These additions make the Barking Coyote more of a destination to eat at instead of just a "grab and go" place. Both inside and outside seating seemed to provide a serene setting . Their chicken salad, sold in two sizes, is excellent and was the main reason I stopped by. They have a rotating weekly menu of artisan sandwiches which can be found on their FB page.

The hush puppies and French fries were NOT greasy or rancid smelling.. Texas toast was even better with the HONEY BUTTER applied. The cole slaw could have been a little more sweeter but was good . And the collards were not spicy . It had a little TING but for me was fine as spice and i don't get along . Axex (the owner) stopped by our table with a desert sample from the "PHOTO SHOOT" going on . Ice cream with red syrup and cake. I would stop in just for the desert only...gosh was that good . The service also goes from friendly and professional one visit to they hate their job the next. How do you rate that kind of business?

They have a great Hot Fudge Cake. There are video games in the one dining room so something for kids to do if you're willing to give them a dollar or two to blow while you wait.
