We had friendly, attentive service with two different waitresses checking on us regularly. We ordered the hashbrown stack which tasted amazing. The hashbrowns were super crispy and tasted like they had been cooked by bacon. We also had the double bacon cheeseburger . The patties are quite thick and seasoned nicely. All their burgers come with two sides. Your choice of soup and a potato. We upgraded to have a side salad instead of the soup and then we had onion rings. Everything was crispy, fresh and tasted good. We would definitely come back again. Unfortunately , we were too full in the end for pie because they have quite a selection of fruit pies and cream pies as well as 6 to 8 blue bunny ice cream flavors. They serve their full menu all day so that includes breakfast. Many of their breakfast options come with their cinnamon swirl toast, which was really tasty and unique to them.

On my way out of town, I saw the gas price here was $2.33 which definitely lured me in. I used the wallet on my phone to pay. It went through just fine. I didn't really look at the pump until after I took the nozzle out of the holder. Then I noticed the pump looked NOTHING like I'd ever seen! There were no buttons to push and no instructions. I asked the guy using the pump on the other side how to use it. He said he didn't know either & couldn't figure it out. He said, "I guess WalMart's getting my business" and left while I was walking into the store to get some help. When I asked the woman cashier how to use the pump, apparently I gave too much information. I explained that I had used the wallet on my phone to pay & didn't know what to do from there. She immediately seized on the first part of my question & insisted I had to swipe a card. I kept trying to explain to her that it DID accept the payment from my phone. Finally, the guy who was working told her that it does take payment that way. Then, he told me that I had to "lift the red lever that's behind the black handle." Nobody offered to come out & show me how to use it. The guy just stood there. After getting nowhere with these people, I announced that I would get my gas at Costco and left. When I got back to my car, I stopped to see what red lever the employee was talking about & looked again for some kind of instructions. No red lever. No instructions.

Hillsboro has very little, but the area has no shortage of pizza, but none of it is nearly as good as this! Unlike most places, it tastes completely like homemade and the herbs and the toppings make it a perfect experience for your taste buds. They're located in the same place where Pizza Junction was before it shut down (a seemingly cursed location). The staff seems very friendly and the pizza is ready in the average time (15-20 minutes). I haven't used their delivery yet, but we did carry out both times. On its own the pizza can be a little expensive, but they have lots of good deals during the week that make it cost-effective. We did Tuesday because of the Buy One Get One Free 14" or 16" deal they have on Tuesday (We got two 14" 2-toppings carry out for $14.13 with tax, making it very affordable if you use the deals!), and I know on Sundays they do a Family deal and if you order anytime after 9pm they have a late-night deal for one pizza for $9.99. They also have a gluten-free option--and I did call to ask since I have a friend whose daughter has severe Celiac's and if you ask them when you place the order they CAN prepare the gluten-free pizza in a separate area to avoid the cross contamination! A rarity in these parts.
