Garlic Parmesan knot

Just sitting here waiting for Dominoes to deliver. We got chicken wings Buffalo and large thin crust half black olives and mushrooms and the other half added jalapeños. Papa John's delivery is way faster. So if you want your food fast don't go with Domino's. Still waiting..... Was supposed to get text alerts but nope nothing. Been over 45 min and still waiting!!! Papa John's takes around 25 minutes at the most!!! Been waiting over an hour now, this is nuts!!! Should have just picked it up. Or maybe should have ordered Hungry Howie's, O love Hungry Howie's! My 3 year old is being very patient!!! Went with Domino's cause I wanted the points for free pizza, I think I earned one now with emphasis on EARNED!!! If I would have known it would take over 70 minutes I would have ordered somewhere else!! Finally have the food!!! Not hot! I got the specialty chicken and score it a 1.5 out of 10. Wings are lots better. They were dried out and don't have much flavor and being luke warm didn't help. Pizza is cold. Have to warm up in microwave!!! So aggravating! Maybe they don't have enough help? I do like the thin crust pizza though. After heating it up I give it a 6.4 out of 10. Good crisp. Good sauce and fresh cheese. The veggies were good too. That's my review!

This place is one of those rare gems that if happen to be in the northeast part of Florida, you should stop here! And an even bigger if, if you are in Palatka on Tuesday or Friday, you have pleasure of ordering Lou's famous fried chicken. There are other items on the menu that are worthy of your order, with this fried chicken is to lunch for! My dining companion and I split the three-piece fried chicken entrée, which was served with french fries and coleslaw. I am sure that the meal was under $11, and was worth every penny. We had to save room because we wanted to try the ice cream shop down the street. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and moist and savory on the inside. The french fries were spot on crispy and the coleslaw is a perfect final option for this meal. Service was very friendly and cheerful. We could tell this is the kind of place that the local frequent. Although we elected to eat inside due to the heat of the day, there is outdoor seating and I think carhop service outside. The restaurant serves breakfast all day as well as other sandwich options. This restaurant is as iconic to Florida as any museum, and is worth a repeat visit!

I ordered the Ribeye steak, side salad, collards and dirty rice. The two drier sides came in separate containers but the collars came on the plate with the steak. The steak was cooked past my request and was sitting in a bath of collard juices. My biggest turn off were the flies. I do not enjoy swatting flies while trying to enjoy dinner. May try again in the winter or if they get the fly situation under control.

We got hungry after running errands so went out for dinner this Thursday around 6pm, parked on the street (free parking), and seated immediately by a friendly hostess. We chose to eat indoors since it was hot out (90's) so we sat at table 1 for the high top seats to accommodate my husband's height. There were around 5 other tables occupied and the rest of the dining area was empty. Our server was Boo and she had a delightfully bubbly personality, letting us know the specials and local origins of the food. We ordered Coke no ice, ginger ale no ice, cajun fries no bacon, well-done Swamp Burger, buffalo chicken bites, and a mahi mahi fish basket. My husband decided to use their restroom, which interestingly enough, are located outside around the corner of the building. I'm guessing this was done so the chefs in the cooking area (in the food truck) could use them easily. Our drinks arrived in minutes and appetizer (cajun fries) arrived around 10 minutes later. The rest of the food was brought out about 10 more minutes after that. The entire order was correct and made very well. Cajun fries were crispy with gooey cheese sauce and cajun spices. Fish basket was tasty and not fishy at all (yay!). My husband said his burger was good and not oily. All in all, cost was about $95 with a generous tip. We would come back for another date here, hopefully with Boo as our server again :)

Perfect. Good rating, reviews look great, timing perfect. My mouth began watering in anticipation. We drive through Palatka and find Berndt Ends....CLOSED. We found someone out back and were told that they had a catering so they closed. No sign, no notice on the door or on the web, just disappointment that we couldn't try them out. Loved the looks of the joint. Loved the name (the owner/pitmaster). Loved the reviews. Just didn't get to love the 'Q. I would suggest a call ahead if you are traveling or not very near to this place. Rating? How? I guess I'll rate it 3 stars and hope someday to get back there and let them prove that they are a 4 or 5 star joint.

Came on a Tuesday at lunch time and enjoyed the iced tea, 1/4 chicken (from the by the pound menu), "Crack" Mac and Cheese, and Datil pepper cornbread. The chicken was soooo moist and perfectly cooked, with a nice dark toasty skin. My companion's chopped pork sandwich was also Incredibly moist and well made. The cornbread muffins were adorable, tiny and their spice will creep up on you :) + great with butter. Waitress was polite and attentive. The area even had outdoor string lights and a fire pit for ambiance in the evenings.

The customer service was also good when I had to bring in a return of something that I even opened by accident! The prices reflected the above good points and were comparable to the cost of shopping at Whole Foods! As long as you were fine, at least one bag of groceries you were probably going to pay 100 bucks. Still, there are no good options nearby, so I still shopped here regularly.

There is a reason, well, several reasons that I can point directly at to explain the rise of Publix…read moreto the very definition of what a supermarket should and could be here in the southeastern United States. First, Publix has amazing customer service. You are continuously greeted by the employees as you walk through the supermarket. They also will address any question or concern you might have. Customer service is just one thing that sets Publix apart. Another thing is their weekly BOGO (buy one, get on free) deals. Every week they have a slew of great deals. We also cannot forget their subs, affectionately known as pub subs. These are great subs. One of my main go to subs their Italian. I also like their roast beef and cheese. My daughter, who is not a huge sandwich fan, even likes their chicken tenders subs. My son, who does like sandwiches, likes their Italian sub, as well. Kind of weird to realize that some of the best subs come from a supermarket, but Publix definitely delivers. Oh, another thing that I am a fan of is the Publix diet iced tea, available over by the deli section. The deli is also pretty impressive. You can get cakes and whatnot, but I really like their bread and they also have pizza dough do that you can make your own homemade pizza. All in all, Publix is a great supermarket and it is my go to supermarket. If you have been to Publix, I am sure you will understand. If you are not familiar with Publix supermarket, try them once and you will be a fan. Publix has come a long way since they began here in Florida. They have expanded throughout the southeast and continue to grow. As I said, I do recommend Publix, definitely the best supermarket around.
