The layout has changed a lot over the years, but mostly cosmetic changes, but the menu hasn't varied much. The main reason for our visit is the buffet, for a freshly made pizza and a decent choice (vegetarians should look for the green handles). There's even a salad bar to add your own toppings or to have as a starter/side. They also have a Pepsi drinks dispenser where you can choose your own flavour of Pepsi, 7Up, tango etc (or if your adventurous try mixing the flavours) and I think they still have an ice creme machine for kids. For work lunches it's great as you don't have to wait around, just grab a plate, a glass and get stuck in. Staff have changed a lot over the years but they are usually professional and accommodating even if you have people in your party that are a bit more picky.

Their offers include buy one pizza get one half price, a medium pizza and 2 sides for £12.99 and 2 large pizzas and 2 sides for £20.99. They also stock Ben & Jerrys tubs here and I've been known to get myself a little tub of strawberry cheesecake from time to time. I was ecstatic a few months ago when I got a letter through my door informing me that my street was Pizza Huts "Street of The Week" and we would be able to order a medium sized pizza of our choice... absolutely free! Can you believe it? If you wanted to make it large all you needed to do was pay £2. A large Pizza Hut pizza for £2! Yes please! When I called to place my order I was worried in case it was some kind of hoax - it seemed too good to be true. I myself prefer to order my pizza online via the iPhone app and I can honestly say it's never an issue with a great deal wizard at the end to help you save some extra pennies and when the pizza is in the oven you can see it through to the end if you're ordering in shop or when it is out for delivery if ordering via the app or Internet and 9 times out of 10 the food is with you in under 30 mins. They even made a late delivery a good experience for me; because they were running late back at the shop I ended up with an extra large pizza, so that's 2 pizzas for the price of one and it wasn't even on a two for Tuesday offer. My only negative is the price because if you were to go to the supermarket it is nearly half the price for the same kind of pizza but in my eyes it is definitely worth the treat.

We tried the branch in Princes Square first, but with over an hour to wait with a hungry kid we opted to visit this branch just off George Square. We had to wait about 15 mins on this busy Saturday night, and we have a sneaking suspicion the kind, but slightly too enthusiastic waitress might have given us a table quicker due to the tired child and the harassed look the adults were sporting. My friend opted for to go for the £6.50 piccolo menu for her daughter which consisted of a starter of dough balls, followed by a choice of pizza or pasta dish, a choice of dessert either ice cream or chocolate cake/brownie and a Bambinoccino (basically a frothy milk with chocolate). This proved great value and was devoured without much complaint. We both opted for the Leggera Pizzas - lighter pizzas with a salad in the middle. I went for the Goats Cheese which was sweet with lovely caramelised onions and spinach, whilst my friend opted for a chicken version. These were really tasty despite being lower in calories than a lot of pizzas and I think theres a real potential for restaurants to make some dishes slightly healthier, or more moderate portions catering for more health conscious eaters. To finish my friend went for a black coffee and I tagged on a mini dolcetti chocolate gluten free brownie which was rich and ganache like and just enough to end the meal. Prices are as you would expect, about £10 for a pizza, £5 for dessert - not the cheapest by any means but the food was fairly good quality. Our waitress was lovely and very friendly although we did find the service particularly slow, but I think on this particular night the restaurant was particularly busy. However, I would say though that I much prefer the Princes Square branch.
