Idk if there is an actual portal to NYC installed in the door or what. There are elements of Denton scattered throughout, though, which are pleasant reminders of the unfortunate reality we face upon finishing our sandwiches. The first time I came here was 9pm on a Tuesday. I was craving some cheesecake and the staff was very pleasant in accommodating me. The cheesecake is very good especially for the price. That can be said for all of the food I've had thus far. Today I got the All stops sandwich (and a slice of cheesecake), which was impeccable. The sandwich was so filling I ended up saving half for later! I'm a pretty large guy so that's unusual but a great surprise for me! The service is fast, place is clean enough to eat off the floor. I was surprised it wasn't busier to be frank. The bathrooms were clean, and there was a newspaper above the toilet from a couple days ago. How cool! Overall epic experience and I will probably be a regular.

In the highest peaks of the Munchie Mountains... Beyond the…read moreValley of Eternal Vapor... Past the Great Bongwater River... Lies a sacred temple spoken of only in late-night smoke circles and whispered among the enlightened: Cheba Hut. A place said to be crafted by the Ancient Toastmasters--mystical beings who forged balance, flavor, and perfect toasted bread at the dawn of the munchie universe. Its walls are etched with hemp-runes. The air vibrates with the scent of destiny, jalapeños, and lightly toasted magic. Inside this hallowed sanctuary, two legendary food-warriors rise whenever a hungry traveler approaches the counter: THE DEATH STAR -- DARK LORD OF FLAVOR Formed in the cosmic smoke between light and shadow, the Death Star is stacked with smoked turkey, salami, bacon, pepper jack, and cream cheese--the five elemental forces of the Stoner Pantheon. Jalapeños explode like tiny meteors. Pickles and onions whisper ancient secrets handed down through generations of late-night snack shamans. The Death Star doesn't simply satisfy your hunger; it bends your entire existence into its orbit. It hits with the gravitational pull of a black hole fueled by toasted bread, forbidden knowledge, and perfect munchie science. THE KALI MIST -- SHAMAN OF SPICE Emerging from the sacred fog that drifts across the Hippie Highlands, the Kali Mist is a creature of balance and enlightenment: roasted turkey, bacon, chipotle mayo, avocado, jalapeños, pepper jack, and crisp veggies standing in alignment like the chakras of a toasted sage. One bite opens your mind. Two bites expand your consciousness. Three bites make you swear you understand the language of houseplants and incense smoke. The Kali Mist is not a sandwich; it is a ceremony. A vision quest wrapped in perfect bread. And so I stand there, a lone wanderer in the Munchie Realms, bearing witness to the eternal struggle of these two herb-blessed titans. The Death Star calls me to the dark side of indulgence. The Kali Mist guides me toward enlightenment and spicy transcendence. I am torn. I am lifted. I am absolutely elevated. Nothing at Cheba Hut is ordinary. Nothing is mid. Every ingredient tastes like it was crafted by stoner monks who toasted bread using the heat of the sun and ground pepper by chanting ancient munchie hymns. I could eat here every single day for the remainder of my earthly journey and consider it a life fulfilled. Cheba Hut isn't a restaurant. It is a ritual. A quest. A toasted religion. All hail the Hut. The legend lives on.

Several years ago, I had my first muffuletta at a sandwich shop in Florida and I thought it was OK, but nothing special. I did not order one from Weinbergers the first several visits because of this and all the other choices we had. My wife and I finally decided to order one to split. The first bite that we took we just looked at each other wide eyed in amazement and said OMG. The reason I decided to write this review is because my wife just texted me and said she is craving a muffuletta. We will probably head there this weekend. We love this place!

Make sure you're prepared when you walk up to the counter-- I thought I was until the dude started rattling off "wet" or "dry" and the list of toppings. I threw up my hands and said "I'm an amateur, this is my first time here!" He slowed it down and walked me through ordering, lol. I went with the Italian beef, dry with the juice on the side. So yummy! I love that it came with a handful of crinkle chips as well. If I was local I'd eat here all the time! The inside is small with a handful of tables and a few extra outside. It was pretty packed on a Friday afternoon!

Portofino's Italian Restaurant Review…read more We made a reservation for 12 on a Sunday and honestly... just hoped for the best... But when we showed up? They were ready for us. And that alone deserves a standing ovation, because let's be real--large groups on a Sunday can turn into absolute chaos. Now multiply that by three groups and toss in kids... yeah. But the staff handled it like pros. Our party of 11 (6 adults, 5 kids, and a baby) was taken care of the entire time, and somehow the whole meal felt smooth, easy, and actually enjoyable. The Food, We came hungry and did not hold back: Bruschetta Lunch (x2): Fresh, garlicky, and piled high with tomatoes and basil on perfectly broiled bread Fried Cheese Sticks (x2): Classic, crispy, and gone in about 30 seconds Kids' Pizzas: Hawaiian + cheese with pepperoni and sausage... zero complaints, which is basically a Michelin star in kid terms Now for the real stars: Portobello Ravioli: This is my go-to and I will not be taking questions. It's rich, earthy, and honestly one of my favorite dishes anywhere. If you like mushrooms even a little... just trust me. Sausage Pepper Parmigiana: Loaded with flavor, hearty, and exactly what you want when you're craving comfort food Chicken Parmigiana: Crispy, cheesy, saucy perfection Kids Spaghetti with Meatballs: Simple, classic, and kid-approved What really made this visit stand out was the service. Managing a group like ours is no small task, and they did it with patience, kindness, and zero stress energy. Drinks stayed filled, food came out timely, and we never felt like "that table." We walked in expecting a bit of chaos and walked out genuinely impressed. Great food, even better service, and a team that can handle a wild mix of adults, kids, and a baby without breaking a sweat. We'll absolutely be back--maybe with fewer people next time... or maybe not
