All of the knives are sharp and work really well. Luckily none of my knives had nicks or chips that take extra time and cost to fix. I live close by so I dropped off and picked up my own knives but he offers that service for a delivery charge on his website. His pricing is fair for the amount of time and work he puts into each knife. I don't want to buy the equipment and invest my own time so I'd rather pay an expert for his time and work. The first knife I bought was a nakiri vegetable knife, which I still use to this day. This was not the only knife I bought from Knifewear over the years, and I love each knife I got from the store. Knifewear sells Japanese handmade knives, of all shapes and sizes, and price (from under 100$ to a few thousand dollars). The store sells kitchen accessories, such as vegetable and other utensils, charcoal grills, cook books, cutting boards, sharpening stones, outdoor tools (axes and knives), and aprons, to name a few. Knifewear is definitely the place to go if you are on the market to buy a sharp high quality knife (and /or other kitchen items)!! By far the worst place to do Business! I brought my boat…read morethere September 2018 and was told it is a quick fix and should only take a few days, mark the owner asked for 300$ upfront as it would be the total cost. It's now June 2019 I still don't have my boat he avoids my calls and messages. And when I do talk to him he promises to have it done that same week and he would keep me posted! But never does. This company should be investigated for fraud as I don't believe they do any sort of work there. Looks more like a junk yard to me. A civil suit might be in his future! Do not do Business there.
