to some of the other area Mexican restaurants that seem to use store-bought chips and salsa. The main entrees I've had are all amazing. Every time I go I try something different, and I have never been disappointed. The food has always been hot, very flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients. I took a friend on one visit, who ordered the fajitas. She said they were the best fajitas she had ever had, and she is notoriously picky, so she doesn't make comments like that lightly. I am very sorry that the other reviewer had a bad experience. However, as someone with no food allergies or special requirements, I personally love the food here and would really recommend it. read more

The service is always wonderful and everyone is very friendly. The food arrives at your table very quickly and is always very visually appealing. The last time I went with my family, I was not impressed. Congrats Don Ramons-you guys did a 360 on everything! My husband and a close friend convinced me to go back, and we could see a definite change in the food, the presentation, and the service. Eduardo was extremely friendly and paid close attention to my order. My margarita was perfect! I stuck with seafood to avoid the fryer and any and all glutenous foods, and I'm glad I did. My husband ordered Camarones al mojo de ajo, and I ordered Camarones de Chipotle, BAM! It was great! the presentation of the plate and the portions were 10x better than the last time. We had a great time, and we will be back! If you're sensitive with gluten, ie celiac's disease, avoid the chips and ask for a clean pan instead of the grill-but beyond that everything was 100% better than the last time. Don Ramon is in my top 2 Mexican Restaurants (in Dodge and Fond du lac area). Don Ramon is a great improvement on the previous restaurant in that space. The carnitas are excellent, and I never complain about the chili relleno! From a Culinary perspective thats hard to find! The staff always smiles and show great service. Dom Ramos it is a pleasant place to take my family. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more
