The place seemed a little busy but it was open seating & it was pretty large. We got drinks & menus pretty quickly but that's where the promptness ended...once we ordered it took about 45 minutes to get our food. I ordered a small pizza with vegan cheese & made one other modification to a standard menu item. My friend ordered a standard menu item with gluten free crust. I also ordered a small house salad with a couple of items removed. Salad came out long before the pizzas. There was also at least one table around us that sat & ordered after us that got their food before us. We had to ask our waitress where our food was & she said it just takes time then a few minutes later she said she would go check on it & it came out very hot shortly after. Once we got our food (at least it was all as ordered), it definitely wasn't worth the wait. We both said our pizza was just bland - lacking a lot of flavor in the sauce & just taste overall (standard red sauce for me, BBQ pizza for my friend). My friend said she'd had better frozen gluten free pizzas and the toppings kept falling off of mine. The atmosphere & decor of this place is fun & quirky and the service was nice & friendly, the food & promptness of everything was just not good. We won't come back here the next time we're in Cañon City, unfortunately.

It's been almost empty every time I go, which I don't mind. The service has always been top notch and very quick. Husband and I ordered the garlic parmesean wings, which I don't know what what they do to them, but always crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly on the inside. We get them every time we go for this reason. I would go just for the wings. The pizzas are great as well and you can't go wrong with any you choose. So far we've had the taco and slopper. Both highly recommend. Our goal is to try every pizza since we can hardly choose just one. Cons: There has to be a con? Not here. We've never had a bad experience and we don't expect to either. Staff is always friendly and welcoming and great food, you really can't find a fault here. Recommended? Absolutely if you want a small family owned pizza and bar. It's not intimate, but small and that's where you get great service. Highly recommend.

Food: 5 stars. Service: 1 star…read more The food here is absolutely delicious! My husband and I got our order to go since we had our dog in the car. This was our second visit--our first was dine-in, and everyone was so friendly. Today we ordered burgers, fries, and some yummy root beer, and the food was just as good as we remembered. I even told my husband that every time we come into town, we should stop here because the food is that good. The reason for my lower rating is the service. I waited in the car, but my husband told me that Tiffany was very unfriendly when he picked up the order. He felt like he was inconveniencing her just by being a customer, which really takes away from the experience. People in customer service should be at least welcoming, and that was missing today. We may return for the food, but not for the service we experienced this time.

When a man at the bar fell over on the floor and was not responding, 911 was called. The lady in charge became very upset about that and said we should notify the bartender first.
