Took several minutes for the owner/family member to come to the table, to take our drink order. Then again, it took "several" more minutes for him to come back to take our order. In the meantime he took the table behind us order before us. Gave me lots of time to read all of the reviews on Yelp... mostly complaining about the time it took to order food, as well as lack of flavor for the dishes. I tried to keep an open mind...but the longer it took to get our food the more I felt that the food was going to be disappointing. The overall consensus is that since it is the only Thai place on that area, this is why they are busy, BUT the food lacks traditional Thai flavors and the pad se ew is not worth ordering AT ALL! They doused it with sesame oil and that is not a traditional dish flavor at all for this dish. The fried rice was just ok. The eggplant special dish was the only good dish. However, the brown sauce for that dish should have been the flavor of the pad se ew! Clean restroom, mostly clean restaurant. But no need to return...we will stick to our favorite Thai place.
