I ordered $60 worth of 6 pizzas and 6 garlic sauces for a birthday, the delivery is supposed to be contactless and it asked how I wanted the driver to drop off my food. I said, "place on porch." I was surprised to see that the delivery driver was standing at the foot of my porch with a pen and receipt for me to sign...it was kind of awkward given that if I have to touch your pen that other people have touched, why not just hand me the boxes too? Pointless.
But that's definitely not my point of rating this place a generous 1 star (only because I have to). So I get inside and realize that there is 6 RANCH sauces not garlic sauces that I paid for...you know...that overpriced 50 cents a little container garlic sauce...So since this was for a birthday and the birthday boy asked specifically for garlic sauce, I called the store thinking it would be a real quick "we're so sorry about that, the driver will drop off 6 garlic sauces" but no...it was much...much more difficult than that. Not only thanks to the woman who answered the phone but the manager "Matt" who I finally got to speak to after 15 minutes....15 ENTIRE MINUTES OF MY FOOD GETTING COLD!
Well, the woman needed my phone number to pull up the order...I gave this lady my phone number about 12 times and in the course of giving her my phone number numerous times, she put me on hold about 3 times! Then I had to spell my name for her about 5 times until she finally put me on hold...again...for the manager.
The manager couldn't understand what the big deal was...well by this time MATT, it's been 20 MINUTES since the pizza has arrived, birthday boy is waiting for me to solve a VERY SIMPLE ISSUE...and MATT just couldn't understand why the big deal...all I wanted was for the garlic sauce to be delivered....the sauce I paid for in addition to the $60 worth of pizzas that never got opened. I asked for at least a partial refund or remake, for my now cold food...25 MINUTES into what was supposed to be a simple phone call. He had the audacity to tell me "but you're getting 6 ranch for free!"
Long story short, told him to forget it, give me a full refund, of course they want the pizza back....either to give to another order (eek!) or just trash (what a waste of money), I was told the driver would come pick it up. I set it back on the front porch and he never came. I ended up calling back to tell him I'm dropping it off to you, picked the fly swarmed boxes off my porch and drove the whole order back to Dominos for the next to order to probably receive my 30 MINUTE old and sat outside for 10 minutes pizza....what a disgrace! read more
