The food was not done correctly rude white guy with glasses called us a liar saying everything was on it and it wasn't and it was cold and dry and plain. Then he threatened us and told us he didn't want us in his restaurant ever again. We have been coming to this restaurant since we were kids. We are now adults and married. This kid has no manners. I have to say that everyone at Ianne's is friendly and solicitous. When I had a sit down meal, the service was quite good. I had the sausage burger which was excellent, and for some reason, their fries are extraordinary. So today I figured it was time to try the pizza. After the Chili festival I got a large (14"....where I grew up that wasn't large) mushroom and sausage pizza. My first impression was the price: $30. Seriously, $30 for a 14" two-topping pie. The same configuration from Papa Murphy's cost $16.50. Tastes vary, right? There's no arguing about taste? Yeah. I don't want to get into religion, but this was not a $30 pie. This was cafeteria pizza. The crust is bland and had a strange chew to it. The texture was off. The bottom of the pie was thick and dense. It was hard enough to chew that there's a sort of breakthrough moment as I bit down--really odd. The sauce didn't have any salient basil or oregano; it was just sort of generic red stuff. The sausage was the best part. Wherever they source their sausage, it's fantastic, but this sausage couldn't carry the whole pie on its shoulders. If I had to guess, I'd say someone skimped on proofing the dough and baked it at too low a temperature. It's hard to say with dough, but something went wrong with it. I saw a previous reviewer say that once in a while you get a bad pie. Well, for $30, that's unacceptable. I'm never buying another Ianne's pie again. For a better meal, pay half the money to Papa Murphy and bake it off yourself. It's much better pizza for half the price--literally half the price. read more

Grew up on Iannes Pizza. Every once in awhile you might get a bad pie . For the most part it's the best pizza I have ever had! I've had pizza in Chicago, New York, D.C. , Miami, Atlanta, Houston(What was I thinking), Pensacola, Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Some pretty good pizza places, Iannes is still the best. My favorite is Sausage, mushrooms, and green chili strips. The crust is insanely good . They also have a pretty good sausage burger. The grinders aren't the same anymore, smaller , and the sausage Patti is thinner, but the sausage burger with cheese (provolone) is pretty m pretty good! Get the double meat if your really hungry. If your really , really hungry get the giant sausage burger , and if you want to commit suicide get the giant double meat with extra provolone burger. If you dine in get the fries and house salad. I like their Italian dressing with blue cheese crumbles. Their chef salad is better when you order the take out, trust me on this one. Order it with the basalmic vinegar dressing with extra blu cheese crumbles. Don't worry they package the dressing separately. It will be more then enough for two. I like two cut up some cucumbers and add some artichoke to mine , but that's just me. The fried chicken and spaghetti is average at best . If you want chicken and spaghetti go a couple blocks south to Pasta Cottage (take out only) . For dine in go to Latronicas . For pizza Iannes is the best ! One quick side note , go for lunch , don't go after dark. It's in Bessemer , where the freaks come out at night, enter at your own risk ! Not like they used to be! Picked up a medium (12") sized with three toppings and paid over $27.00. I asked the cashier if she was kidding with the amount and she replied "Yeah..Everything is going up". Glad I didn't have to feed a family of four it would be $54.00 on two medium pizzas people would have still been hungry. More dissappointing it was cold, dry, with few toppings. Don't go there until they reinstall the old values producing a yummy pizza with a fair price with consist product. Good Luck. I won't be back. I'll spend my money at another joint at half the cost. Walked in the door and stood for a while before kitchen staff asked what we wanted and told us to sit down. All available tables were dirty with food on them so we chose a spot that someone had thought about cleaning and left the rag and previous check on the table. We sat for about 5-10 minutes before asked about our beverages and asked if we were ready to order so we had to ask for menus and told the waiter (who seemed to be on some kind of drug) that we still needed menus. He brought waters after a while then left quickly. I had to move the rag to another table and we sat 10 more minutes waiting to order until we just decided to leave. I used to like the food there but the fly infested, drab establishment has lost my business. I guess I'll be going to Passkey from now on. read more

My family has been getting sausage grinders here (take away) for 40 years. When I visit Pueblo, I usually find a way to grab one before I leave. Super tasty meat, nice cheese, and delicious bread. Personally, I think it's the best grinder in a town filled with great Italian sausage choices. Their pizza is pretty good, 3.5 stars. It's a regular medium crust, kind of traditional Italian family restaurant style. They stay open until 10 pm Sun-Thur, and until midnight on Fri and Sat. That alone makes them a good choice because most of Pueblo shuts down at 9 or even earlier. read more

Best Pizza in town! A long, long time ago, we used to get pizza pies (as my mom calls them) at Ianne's. We'd usually do this when my sister and I were heading to our nana's house for her to babysit us, so my parents could go out to paint the town red. The night would start out with my mom getting dolled up while The Lawrence Welk Show was on the television in the background. My dad would call my aunt who worked at Ianne's to order the pie. We would stop by Ianne's on the way to our nana's house by the steel mill. Our parents would drop us and the pizza off would head out to their dinner dance. :) The night would end with my sister pretending to call 911 on me because I was being such a brat. I guess because it's Peublo Co. somethings don't matter, but they matter to me. So here is a few dislikes first; 1. What is with the front door? I felt like I was going in the back entrance of a grocery store or a warehouse! It is a big huge steel door with a metal push handle. 2. I have seen nursing homes with more charm than this place. Nothing on the walls, no music. All they had was a 13 inch TV sitting crooked on a milk crate??? 3. The order took 45 minutes. On with the review. I really like the grinder. That is dang tasty sausage. The bun was perfect. I could eat those on a regular basis. The pizza was a sausage and green chili pizza. I prefer thin crust. This crust is a regular crust with more of a bread flavor to it. Not my favorite bu still good. Topped with some real good sausage and plenty of peppers. So the pizza was pretty good, just me personally not a fan of that style of pizza. This would be 3 and half star review. I couldn't quite do 4 stars on this. read more

I have never been to this location before and it was quite awkward. The customer service of the restaurant was not as bad as I thought as the server was attentive. The food, however, was not too good. I ate about half of it because I was hungry, but chose not to finish it because it didn't taste super awesome. It felt like I was eating something watered down (salad, spaghetti) and probably should've just tried a regular pizza to see if that made a difference. The price paid didn't match my expectations. I have no idea why my ex thinks place is the most amazing thing every. I think he has more of an emotional tie to it than the food being any good. He also thought that part of the reason it was so good was because of the bread, which I don't eat. The fries are also battered- which is says no where on the menu, and I didn't realize until after eating a few, noticing something different, and asking. I suffered because of it for several days after. Anyway. My Ex thinks the sausage grinder is the most amazing thing. It looked good, smelled good and tasted good. He has his on bread while I ate mine without. I was good, but nothing exceptional and not a reason (for me at least) to drive all the way to Pueblo. It was delicious as a meal on the way through however. I will say- I absolutely loved how the wait staff/kitchen staff knew everyone that came in (except us). They were very friendly, and know their regulars, and they have regulars! That speaks volumes to a place's success. I'm glad for the experience, even if I was sick. read more

We stumbled across this place while driving through town and decided to stop in. We chose to dine in so went down and found a nice table (also had booths). The wait staff was friendly and had no errors in our order. We ordered the small spaghetti plate and it was HUGE! So was the fried chicken plate. We had to get a to-go box! The ONLY reason there is even one star is the waitress was nice. I sit here an hour after ordering with NO FOOD. Half the table got theirs, half hasn't. REALLY? You bring out some food but not all. If you leave this place hungry, there's something wrong. Portions are always huge - I usually order the large spaghetti and I rarely eat the entire plate. I'm not as big as others are on their pizza, but they have a great variety of pasta and sandwiches to choose from. The place is a hole in the wall, but it's well-kept and service is always speedy.
