shrimp fra Diavolo

I wanted to update the review on this place because even after the Covid pandemic they are still the best pizza place in the area. they still give you a large portion of food and at reasonable price. the veal Parm is so tender and melts in your mouth. I also had their shrimp fra Diavolo spicy with plenty of large shrimp, so good. I usually order their pizza delivered and it has always arrived on time and still piping hot. I can't forget the spaghetti with clam sauce loaded with clams and being in love to have two meals from it.

Cauliflower Pie

Wow. How did I not know about this pizzeria sooner. I googled cauliflower pizza nearby since I'm on keto. This place popped up. Deliver came super quick. Food was amazing and affordable. I'll be back!!

This is what the dough at the bottom of the slice looked like

The regular slices that we got from Dominick's were a disgusting gloppy embarrassment to pizza!! The slices were an oily mess of different looking cheeses on the same slice. Seasoning and no seasoning? The crust looked more like wonton wrappers except at the top, which we noticed because the undercooked/cooked cheese slid off of the pizza and onto the paper plate...the sauce tasted like jar sauce. We attempted to taste pieces of it, hopefully we don't get food poisoning. The only good thing, after we took a few bites - we threw it all in the garbage. Dominick's should feel embarrassed/ashamed to serve pizza like this!!! We will not return. This "pizza" was gross. I do not recommend.

Grandma Sicilian Broccoli Pinwheels

Ordered a Grandma Sicilian and a Broccoli Pinwheel took a bite and it tasted raw. Broke it apart and all the inside dough was uncooked. Had to throw it out. Don't recommend.

Grandma pie with pepperoni

Just an all Around great pizza place really, Ive gotten all types of pies and they never disappoint its always ready fast and taste fuxking delicious.

Ordered on a Monday afternoon Mozzarella sticks had water coming out of them. Not homemade straight out of the freezer bought from wholesalers . They were also hard. The fries soggy no salt or pepper could have at least added packets on the side. Chicken cold but also not homemade also bough from a wholesale. the only good thing was the sauces and fast delivery. Other than that don't advise to get delivery because of quality of food go inside and check what's fresh.

This is what I ordered!!

Best pizza in the Lindenhurst area. The pizzettes are great for trying multiple special pies.

** THE FOOD WAS GOOD. THE SERVICE WAS ABYSMAL **…read more This is a beautiful restaurant and I wish I could base this review on aesthetics alone. My family and I are still reeling from our experience here this week. The food here is very good. We all agreed. Unfortunately, we also agreed that the "service" was about the worst we can remember having anywhere. Our server was a male, perhaps mid 40s, light hair, little ponytail, not very tall. We did not get his name. Right from the beginning we noticed something seemed off about him. He was rushing, was clearly agitated, aggressive, and rudely interrupted us when we attempted to ask questions. Appetizer salads arrived at our table even before we were finished ordering our dinners (we still had menus) and when we asked him to *please* slow down, that we wanted to enjoy the dinner, he raised his voice and got visibly angry. We saw him walk away, throw up his hands and shake his head, all in plain view of us. His behavior continued throughout our meal and made the entire experience so unpleasant and uncomfortable. When he brought over a bowl of soup, he said, very loud and sarcastically, "There's a spoon there for ya!" Honestly, he seemed so worked up, I was worried he was going to dump the thing in my lap. Dude clearly has issues he brought to work with him. We also noticed this person openly coughing into his hands, rubbing his nose, and then serving food to another table. (We did mention this to another server as that is pretty disgusting.) We were celebrating a birthday and when we came in we asked the host at the door to please put a candle in whatever dessert we ordered. We provided a bag with a candle. Well, we ordered dessert, but the candle was MIA. Nothing, nada. When we left, they gave us back the bag, but the candle was missing. (!) By this point we weren't even surprised. (And they told us the candle had been in the dessert. It definitely wasn't) One star is for the food, the other is for the kind woman with the long dark hair who also tended to our table for the first hour or so. This is clearly a nice restaurant with a good reputation and good food, but sadly, our visit was terrible; a very bad experience and one we wish we could forget.

Absolute five star experience this Valentine's Day at Angelo's. Our new Valentine's tradition!…read more We dined here before the crowds picked up - at 5pm. We were seated in the back of the restaurant and enjoyed our space. Our waiter (wish I remembered his name) was extremely polite, attentive and great. We had complimentary champagne which was such a nice touch for Valentine's Day. Our bread, like last year, was delicious. More was brought out upon request and the next batch was sooo hot, soft and fresh. Our fried calamari was good but a little too soft. Could've used a little more crunch. My rigatoni Ala vodka was incredible. Filling but incredible. Had to take the leftovers home. My husband's dish (pappardelle) was amazing, as well. Last year when we ate here, I was pregnant with my daughter. We were so excited to have our daughter join us here this year that we had to take a picture in the same spot as last year's picture. I asked the owner who took our picture last year to take our picture again this year. She actually remembered us from last year AND where we sat! How cool is that?! When we paid, we were given Hershey kisses and off we went. Another amazing experience here at Angelo's. We love this place!

We had the spadini alla Romano as an app which was quite cheesy and lemony, as we love it to be. The veal sorrentina was so delish! It came out hot and tender. The veal chop parm was huge, crispy and tender. As a side note even the sautéed spinach was hot! The entrees come with a potato croquette and spinach. Really tasty In closing Sam came by several times to refill our wine (we bought a good bottle) but not he was not intrusive We will be back with friends !
