I wanted to update the review on this place because even after the Covid pandemic they are still the best pizza place in the area. they still give you a large portion of food and at reasonable price. the veal Parm is so tender and melts in your mouth. I also had their shrimp fra Diavolo spicy with plenty of large shrimp, so good. I usually order their pizza delivered and it has always arrived on time and still piping hot. I can't forget the spaghetti with clam sauce loaded with clams and being in love to have two meals from it. read more

The regular slices that we got from Dominick's were a disgusting gloppy embarrassment to pizza!! The slices were an oily mess of different looking cheeses on the same slice. Seasoning and no seasoning? The crust looked more like wonton wrappers except at the top, which we noticed because the undercooked/cooked cheese slid off of the pizza and onto the paper plate...the sauce tasted like jar sauce. We attempted to taste pieces of it, hopefully we don't get food poisoning. The only good thing, after we took a few bites - we threw it all in the garbage. Dominick's should feel embarrassed/ashamed to serve pizza like this!!! We will not return. This "pizza" was gross. I do not recommend. read more

I used Dominick's to cater my 40th birthday party. I was not disappointed! They delivered so I cannot speak for the restaurant but if it's anything like the food and delivery driver, it's perfect! I ordered 5 miscellaneous pies, garlic knots, and a salad. ((They made the salad special for me and it was HUGE! )) and the price wasn't crazy!! Everything was cooked perfectly, the pizza had the right amount of cheese, sauce, and toppings. Ordered on a Monday afternoon Mozzarella sticks had water coming out of them. Not homemade straight out of the freezer bought from wholesalers . They were also hard. The fries soggy no salt or pepper could have at least added packets on the side. Chicken cold but also not homemade also bough from a wholesale. the only good thing was the sauces and fast delivery. Other than that don't advise to get delivery because of quality of food go inside and check what's fresh. read more

Lots of MADONES for Dominick's pizza in lindenhurst. So many great parts, I'm gonna have to applaud them individually. Start with the atmosphere. You'd think this was an Olive Garden with good food, because when you're here you're family! Jesus (owner and best hair on 35th street) is so warm and welcoming I asked him to be the Godfather of my unborn but future child (taking applications for a new wife after the Rikos incident!) The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you want to keep coming back. I've used Domenick's for a plethora of events (birthdays, festivus, the day the eagles were eliminated from the NFL playoffs) and his hot food is more on point than Mark Wahlberg in the 2007 critically acclaimed film Shooter. Pinwheels and Rolls so big I could feed a third world country with a small box. Desserts must be delivered from Mars because they're out of this world!! Would give 6 stars if they let me. Highly recommend this pizza joint. Dave Portnoy would have to change his pants if he reviewed. read more

I have given this restaurant 4 different opportunities before writing a review! They get it wrong each and every time! It's unfortunate but I would not recommend having them deliver your food because they either mix up the order entirely or miss one or too item! Terrible I ordered through uber eats However they use THEIR own delivery people so I can't even blame uber! After speaking with the restaurant they were apologetic (like the last 3xs) And offered nothing free but resending my order that came an hour later Soo 2 hours waiting for food! Terrible I am trying to contact uber eats for a refund to NO AVAIL Soo I will never order from them again and I would not recommend it! We are on quarantine so the business is only open for take out and online orders that's how they are staying in business There is NO REASON FOR ANY ORDERS to be mixed up or wrong! read more

We have ordered twice from this Italian restaurant so far. Well we ordered delivery and both times- the food arrived early which was obviously great! Because we were hungry! Salad that comes with the dinner is free but it's also not the greatest. It's just lettuce and tomatoes if your lucky. Just basic iceberg lettuce. And dressing of your choice. The ravioli parm/ baked ravioli was good. The portions are good sizes. When ordering an entree like chicken Francese.. make sure you are specific with the sauce on the pasta that comes with it. I wasn't specific and I got marinara sauce on my pasta w chicken Francese. Weird Also the bread that comes with is like little mini hamburger slider buns- I would think they would come with garlic or more of a hard crust Italian bread. I mean we're in NY.... AMIRITE??? Overall, this is one of the best Italian places I've been to in a while. And most likely will be ordering again. read more

Im a sucker for a good slice . Pizza was on my mind so I decided to try out my local pizza shop . I stopped by Dominicks and ordered a few slices of pizza . Now you know the pizza is good when you have to catch the oil dripping from the fold with a napkin . I also ordered their version of pizza bites and some garlic bread with mozzarella. Everything was good except for the soda . Gentlemen if you're reading this , check the sodas in your cooler. My A&W 20 oz bottle was very flat . Other than that .... I will return ! read more

I ordered a few times from here. The food was ok, it's pizza. How could you mess that up? But the delivery man made so uncomfortable, I just threw my food away. Honestly, I started to think he might have spit in my food. He doesn't greet you when he delivers, one time he even shoved the box into my chest and slammed my door. But this last time was it! He delivered the food I spoke as usual he ignored me and just stood there staring in my face like an animal about to attack . I always tip, I always speak so I didn't understand the aggression or the ill will. He was behaving as if I did something to him in a past life! Very unprofessional and rude ! Absolutely amazing food coming out of here. The Chicken Entrees you can never go wrong with. Especially The Hannah Chicken and The Chicken Rollatini. Flavored and Spiced just right. All dishes are richly blessed with great tasting wine, herbs and cream where it's called for. I appreciate true natured cooking for the soul. No skimming on the goodness. I didn't want to do this but they just insulted me. I used to love this place and would go there with my son sometimes two days in a row. Sometimes we'd order from them 3 days in a row. About a month or so ago we ordered from them for the second day straight that week. My daughter wanted a grilled cheese since she had pizza the day before. They sent the grilled cheese using the end pieces of the loaf of bread to make her sandwich. I was so insulted. I didn't mind paying $8 for grilled cheese but I didn't expect them to send that. I wasn't going to feed that for my daughter so I fired up the griddle while everyone else was eating and made her a real grilled cheese. I called them because it bothered me so much. The man who answered apologized and put a note aside to give us credit. We ordered many times since but I never bothered them for the credit. Today we figured we'd order two plain pies with extra cheese. You have to order extra cheese with their pies because they put so little. However, to their credit they use 100% Gran'de Cheese, the best and most expensive pizzeria cheese available. I don't mind paying $4 extra just to have a normal portion because the cheese is that good. Well, the pizza came, one pie was delicious and the other was skimpy and dry because they didn't put the extra cheese. I already let them slide and never claimed the $8 credit for that insulting grilled cheese, I wasn't gonna let this go. I don't mind paying $4 for extra cheese, but it needs to be on the pizza if you charge me. We ordered through the Slice App. We let them know that this Pizzeria was one of the best but they made a mistake and forgot the extra cheese and would like to have credit for the $4, even if it was just a credit because we order from them at least twice a week anyway. 5 minutes later, Slice messages us back and states that the Pizzeria sent two extra cheese pies. This is the second time they insulted me! Insinuating that I would lie about extra cheese on the pie. They put so little cheese on their pies that you CAN NOT mistaken whether or not there's extra cheese. My kids and I ate the dry skimpy pie. Then when we opened the second pie it was obvious they either forgot one or delivered the other to someone else! We easily spend $100 a week on pizza. So they can keep their $4 and we'll order elsewhere. Also, I've posted pictures of the disgusting grilled cheese sandwich that they sent for my daughter to eat! read more

I had to reach out to grubhub to cancel it as neither I nor they could get through to them. Won't be ordering from them again. read more

Ordered from them tonight off slice. Wasnt feeling too hot and was feelings some Italian wedding soup. We ordered: A salad - decent portion but it's just iceberg lettuce really Pasta with meatballs - Absolutely terrible. Sauce and meatballs had no flavor, tasted like crushed tomatoes fresh out of the can with no seasoning whatsoever. This got thrown back in the pan to add basil, pepper, salt, etc. Italian Wedding Soup - Honestly one of the worst soups I've ever had. I'm not sensitive to salt nor do I have any health issues regarding salt, I season my food with it well, but I felt like I was legitimately just eating spoonfuls of salt. It was disgusting and I had to throw it out. Basically the reason I ordered and it was honestly horrible. The bread that the pasta and the soup came with was a tiny, extremely hard dinner roll. I was looking at reviews and it doesn't seem like they've got a decent review for the past 5-6 months. Wish we just decided to go with our usual spot but hey, live and learn. read more

Had the best meal on Easter EVER! The lamb chops-to DIE FOR! The pork loin-AMAZING!!! Both super succulent. Perfectly cooked asparagus and desserts were great too. Walked into Dominick's pizza with my fiancé to have lunch. As we walked in we were greeted by a miserable man behind the counter. We ignored that fact because the food looked great. I ordered a slice well done and he ordered a slice just waned up along with a few other items to stay. The nasty man yells it's done I asked him politely if he can cook it a little more he proceeded with an attitude. We took our food to go because of the mans attitude we will never go back there again!!!!! What a class act!!!!! read more

I have ordered from them a few times now, we usually get their family deal and it has been good, no complaints. I can't say it was the best I have ever had, but you definitely get quantity and quality for a good deal. I decided to write review today because of the excellent treatment I received. I usually order from place in WB but today and on a few other other occasions they were not able to make me a fresh ceasar slice (I don't like lettuce wilted from dressing sitting on it all day, sometimes they make me feel like I have to justify why I want it made fresh....). When I called of course I told them why I wanted slice w/ dsg on side and he states that's how we always make it, They didn't have ckn francese like I wanted but I ordered ckn parm and marsala specialty slices w/ fresh ceasar; came to $14.11, not bad. The food was good and I didn't feel like I got cheated. The cute thing was he told me "don't cheat on me" after I told him why I couldn't get it from my ex-boyfriend (WB pizza). Guess I have a new boyfriend ya'll! read more

They did have a young lady in the dining room but she said she was not a waitress, this is just my opinion but they should let her wait on tables when something like this comes up so she can get the experience to become a waitress. Food was delicious, we all had different chicken dishes and all of us loved what we had. Prices were very fair. Definitely will be going back soon. They also do a pasta night and a chicken night the was very reasonable.

I assumed the slice would be from a pie made earlier but the whole pie was terrible. It clearly was a pie that was left from the day. The crust was burnt, the bottom was blackened, the cheese congealed and completely dry. When I ordered I explained that I would rather wait for the food when I picked it up than have it sitting on top of the oven. They didn't even recognize the order. someone had to explain that the order was called in earlier. $200 later my family was very disappointed. Most of the leftovers were tossed. I will not order from them again.

Crust, sauce, cheese....everything was spot on! Having originally been raised in Astoria and Brooklyn, I've certainly had my share of very good pizzas, so, I feel pretty confident when I say this was on par with the rest! In addition, we also ordered some garlic knots (very tasty!) , a cheese calzone (it was HUGE!!!) and a side order of baked ziti (amazing!!! and, by the size of it, shouldn't even be considered a "side order"!) .....no complaints whatsoever!
