I will never buy a car from them ever again! I went last…read moreSaturday to go and look at a 2015 Ford ecoboost mustang with my dad and the car was fantastic other than a back up camera was glitched up and the mirrors wouldn't go down but they said they would fix them free of charge. So I called the bank Monday and got preapproved for the loan at 4:34pm. My loan officer called Rick Mccrystal the salesman I was talking to he said that he would hold the vehicle for me for the following day. So I got there Tuesday morning at 9pm I talked to Rick a little, then he took me to Barry where I signed the papers for the mustang. I gave him my 4,000 that was going in the deal and the title to my other car. They asked if I had anything I needed out of the other car before I left in the mustang and I said yes " I have quite a bit " so they had me pull next to the mustang to transfer my items over just as I started to put my items In the mustang Rick comes out and says " hold on Cameron I think that car sold last night " so I wait a little and he comes back and says " yeah that car sold last night" so I had to go back in there and sign to void the contract that we just signed because they didn't know they already sold the car I had just bought. I hope I can save someone else the trouble of dealing with this excuse of a dealership! I've bought cars easier from used car lots than Alton Blakley Ford.

I just returned from a 1400-mile round trip towing the camper across hills and flat ground with strong (30+ mph) winds. The truck did extremely well and is very capable. This is my second F-150 from Alton Blakley Ford. Their staff has always been professional and helpful in my selection and purchase. I would recommend them, their products and service to anyone.

We actually felt at the beginning, that it was going to be a quick and easy sale. The listed price of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon EV was a very good price ($48,000) and the young salesman (Zac) explained how they came to that price with all the dealership reductions (since with was a 2024, I figured they were marking it down just to sell it), the electric vehicle incentive program reduction, the additional $8000 incentive and the military price reduction. Oh boy was I wrong. After my wife and I both test drove the vehicle and she said she wanted it (even thought it wasn't the High Altitude she really wanted), we felt good going into negotiations with our trade-in. So after they had me sign a piece of paper saying to if was came to terms, I would take possession of the vehicle tonight, they left to see what they would give me for the wife's trade in. So after an hour of waiting, they come out with the sale sheet with a sale price over $11,000 more that their advertised price for this vehicle!!! I honestly couldn't believe the offer they put in front of me. And I asked they salesman, "Is this a joke?" He told me it wasn't. I immediately got up and started walking, but needed my wife key back for her trade in. As we were waiting for them to return our key, the Sales Manager (don't remember his name because I'm all sorts of pissed off by now, comes over to "explain" what happened. I told him I didn't appreciate the "bait and switch" tactic they use at this dealership and he tells me (get this) "there was a problem with our computers and it always happens when they update their software and that the computer has been putting the wrong amounts all day." I told him I didn't believe that for one minute and why didn't Zac tell us that we be started this process 2 hours ago. He said he may not have known. Really!?!?!? Your computer system is putting in "wrong prices all day" and you didn't bother telling your sales people? He told me "I have no reason to lie to you." Wait, you're a Car Sales Manager, it's in your job description. He also asked if there anything he could do to make it right...well of course, honor the original price you told us 2 hours ago. Well of course that wasn't going to happen, so I just want our key so we could get as far way from this dealership as possible. I'm not sure if all Don Franklin dealerships are like this, or is it just this particular dealership that uses the ole "bait and switch" tactic just to get you to come in and then blame if on their "computers." Either way, I'm probably going to look at other dealership other than Don Franklin for buying my wife a new Jeep Wrangler High Altitude...I guess I should have looked at the reviews before coming to this dealership and you should do the same thing. Now I don't blame Zac for not knowing, that is something "management" should have told ALL their sales representatives. I normally hate to write bad reviews, but tonight, they totally pissed me off to no end. So be extra careful when dealing with this particular dealership and best to look elsewhere if you can.
