We actually felt at the beginning, that it was going to be a quick and easy sale. The listed price of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon EV was a very good price ($48,000) and the young salesman (Zac) explained how they came to that price with all the dealership reductions (since with was a 2024, I figured they were marking it down just to sell it), the electric vehicle incentive program reduction, the additional $8000 incentive and the military price reduction. Oh boy was I wrong. After my wife and I both test drove the vehicle and she said she wanted it (even thought it wasn't the High Altitude she really wanted), we felt good going into negotiations with our trade-in. So after they had me sign a piece of paper saying to if was came to terms, I would take possession of the vehicle tonight, they left to see what they would give me for the wife's trade in. So after an hour of waiting, they come out with the sale sheet with a sale price over $11,000 more that their advertised price for this vehicle!!! I honestly couldn't believe the offer they put in front of me. And I asked they salesman, "Is this a joke?" He told me it wasn't. I immediately got up and started walking, but needed my wife key back for her trade in. As we were waiting for them to return our key, the Sales Manager (don't remember his name because I'm all sorts of pissed off by now, comes over to "explain" what happened. I told him I didn't appreciate the "bait and switch" tactic they use at this dealership and he tells me (get this) "there was a problem with our computers and it always happens when they update their software and that the computer has been putting the wrong amounts all day." I told him I didn't believe that for one minute and why didn't Zac tell us that we be started this process 2 hours ago. He said he may not have known. Really!?!?!? Your computer system is putting in "wrong prices all day" and you didn't bother telling your sales people? He told me "I have no reason to lie to you." Wait, you're a Car Sales Manager, it's in your job description. He also asked if there anything he could do to make it right...well of course, honor the original price you told us 2 hours ago. Well of course that wasn't going to happen, so I just want our key so we could get as far way from this dealership as possible. I'm not sure if all Don Franklin dealerships are like this, or is it just this particular dealership that uses the ole "bait and switch" tactic just to get you to come in and then blame if on their "computers." Either way, I'm probably going to look at other dealership other than Don Franklin for buying my wife a new Jeep Wrangler High Altitude...I guess I should have looked at the reviews before coming to this dealership and you should do the same thing. Now I don't blame Zac for not knowing, that is something "management" should have told ALL their sales representatives. I normally hate to write bad reviews, but tonight, they totally pissed me off to no end. So be extra careful when dealing with this particular dealership and best to look elsewhere if you can.

We drive like old people because we are old people ... we never have mechanical issues with anything, but we bought the Alpha Priority One warranty they offered because we are retired on a fixed income. In about 2K miles it developed a serious vibration requiring a Torque Tube. The Dealer service department handled everything under warranty at no charge to me. This is a known problem with these C7 Corvettes. The new one failed right away, evidently having the same problem common to so many. The Service Department explained that the part was OEM new, but must have been older stock with the same problem. The Service Department contacted Chevy and obtained a new Torque Tube with the issue corrected. Shortly thereafter, the car developed another problem and both rear axle shafts were replaced with new OEM parts at no charge to me. At that point, the repairs would have been more than $10K if I was paying for them. At 65, I've had more warranty issues with this car than all the other cars I have owned in my life combined, but that's fine. Anything mechanical can have issues, but the car drives like brand new now, They way we drive, it averages more than 35MPG on the highway ... pic attached since I know that is hard to believe if you haven't owned late model Corvettes. My son and Don Franklin are closing on the identical 2019 version of this car this weekend.

However, I was concerned about what the car would actually look like if I drove all the way up to Kentucky to see it. My contact person, Elijah Hart, told me not to worry because the deposit was refundable. He did not say that it was ONLY refundable if I did not agree that it was as spotless as he was claiming. Nothing was ever put in writing and signed. I admit I should have clarified. When I changed my mind about the car altogether, AB Honda refused to refund my deposit or any part of it. I contacted Honda, received an apology, and was told that they would document a complaint against the dealership. Never give them any money up front without getting refund details in writing!

My friend returned several weeks later and apparently did the same with no issues. I've been back since for an oil change appointment, which was easy to schedule online, and also then completed under an hour. Waiting areas are comfortable. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. Property is clean and also well maintained and easily accessible.

When asked where it was scratched neither of them could point to the scratch but still insisted it was! They lied continuously while dealing with both of them.
