Upon arrival as first-timers, we were greeted by the staff and got a table inside the main dining room evoking modern Italy with an open kitchen, brick walls, chic red and black accents, and ambient electro music. Weather permitting, their loft-style garage door opens to the sidewalk for outdoors dining. Their menu features their specialties ... meatballs with both coal-fired and Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas as well as other traditional Italian recipes, which are fairly extensive. We decided on the Fettuccine Tartufo and a small Coal Fired Millie's Meatball Parmesan Pie. The food took some time, but we knew they were made with the finest ingredients and were absolutely delicious. The pizza was made from scratch, loaded with decent meatball slices, and had the right consistency where the crust was crispy and not burnt. Each dish on every table looked fantastic. We saved some room for dessert and shared their homemade Tres Leches cake. It was light, moist, and just the right level of sweetness. A little pricey across the board, but one can tell everything was made fresh. Our server was very pleasant. A perfect ending to an outstanding dinner, and our bellies approved.
