If you are in the mood for a sub in the southeast, Jersey Mike's is a good option. I distinguish…read morehere in the Southeast, because coming from New Jersey, there are so many better options. Jersey is truly one of the best places to get a sub and since moving to the southeast, I have painfully been forced to accept the fact that the good down here is not the same. But Jersey Mike's brings an idea of what a Jersey sub is and what all subs should be. Meat and cheese freshly sliced and loaded onto a sub roll. From there, you place the veggies on top and oil, vinegar and spices. It really is not a difficult process, yet so few places implement these steps and fall short of a good sub and wallow in mediocrity. I also must applaud Jersey Mike's on their training. Most of the locations are consistent and offer a good sandwich so you can stop at any location and know what you are going to get. All in all, I recommend this particular location. Good subs served by a good team.

Served fresh, made to order, hand sliced meats and cheese right in front of you, veggies sourced locally and melt in your mouth cookies. When they say it's a freshness you can taste, they aren't lying. Notoriously they only accepted cash or check for years, but they have finally ventured out to accept venmo and cash app. There is an ATM inside though if you need it. But do not let this deter you! It's well worth it. Lots of seating inside. During lunch they can have a long line but it moves quick. You also have the option to call your order in ahead. Oh, and any sub can be made into a salad.

I stopped in to grab lunch and decided on a gyro. It took…read moreabout 13 minutes for my food to be ready. The restaurant itself was not terribly busy, but they did have several to-go orders being picked up. I only got a gyro, not a combo. The gyro was good with plenty of tzatziki. (A lot of places skimp on the tzatziki). I was a little concerned there wasn't much meat on the gyro as it looked a bit sparse when I unwrapped it. My first two bites did not have any meat. As I got into the wrap there was enough meat, lettuce, onion, and tomato. Pretty good gyro, although I've had better.
