Wanted a simple dinner tonight just a couple slices or something. Went to Dominic's it was very busy but they were super friendly and helped us within 6 minutes. The food was out to us within 10 minutes it was hot and very fresh. High recommend them for simple flavorful dinners. read more

I got the spiedie sub. It was served piping hot and it was huge. Those are the nicest things i can say. The sandwich contents (buffalo chicken w/ blue cheese) was fine. Nothing special but filling and good comfort food. But the roll- it's forgettable and a sub like this really relies on good bread. So, I recommend this place - just lower expectations. It's the best place to eat in this tiny crummy upstate NY town. I give them 3 stars for sub and 5 stars for service. The staff there was friendly and while all young dudes, seemed to enjoy their job and were very helpful. So, 4 stars overall. read more

I had a retirement party this weekend for my husband. Wings is one of his favorite finger foods. The person doing the food prep for me doesn't do wings, but she recommended Dominic's. She lives near there and would pick up my order, as we were holding the event about 15+ miles away -- saved my "committee" a trip on a busy morning. Dominic's had ready on time my order of 300 jumbo wings, half mild and half medium, along with celery and blue cheese dressing. Those wings received a lot of compliments yesterday. I hardly had any left to enjoy at my leisure. Overall, the whole process from initial contact to order pick-up went smoothly. If I had a need again -- or someone else I know does -- I would recommend Dominic's. read more

Hands down, the best restaurant in Whitney Point. My wife and I are building a home in the area and have eaten here several times over the last year. Our favorites include the lasagna, stromboli, calzone and their fish sandwich. Really, really good food, generous portions, very reasonable prices and great service on top of all that. read more

The guys that work here are the absolute best. They are kind, extremely accommodating and you can be in and out in 3 minutes without calling ahead. Many pizza and roll options to choose from. If you're driving by on your travels through central New York, definitely stop here! Cold subs, pizza, paninis and a chicken spiedie pizza roll that is seriously to die for, it comes with an amazing House Marinara sauce too. The roast beef was super tender and the sub was chuck full of meat and the sub sauce was tart and perfectly spiced. The Italian sub was rated in the top five of any ever eaten, including on Long Island! The quick service time was appreciated and a dedicated team was evident when I picked up my order. The pizza was only half decent, not as good as an NYC pizzeria. And the garlic knots were partially uncooked. But one guy working the oven, who I think is the owner, was quite rude. My family was bringing my handicapped grandfather in through the front door in a wheelchair and this guy yelled at us because we were holding the door, letting in hot air and making his poor AC unit work more. Came here driving through New York in the mood for some pizza and found this place by chance off of 81. The guy working there that day was very friendly, walking us through the menu and making suggestions as needed. We ended up ordering the half sheet pizza with onions and peppers. The pizza itself was perfect, the crust was a combination of crunchy and chewy topped with some amazing marinara sauce, gooey cheese, and crisp veggies. Was only able to eat a slice or two but kept the rest for later. Very happy with our stop here. read more

Found ourselves stranded in Whitney Point during a baseball rainout. Happened upon Dominic's as we're familiar with the sit down restaurant next door. We ordered 2 Stromboli 's and a slice. Great service, pizza good... but the chic speedie Stromboli was delicious! What a great twist on the upstate classic. Friendly, very local, and we even got a fancy fidget toy to boot! read more

I've had Dominic's pizza, garlic knots and various pizza rolls and found all of them to be consistently very good. As someone with two grown kids in the city, my opinion is that in today's world, NYC pizza is not all that it's cracked up to be, with many mediocre pies to be had and a price tag of $3 or more a slice. Not saying that there isn't superlative pizza to be had in the Big Apple or that Dominic's is better, but again, they make a very, very good pie, and the pie isn't $30. The restaurant is clean, your typical, fairly run down, small town upstate pizza parlor. Okay for a quick lunch but not so much for a nice dinner. There are plenty of tables, but my typical vote would be for take out. But hey, at least it's not in a gas station. While I understand that the previous reviewer rating reflected some discourtesy towards his Uncle, that hasn't been my experience . Service there for me has been quick and courteous. I don't know if you've noticed but Donald Trump is actually our President. So if polite service is important to you, you might want to move to Canada, but I don't think their pizza is as good as ours. read more

For a small town this pizza place has got it going on. The prices are average of local pizza joints. The pizza and wings were fantastic and flavorful! The crust wasn't too thick or thin, nor was it over or under cooked. The sauce was flavorful, not bland overbearing or weird, and cheese was perfect. I've been driving through Whitney Pt several times a year for over 20 years, to get on Rt 81 from Ithaca, and regrettably never noticed Dominic's until I stopped at the Speedway gas station (across from Aiello's Restaurant) on my last trip. From there you can see Dominic's tucked a bit in on Collin's St, behind Aiello's, just seconds from the Rt 79/26/11 access road to Rt 81. I stopped there around 8pm on a Sunday night, having earlier had a yucky pizza from a Blaze Pizza chain restaurant on my drive back home to Ithaca. I was hoping to get something closer to real pizza from this small-town pizzeria. I just ordered a single slice of pepperoni pizza, reheated. That's not my favorite topping by any means, but it was all they had besides plain cheese. It was great! The sauce, cheese, and pepperoni were all good quality. But it was the crust that really impressed me--thin, but with a nice flakiness to it, and just crispy enough. I'll definitely make Dominic's a stop on future trips--and I'll get more than one slice next time! read more
