Without being tough, they're just a tad more robust so they don't get soggy over time. It's a perfect match. The sides are a bit small, but adequate and the flavors were good. The black beans are labeled as Cajun, but I found them typically Latin flavored. Seating is modern with concrete floors and glass frontage, while the table tops are rustic wood. While awaiting our food, one of the employees started yelling politics at the TV which was located behind us. At this point, I'd had enough of his juvenile behavior and called him out on his statement and added that we came for lunch and not his political ranting. At this point he shut up, wisely. As for the food, average. They charge a surcharge for using a credit card and also the prices charged did not match the published prices on the menu, to their benefit of course. That's dishonest.
