The decor looks a bit fast foodish, perhaps without the plastic chairs. Service was friendly but our server seemed pretty new to the job. We had to flag her down to both take our order and to pay, even though both times she was just standing behind the counter. Looked like some staff were being trained but our server was doing the training. The menu is quite interesting. Lots of home cooked meal type items like my chicken pot pie or prime rib. Add in some Canadian favourites like burgers, pizza, chicken wings and sandwiches, with Butter Chicken or Asian Fried Cauliflower to mix it up. My jerk chicken was really good. Dishes headed to other tables also looked delicious. I will definitely try it again, depending on what kind of food I'm looking for. I feel like there might be better choices for things like prime rib, but this menu could be a good compromise for broad interests

I've mentioned here before that I'm not a huge fan of hot subs. But, EoS has won me over. The Holiday Turkey Sandwich gets reviews as "the best sandwich I ever had" online so I wanted to try it. I make a mean turkey leftover sandwich so the first day I thought it was "ok". But the 2nd day I heated the other half up, and it had me SINGING. The sando's are tightly wrapped in paper and foil so they arrived in perfect shape even for take-out (delivery) across the city. I generally upgrade to "double meat" and eat half a sandwich at a time. I can't wait to try more varieties and definitely sink my teeth into another 1762.

Staff are super friendly and have recommended 10/10 sandos every time. Sandwiches are LARGE. So don't come alone so you can try more than one. My favorite is hands down the chicken Caesar.
