They did the digging using their own Bob cats and tools, leveling installing different materials such as sand, stone, polymeric sand. Precise and beautiful. He gave me a 2 year warranty and came with us to choose the material. He showed us all the invoices of the material he bought. The team was working on site everyday at 7.30 AM and left sharp at 5.30 PM. They even worked on Saturday. They cleaned up after themselves and even had lunches while doing the work. Originally, I thought patching the inside of the basement would suffice. I found Complete Paving & Masonry on Yelp, and reached out; Jerry responded very quickly and was able to come by to provide a visual inspection and a quote. He recommended that work needs to be done on the outside in order to fix the inside. We took a walk around the outside and he provided points of what work needed to be done. Essentially, he recommended to dig up the dirt around the foundation; patch and seal the foundation; put in some gravel and then cover it up with dirt. This would help prevent water from leaking through the foundation into the basement/garage. After conversing with my fellow condo neighbor, we hired Jerry's team to do the work. Within a week, they were able to come on site and start the work. It took them 4 days to do the work (original quote was 3-5 days). Jerry and his team did a magnificent job. They went above and beyond the original estimate's work at no extra charge to improve the water flow surrounding the condo. They also did some additional patch work on the outside of the condo. When the job was completed, Jerry walked me through everything his team did and why it was done, so I was able to understand the reason for the work. Jerry is friendly, honest, and provides top notch service. I highly recommend his team for any mason work.

When he first looked at the job he suggested cleaning patio, all steps in the front and stone work in the front. He also mentioned fixing a blue stone step in the front and brick steps at the back both of which had safety risk. He also mentioned to reset the steps in the front and he gave a total estimate. 1. Several days later when he sent written estimate he kept the amount same but dropped fixing blue stone patio at the front. He claimed that original estimate did not have that. I thought that is absurd but I accepted to pay some more. 2. In the "last day" (since he still did not finish work) he said they completed the work and remaining money needs to be paid. I showed two things. (i) Resetting of the steps in the front was not even. He "explained" that is because in the front he left out circular part untouched, the remaining resetting resulted unevenness. Should not he explain before the job and or suggest that small circular part needs to be retested too? At that point hardly anything could be done. (ii) He did not clean part of the stone work and bottom of some of the steps. He said that he would come back and do that. He said it is "word of honor" he would come back on Wednesday (he was saying this on Sunday). I was misled by 5 star reviews that he had and also he is great talkeer. I paid him remaining balance. HE NEVER CAME BACK. When I inquired on Wednesday he said he would come over weekend. When I called him Saturday afternoon he did not pick the phone. When I called him again he texted to stop calling him repeatedly and he will come back on Sunday (i.e. technically last day of the weekend). After waiting ~two more weeks I mentioned to him I will share reviews in various posts (yelp, google etc. and let my neighbors etc. know) he immediately texted back and said he would come next day. I did not post, next day he texted again saying he would come over the weekend. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN EITHER. I simply think that scams like this misleads people and creates lack of trust in craiglist, yelp etc. which otherwise can be great source of getting service and promoting small and independent business. Hence my posting is here. Anyone can make there own judgement whether or not to do business with this guy (Marco).

We initially only contacted them for the walkway, but they did such a great job, we decided to have them help us with the rest of the projects we had on our list as well. It was easy to communicate with Tom, his dad John, from the beginning all the way to the end. Everyone is courteous and responsible. They worked really hard, did a really nice job, and took away all the waste when they were done. We've had lots of compliments on the new walkway, the landings, and the columns from the neighbors.
