We had to flag her down to both take our order and to pay, even though both times she was just standing behind the counter. Looked like some staff were being trained but our server was doing the training. The menu is quite interesting. Lots of home cooked meal type items like my chicken pot pie or prime rib. Add in some Canadian favourites like burgers, pizza, chicken wings and sandwiches, with Butter Chicken or Asian Fried Cauliflower to mix it up. My jerk chicken was really good. Dishes headed to other tables also looked delicious. I will definitely try it again, depending on what kind of food I'm looking for. I feel like there might be better choices for things like prime rib, but this menu could be a good compromise for broad interests

I make a mean turkey leftover sandwich so the first day I thought it was "ok". But the 2nd day I heated the other half up, and it had me SINGING. The sando's are tightly wrapped in paper and foil so they arrived in perfect shape even for take-out (delivery) across the city. I generally upgrade to "double meat" and eat half a sandwich at a time. I can't wait to try more varieties and definitely sink my teeth into another 1762.

We came to the store to order. and you know the service is top notch. The owner is very friendly and there is a warm ambiance about the place. On to the food, My brother order a chicken parm subs and say his sub was excellent as always. I ended up getting two subs. One was the meatball sub which was exceptional. The meatballs were well seasoned and were larger than my mom made when she was alive. the buns were toasted to perfection crunchy but not burnt. They had just enough sauce and cheese to compliment the sub but not overpower it . i also got a turkey pesto sub which had a lot of meat and cheese. Slightly spicy, super moist meatballs, slightly sweet marinara, and perfectly paired with bitterness of the rapini. Don't forget the cheese pull! We also grabbed the classic Italian deli, which was scrumptious and very filling. You can't go wrong with either option, in my opinion.

He also seemed to be mocking my age but I couldn't really understand. A very unusual and unnerving experience being theeatened by the Peppinos sandwich maker outside of the store in the parking lot. A sandwich takes all of two minutes to make, but apparently 10 minutes before close is too late. I suggest Peppinos instruct employees that threatening customers is not good for business and perhaps speak to this individual about threatening customers and confronting customers outside of the business, and adjust hours so someone else doesn't get disappointed.
