That slowly stretched into more like 15 to 20 minutes, but when two seats opened up at the bar, we made a quick executive decision and grabbed them. The bartender checked in fairly quickly, despite being clearly slammed. Once we had their attention, we ordered right away to keep things moving. I went with the classic burger, upgraded with lettuce, mushrooms, grilled onions, and a side of fries, ordered medium. Jeff went with the Smothered Chicken. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and everything hit the bar hot. The burger leaned a little more medium-rare than medium, which honestly worked in my favor. Good flavor, solid burger. The fries were hot and crispy, exactly how I wanted them after a day of travel and packet pickup. No complaints from either of us. Portions were solid, and the prices felt fair for what you get. The only real downside was that initial wait. There isn't much of an entryway to hang out in, and with the cold weather outside, that part wasn't exactly comfortable. That said, the staff was friendly, the service was solid, and the overall experience was a win. Would I go back if I'm in the area again? Yep. The menu had a few other things that caught my eye, and I'd happily give them a shot next time.

Both of my recent visits have been for free Frosty Jr coupons my kids received as a Halloween gift. My first visit was a solid twenty minute wait during lunch hour. My second visit on a late Thursday around 4pm was fifteen minute wait in the drive-thru. During the first visit we had terrible customer service. The person taking our order clearly hated her job and wasn't afraid to show it. During our second visit the person taking our order was friendly, but instead of handing the Jr Frosty's to me individually or in a drink holder they just dropped them all into a bag and just gave it to me. I'm happy I took them out of the bag right away or they would have leaked all over my car. I didn't expect both of my visits to be this bad. If I visit Wendy's again I plan on visiting another location. So frustrating!
