This is pretty much the only place in the world that I will never ever, ever, ever eat from again. Ever. One night we ordered pizza. Picked it up. I took two pieces of pizza out of the box and was not eating anything else at all. My beverage was a water. After a few bites, I hit something extremely hard in the pizza to where it actually hurt and worried me. Spit it out and rushed to a mirror. And sure enough, it had actually chipped off a piece of my back molar. I'm thinking it must have been a small piece of metal or something. I had never had this occur before, and have never had it occur anywhere else with any other food since.
I contacted a store "manager" and could not imagine a more flippant, unconcerned, rude encounter. The main highlight of this conversation was him attempting to turn it on me by initially accusing me that I was "faking" it, then that I was the one being rude, and then finally, if I wasn't faking it, that it was probably from a candy bar I might have been eating at the same time as eating the pizza. But I was only eating their pizza. No candy bars. Nothing else. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he wasn't in. Finally gave me a name and number.
I did not hear back and finally visited the store in person. Again, the primary individual that was supposedly a "manager" was not very professional and even actually rude. I finally received a business card of a Vic Cole / Director of Public Relations and contacted him. Initially, it seemed like finally maybe someone was concerned and would rectify the situation. Vic told me he would contact corporate and get back to me. When I did not hear back after a week or so, I called Vic again, and he told me to email him the $290 dental bill from where the dentist filled in the chip the day after the incident and he would submit it to corporate for reimbursement.
I emailed Vic the bill and waited a week or two. He did not respond to the email. He did not respond at all. I finally called Vic back to verify that he received the email. He kind of dodged the question and said to email him the bill again. I emailed it again. I waited another at least two weeks and after still not receiving a response, I called Vic again. Left voicemail. At this point, I fully realized that unfortunately he / Domino's apparently had just been trying to dodge it till I would simply give up. Like I said, this is pretty much the worst experience I've ever had with a company. read more
