SMALLEST SALAD EVER - AND THE DELIVERY GUY'S AMAZING, THE MANAGER JOSH - WILL CALL YOU EVERYTHING BUT MA'AM OR SIR - PER HIS MISTAKES.
    Shannon L.

i ordered a couple of day's ago, 52.oo worth of food. all of the places i order from know my situation, i'm a hospice patient, doing well - but i have brain damage from a blood clot. placed my order with josh, the mgr - waited 2hrs - mind you i'm calling in between time - phones constantly busy. and he never called me. so i finally get through to him - he says i didn't finish the order (????) i had my total - you need dna.. then he said you didn't say delivery, i said yes i did, and as a matter of fact - you said we'll have it to you in about 30 minutes... we all know, if you're gonna lie - be a good one. and stop talking to your good customers like dogs. i spend well, and i tip well.. perhaps you need a vacation josh.. so management gets o stars - delivery amazing!!

The pizza arrived on time, it was the most tasteless sauce and pizza I ever had. Papa Johns rocks compared to this place.

We ordered from Fat Dough tonight for the first time, using their online ordering portal…read more In selecting toppings, there is a choice for "olives". I selected this - and then in the special instructions sections I specified "if olives are canned black olives please leave them off". Enter the most delicious looking pizza covered in run of the mill black olives. So I returned to the checkout and questioned "what kind of olives are these". The check out clerk said "he said they were from a jar not a can" I pressed, as I've just paid $33 for a pizza. The cook came out of the kitchen to argue with me that jarred olives are not canned olives. I said, "That's a pretty ignorant thing to say." (I suppose he has never canned anything in his life.) He became highly offended and yelled "did you just call me ignorant" - to which I said "It is ignorance not to know that jarred olives are the same as canned olives." Solution options: The menu could be specific (green, kalamata, black, etc.) He could have compensated me for the incorrect pizza. He could have offered to make the pizza again. He could have been calm and apologetic at the beginning of the transaction. None of these options were on the table. It's a shame, since the pizza was delicious. But half my family cannot eat black olives. So, I wonder - do you think that a cook of a pizza joint founded on "recovery principles" that stamps bible verses all over their boxes loses their cool, and follows you out of the building - - do you think that you'd go back no matter how good the pizza was? I'm still not sure. The New Albanian Pizza and Public House is a bit of a drive from Corydon, but it's better and the servers have never one time argued with me. Evidentiary photos provided. Good luck, Fat Dough.

Menu looked…read moregreat, such a fun concept with games for the kids to play, which our kiddo really enjoyed, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the pizza was.. terrible. I love a thick crust, but because of the thickness of the crust and trying to get it cooked through, the outside ends up very burnt, and the "cheesy breadsticks" barely had any cheese, and weren't particularly tasty. When your five year old doesn't want to eat pizza, you know you've gone amiss. The concept is great, and I appreciated the thoughtfulness in pairing of ingredients, but the ratio of cheese/sauce/dough was off for me, and even as someone who likes a little carbon, it was far too burnt to enjoy. I would give it another chance, but every picture I see, the pizza looks the same, and that's a hard pass.

Awful customer service. We live in a small town, ordered Papa John's this evening. Very simple…read moreorder...cheese pizza, breadsticks, and a brownie. $5.49 delivery fee, PJ's page notes that this fee does not go to the delivery driver. OK, so $5 tip, that's a total of $10.49 delivery, small town, ten minutes away. That's fine, whatever, but $10.49 delivery should at least come with the correct order or, at the least, a professional effort to rectify any errors in an order. So, 35 minutes later, the order arrives. No brownie. The thing is, the brownie for the kids is precisely why we chose PJ's in the first place. I call the store to let them know that we are missing 1/3rd of our simple order. The manager solution? Get this..."you can drive to the store and pick up the brownie or we can refund the cost". Really? Those are the options?? How about I get in the car, spend the time and 20-30 minutes round trip and pick up the brownie? How about I drive in, pick up the rest of our order, and you guys refund the cost for my time and gas and the fact that dinner is already here otherwise? Seemed the appropriate, professional, obvious thing to do. The manager..."I can't give you a free brownie". A "free" brownie? The guy actually said a "free" brownie!! I explained that nothing was free, we placed an order, 1/3rd of it is missing, you want me to wait on dinner and drive to the store and then charge me full-price because you guys can't get a three-item order correct? Since that fell on deaf ears, I then suggested that we just go ahead and have the brownie that I already ordered and paid for delivered to our address?? "We don't have any drivers available right now". This is a no-brainer, really. Be professional. I am driving to the store, passing on eating, picking up an already-cooked brownie and you think the professional thing to do is charge full-price for a brownie? Horrible customer service and professionalism.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at El Nopal - Corydon, IN…read more We've been loyal customers of El Nopal for over 25 years, visiting our previous location at least twice a week. The service and food have always been excellent, and any small issue was handled quickly and professionally. Unfortunately, our recent visit to the Corydon location was the complete opposite of what we've come to expect. We were seated quickly, but it took about 10 minutes before anyone came by to greet us or take our drink order. Interestingly, that person wasn't even our server but someone temporarily helping out from another El Nopal location that recently closed due to a fire. After our drinks arrived, we ordered our meals. Then we waited--and waited. Tables around us received their food, finished eating, and were reseated with new customers who also received their food promptly. Meanwhile, we still hadn't been served. Diners nearby even commented that they had waited an hour and a half for their food as well. When our meals finally came, mine arrived first, but my companion's took another 10-15 minutes. To make matters worse, the utensils we were given had visible food particles stuck to them. When I finally located a hostess (since our server was nowhere to be found), she brought us clean utensils--but my companion's were also dirty and had to be replaced again. By the time we finished, we were extremely disappointed. At checkout, I asked to speak with a manager to share our concerns, but the person I spoke to claimed to be the manager and said he couldn't understand my English. After years of being devoted customers, this was a truly disheartening experience. We hope management at this location takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the quality of service and cleanliness so that it matches the high standards we've always known and loved from El Nopal.
