There was no line -- I was the only customer -- yet I had to wait about 15 minutes for a single Classic Chicken Sandwich. During the wait, the employee was rude and unprofessional. After driving all day, I took the food back to my motel room, only to discover that the chicken was raw in the middle. I had to throw it away and go without dinner. I contacted Popeyes corporate to request a refund or credit, but they refused to help unless I could provide a picture of the raw sandwich -- which is unreasonable, considering most people don't think to photograph unsafe food before throwing it out. This was a complete failure in food safety, customer service, and accountability. I will never buy food from a Popeyes location again.

Even the salad was better than most but the filet was melt in your mouth and truly wonderful and the mushrooms had such a great flavor I had to ask the owner how they were prepared. Truly an exceptional meal and I enjoyed every bite. My husband chose the ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes and salad and was very happy with his meal too. The atmosphere was casual and nice. The owner mentioned they fed the band that day too. I hope they enjoyed their meals as much as we enjoyed the meal and show too. A very nice birthday date. Most of the younger attendants don't pay attention or even care to make sure they are giving out the right orders. The only time I go to the store and don't get treated with disrespect is when the older lady & gentleman are working. The kids need to be trained properly on how to handle customers and provide good customer service. I would provide his name but they apparently don't have to wear name tags, making it easier for them to treat people in a disrespectful manner.

We were very disappointed in the lack of culinary creativity in the sauces. Bbq sauce is an art, it can literally make or break the meat and it seemed like an afterthought at Hawg Heaven. Overall, there was nothing on the buffet that was particularly tasty or worth the calories.
