I REALLY liked their Grandma Pie -- their sauce is great, fresh mozzarella, perfect amount of garlic, love the shredded basil (minor thing, but I hate when pizza places don't shred their basil -- I didn't order a salad! :)) I didn't try the plain slices pictured, but my fiancé said they were good. The guys inside were friendly, and there's ample parking spots around the side and back of the building, which I also appreciate. I ordered ahead on Slice, and my order was ready right at the very beginning of my pickup window despite them obviously being busy on a Friday night. All in all, a good experience -- the only reason for the four stars is the price. The plain slices are $3 apiece, which is standard, but it's almost criminal to charge $27 for a Grandma Pie. It makes it impossible for this to be our "regular" pizza place even though it's just down the road from us, which is unfortunate. read more

Solid suburban brick-oven pizza, no need to go all the way to New Brunswick for a fine Stromboli! Very little seating, the New Vernon (country mile) location is all about takeout. Small calzone was stuffed with ricotta cheese, perfectly baked, really two meals for about 10 bucks. The standard small Stromboli had plenty of pepperoni sausage and mutz, a nicely crispy crust. The red sauce for dipping the rolls was perfectly fine but needs a little more spice and maybe texture. Caesar salad had raw onions, dressing was forgettable. Great takeout for dining at home in this unpleasant quarantine time. read more

Small hole in the wall place that if you blink you wound drive right by. My parents were hungry after my mom saw the doctor so we bumped into this place. A diamond in the rough. Ordered eggplant with sauce and a salad. Very delicious... and their Parmesan cheese was fresh from the refrigerator, not that sprinkled stuff that sits in the tables. Mom got pizza. The crust was perfectly thin so you could taste the toppings on the pizza which was just sauce and fresh mozzarella. She was very happy with it. Left very satisfied. I was beginning to think I'd never find a pizzeria that I liked. This little place was a pleasant, unexpected surprise. read more

Hit or miss here. When the pizza is good it's really good. When the pizza is off it's off. Can take 1-1.5 hours for delivery. Happened twice. Eat in the restaurant I'd recommend. But hit or miss on delivery. read more

As usual our Friday night hang out served the best pizza !! They are so accommodating they will top pizza with anything you ask for. I love the Mozzarella and ricotta toppings! One of the most underrated spots around. This is a local go to for the people of Harding, Chatham and Mendham. Highly recommend the dinners but the pizza and sandwiches are top notch as well. Most importantly the ingredients are always fresh. read more

If you're looking for the best pizza in the area, look no further than Dominick's in Harding on Rt 202 (across from Market Tavern...another winner!) My wife and I only go to Dominick's these days for our pizza which is as close to the NY, thin crust pizza we grew up on! We've also had great pasta dishes and eggplant rollatini . We have had the opportunity, when the weather is good, to "dine in" and eat on the outdoor patio and also have taken out. One of our adult sons came for a visit from New Mexico. He had not come home to visit for about a year. He missed the NY area pizza which he says he took for granted when he was growing up here and wanted to eat "genuine" pizza (as opposed to the traditional franchised variety), so we took him to Dominick's. Pizza was excellent - very fresh ingredients and crust was perfectly cooked and not too thick and not thin. We also had the eggplant parmigiana side dish which was plentiful for a side dish and equally delicious. Restaurant premises were very clean, cozy and inviting for a casual meal. Service was excellent -- fast, courteous, and friendly. They have numerous other Italian dishes in the menu which we will try on another occasion. read more

Dominick's is a hidden gem. It's on The Country Mile, just north of Bernardsville, which is a very pleasant road. It's in a tastefully renovated building. As my office is down the street, I am one of the regulars. The pie makers are really nice guys. They are very friendly and make everyone feel at home. They are happy guys and love to talk about sports. I only order pizza, which is definitely above average in taste and freshness. I stick to the mushroom, Marguerita, or plain. There's usually a new type of pie each day. I recently had a white pie with eggplant and different cheeses - very delicious. It is worth stopping here for good fare. read more

Nasty take out food. The undercooked "Ragu Sauce" plain pizza was borderline tolerable. The mussels fra diavolo tasted (and felt in the mouth) like thrice frozen mussels and pasta with fine sand mixed into a non-spicy sauce. Dominick's has one of the best gluten-free crusts I've found in NJ!! It is baked in its own individual aluminum pie shell. The rest of my family enjoys the regular pies. Cheese is real, mushrooms are fresh. Dominick's is now our go-to take-out pizza place. read more
