Ordered 8 piece chicken, two garden salads, and potato wedges to go. It has been almost 30 minutes and we still do not to have our food. Please note this is a buffet that serves chicken and wedges in their buffet. Not sure what would possibly take 30 minutes. On top of that I just witnessed an employee come from the back with a raw pizza dough crust in their hands. Trying to support local but the long wait mixed with the questionable sanitary practices. Will never be back. Also did not ask if veteran status but asked others. My man is a veteran. Pretty sad for a place that claims to glorify God positively impacting the world. Should have gone to KFC. Another cashier took over the counter and finally asked for a status. The food was done. Had been done long enough to soak grease spots through the boxes. We sat there long enough for people we saw come to eat leave. Should have checked the boxes before we left but were ready to get home. Got it home and there is a big piece torn off one of the breast. No way do I feel comfortable eating this food. Solidifying to never eat here again and advise my employer to stop any future bulk orders. No way to run a business. read more

I'm a fan of buffets, so being a vegan coming to Pizza Ranch has its pros and cons. I appreciate what they have to offer with the salad bar and mashed potatoes and potato wedges, some fruit and beverages. I also appreciated the service and the young lady taking our order also told me they can custom make pizzas according to my preferences. Upon her recommendation I got a vegetable pizza without the cheese. Came in a small size but still, it was good. I loved the softness and quality of the crust. They had so many options of pizza that they offered which looked delectable and they were unlimited, all you can eat, but not for me. As a vegan at least they had my custom pizza that they could veganize for me which was pretty good. I would come here again and bring my kids. They had a game room and arcades here as well and it's a great place for families. read more

The arcade was a huge hit with the kids, and I loved that we could easily watch them from our table with the tvs. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Perfect spot for family fun! read more

I think it's best to go here when it's busy, and not for lunch during the week. I can imagine the pizza is much fresher when it's busier. Or if you have time to spare you could go for lunch if you don't mind waiting for them to put items out. I noticed today that the pizza wasn't hot if it wasn't fresh. I didn't mention to an employee that they might want to take a look at the heat lamp they use, but should have. My husband and I have been to this resturant several times and we always enjoyed it until 7 May 2026 at around 3pm when we were at the counter to pay for our meal. I told the woman taking our order that we had a military discount for me and an old fart discount for my husband. Just a side note: at the resturant everything is on camera and recorded....play it back, dont care. So she mentioned and senior discount for me and I said I was 56....do they give discounts for 56?? She said we do for 65. I looked at my husband and finished paying and said wow...that was rude. My husband looked at her and said, though you may be young and pretty your time of wrinkling, will come. A few moments later the manager came barreling over to us at the salad bar got in my husbands face and said we were rude to her staff and demanded he apologize to her. I said to her before you start that nonsense she should get the whole story and I told her what happened. The manager said that her employee was trying to give me a better discount. The conversation circled back around. I told her I wanted to talk to the manager, she said I am the namager, then I said we want to talk to your boss. She refused to give the phone number of her boss to us. I asked for a refund so we could leave....she refused that and I told her twice to piss off. She said that was not very nice to say in her resturant. I should have said it louder so the people in the back of the resturant could hear. It's unclear from where Pizza Ranch derives its name, though my best guess is from the gentle sloping plains of Emilia-Romana, where meat herders known locally as "Giuseppes" tamed the once huge numbers of wild pepperoni. This translates into the hands of minimum wage craftsman some of the most meh pizza you've ever encountered. It's truly unremarkable. But you can eat SO MUCH of it for a pretty reasonable price. One of the best things to do a Pizza Ranch is people watch. The vocal stylings of artists such as Michael W. Smith, Jars of Clay, and the Seventeenth Avenue Praise Tabernacle, along with a desire to feed America's obesity epidemic draws in many of the local clientele who emerge from their trailers to have deep discussions on things like foreign policy (Benghazi!), gender roles (Hilary!), and why it's ok for politicians to autograph Christian bibles. Moving on, Pizza Ranch offers fried chicken that (and I swear I'm not making this up) is legitimately good. Look around at the patrons. They eat A LOT of it. (Adult stroller sales are probably booming on the Front Range.) But that's not all. They have mashed potatoes and I swear they're amazing and folks I am from the South. I scheduled a fun zone birthday party party here today for my 11 yr old grandson. What a chaotic mess. 1st thing I was told was I couldn't have a private room as our party was under 25 ppl. I didn't expect a private room as I already knew it was in the main dining area. I said ok, I planned this with Jonathan, I don't know were he put us. Nobody showed us to the table just told me to look for the reserved one. We find a table that said reserved, no table cloth, plates or any party stuff I was expecting so I went back up and asked them what was going on. They brought out a table cloth , to put on the table we already had presents and the cake sitting on. Cleared everything off, got the tablecloth on then was told we were at the wrong table and had to move to a private room and then we got pizza that was undercooked. It was crazy. read more

I hate to do this, but when it takes over an hour from the promised time of the food delivery to get to the house, it is unacceptable. Actually, it is one hour and 15 minutes after the promised time. I had to call and ask where my food is, got told it was enroute, while in fact it has not been picked up at all. Didn't want to cancel as I would get the food for free according to the worker that answered the phone. Not a good way to do business. What a waste of time and money. Now I recall why we stopped eating at Pizza Ranch. So I received an email notification that Pizza Ranch added $5.00 to our card for my birthday. We tried to redeem and they said it did not exist, even though I took a copy of the email sent. We were already there so we decided to eat anyway. This is what we received for $17.99 each. 1. Salad bar was completely depleted. Not even enough left to make a salad. Waited for the salad bar to be restocked. 20 minutes we waited. 2. There were approximately 6 pieces of greasy fried chicken thighs. Again we waited for it to be restocked. Waited another 15 minutes. 3. Mashed potatoes: There were none. Still waiting 4. Biscuits were replenished. 4. Pizza selection was just awful. We watched people looking at the selection and walking away. We did the same. 5. They did replenish dessert but we were hungry for dinner not junk food. When Pizza Ranch originally opened they offered great food. Now, not so much or none at all. Save your money folks. Never thought I would advise this but you will get better pizza at Dominos! read more

The pizzas are all good. Some creative. Mostly fresh within, say, 20 minutes. The salad bar has good variety. The 'dessert pizzas' are not particularly creative and mildly unsatisfying. A lot of folks pass by the pizzas and fo for the hot good buffet. It features fried chicked and the expected sides of mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. I've heard from more than one source that their fried chicken is the best in town. Decor is spartan with kinda hokey 'western' theme wall decorations. Clean and well staffed. It's not a large buffet nor would it appeal to more adventurous eaters but I will say that the food and service were decent and most likely the kind of place you would want to take your young children for pizza, pasta and video games. Allergy Alert: Pizza Ranch in Pueblo has tree nuts in a salad option in their salad bar. When I contacted the local store by phone (because there is no email option for any level of contact with this chain restaurant) I was told by an irritated sounding young man that the corporation is not going to take that salad off the menu because one person in Pueblo complained. He thought it was enough to have an allergy warning on the salad bar. (I have never seen a salad bar where the contents of one bin haven't been spilled off into another bin, which means that the entire salad bar is now off limits for me.) When I see a restaurant that doesn't take deadly allergens seriously, I also assume that they are not too worried about cross-contamination in the kitchen. Approximately 3.9 million people in the US are allergic to tree nuts. It is not an allergy that causes a little tummy ache or sneezing. Tree nut allergies are deadly. read more

This was our second time at Pizza Ranch for their Lunch Buffet. The fried chicken was good and the pizza was better than the last time. I found out that they make three kinds of pizza dough, thin, regular and thick. The fresh thick dough white pizza was delicious. The bread sticks were very good and I used some of the pasta's marinara sauce for dipping. Unfortunately, a note on the door stated that they will be closed until further notice on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday due to the government caused labor shortage. What a shame. I generally like this place, but there are some downs about it. For example, the pizza is kinda stale, and the only time they restock is when you ask. But, the chicken is really good, I really recommend it. The costumer service isn't bad at all. All you have to do, is just tell them how much people are eating, then they will seat you where ever you want and get as much food as possible. With all you can eat pizza, I really like this place. There are about 6 different types of pizza. My favorite was the barbecue sauce pizza because the sauce added a sweet dimension of flavor to the pizza. However, the other 5 pizzas were not too different from each other. The last time we went this place was disgustingly dirty. Like the worst filth I'd ever seen in a restaurant. If we had seen the mess before we paid, we would not have eaten here. Workers were kind of trying to clean, but didn't seem to have any serious concerns. The vacuum didn't seem to be working. But the pizza crusts, whole pickles, napkins, etc. couldn't be picked up with a vacuum anyway. It was hard to find a semi clean place to even sit to eat. We loved it here. It's kind of a happy place for people who love to eat. The service was friendly. The fried chicken was surprisingly yummy. I loved that you got to choose a pizza for them to make fresh for you and then they bring it to your table and you can choose how many slices you want, and then they add it to the buffet- then you get your favorite fresh and hot! And then there are SO MANY OPTIONS of pizza on the buffet. There are different kinds of bread sticks, sauces, (even sauces for the chicken which my husband loved) and mashed potatoes and gravy. I think there was a regular salad bar too but I may have skipped that to enjoy my pizza and chicken. :) There are dessert options and vanilla ice cream too. My favorite pizzas were the chicken bacon ranch and the sweet swine (diced ham and pineapple). There are three choices of crust and usually I'm a thin crust girl but I actually preferred their thick soft crust the best. Pizza Ranch advertises how it is owned by veterans and they honor veterans. For five years I have had to go to get carry out pizzas there because they don't come to my street but I always got a military discount. Tonight I was refused the military discount and told that only if I came in and ate there could I get a military discount. I don't think this honors veterans. read more

The restaurant was clean and other than the other guests that had kids and allowed them to run around and go up to the salad bar and pizza bar by them Themselves touching everything. making anything from the bar disgusting. I brought a baseball team to this location. As we arrived it was pretty busy. The staff was very accomodating and had no issues with the larger group. Mashed potatoes with gravy, a vegetable, potato wedges, a salad bar with a soup of the day. And of course, pizza. For desert, apple or blueberry strudel, a chocolate chip cookie crumble, and ice cream ( although on my visit, the machine was broken.) A variety of sodas, coffee, and ice tea to drink. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they give senior discounts. If you like a buffet but don't need endless choices, this is the place to go. Just enough food for a satisfying meal. We drive up from Colorado Springs weekly to go to Pizza ranch. It is by far one of our very favorite restaurants However, we were there on Sunday the 19th. It started out bad from the minute we walked in. We got our plates but there was no mashed potatoes, green beans and there was no stuffing. There was no soup, only soup broth. There was no silverware except knives and the silverware was out for at least 45 minutes. I can't imagine eating the soup broth with a knife. They kept saying more was on the way out including both silverware and food however that didn't happen. The salad bar was not up to par either. There were no eggs no tomatoes and a couple of other things were out as well and weren't back on there for the entire time we were at the restaurant. No one removed our plates until 5 minutes before it was time to leave. We still had several plates because there were four of us, but for the most part we had to only eat things that you can eat with your hands. This is normally an excellent restaurant and I feel very bad that this visit was so disheartening. I sure hope this isn't the start of this restaurant going down the tubes like many of them have. read more

Good pizza, friendly workers, spacious, reasonably priced. There is something for everyone here. Surprisingly good variety in pizza and salad options. I was asked for any special requests for pizza when I entered. The pizza isn't marina sauce heavy, but marinara is offered on the side. The southern food bar offers plenty of artery clogging options that your grandparents would love. The soda machine is self serve as well, so no need to leave a tip! The food area, seating area, and bathroom were all quite clean. Especially for buffet standards. Christian music plays most of the time, if that bodes well for you. The value is fair, but all the more so if you can tank up for two meals. Hooray! Great job, Pizza Ranch. It's 5:09 pm, dinner hour. Here's a picture of the empty chicken pan. Not only is there no chicken available, after a customer walked into the kitchen to ask for chicken, a unconcerned "cook" stuck his head out to say there won't be any chicken for at least 8 minutes. Which means he just put it in the pressure fryer. Dirty tables, old food on all bars. No management un sight. I get that you can get caught behind the 8 ball occasionally, but management should be in the Dining Room handling customer frustration. Clearly, that's not a priority so it's not worth another visit in my opinion. read more

Wow!  This is our new favorite place to eat in Pueblo!  All the employees were over the top friendly. Pizza was delicious and the fried chicken was the best I've ever had - moist and flavorful.  But that chocolate chip cookie pizza was the BEST!  Topped everything off with a little cup of soft serve ice cream before I waddled out.  Everything I had was fantastic!  Bonus - Didn't even realize seniors eat for $10 each on Wednesdays. read more

Placed order over the phone @ 11:05 right after they had opened & felt like I was trying to call a government office with the recording they keep u on hold with. I waited a little over 5 minutes to talk to an actual person . When finally getting my cactus bread it was actually delicious. I did also have a taco salad which I wouldn't recommend.
