Haven't been here in ages, but I'm glad it's still around. Classic Italian was so tasty with the fresh baked bread. Tried the soup for the first time and the chicken noodle is one of the best I've ever had. The chicken is so tender and the broth is so flavorful. Perfect for a cold winter day. They now serve breakfast from 7 to 10 AM with some tasty menu options. Parking on the street is not great, but there is a parking lot to the left with plenty of spaces.

Enjoy the $18 slice of turkey! Feel like I got ripped off. This is not $18 worth of food, nor does this amount of turkey qualify as a turkey sandwich

First time trying this spot, live a town over, and had it delivered. I was pleasantly surprised. Would try more in future. Had: Arancini rice ball (good) Bomba Napoleon Dynamite (really good) Later on, had the Bomba (great)

Visited on a beautiful Saturday morning...plenty of parking in the lot just beside the building. As I entered, I was kind of surprised at how small the store is. I have seen pictures and I was thinking it was a bigger store. As I entered, I immediately saw the fresh paninis and fresh rolls. The staff was working behind the counter tending to and prepping different food. I ordered a chicken cutlet (plain) with caramelized onion and pickle. I was hoping they offered bbq sauce or ketchup but no go. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza, which looked awesome, as well. As I began to pay for order, I noticed there were a few cookies, canoll's and italian cookies for sale. I bought a chocolate chip and m&m cookie. The prices were very fair and the help was fantastic.....service with a smile! I was able to take a few pics! This place is worth a visit or a drive! I will be back!

Strong, solid, classic Italian lunch or dinner spot for takeout that won't have to beg you to come back for more. For the last 10 years, at least, Dominik has been standing as the classic go to Italian sandwich shop in Waltham I would argue. After visiting a nearby College campus, I stopped in this spot to order a freshly cut mozzarella and tomato Caprese sandwich, well cooked eggplant parmesan and a fountain soda. You'll find fresh rolls of bread being made across the countertop as an example of the fresh ingredients they use for preparing all of their foods in-house. During college, this restaurant was considered the best takeout spot for late night studying and it's great to see their doors still open many years later.

A diced tomato in the caprese panini

The people are nice. The service is fast. The price is high. The food quality is terrible. I ordered a caprese panini, and it was some decent bread, ok fresh mozzarella, and some gross woody diced tomatoes that immediately fell out of the sandwich. And that's it. You're seeing the extent of the basil. I didn't notice any oil.

Ordered Doms for an office lunch and everyone loved it. We had a variety of salads and sandwiches. The menu is on the pricier side for lunch but the food was really good. The Italian sub was good size and tasty. The online ordering makes things really easy to order ahead and not have to worry about waiting.

All I can say is 5 stars period. This place gave me such Italian vibes I felt like I was witawee in wome. The menu was full of paninis (yum), pastas (delicious), and a bunch of other stuffs that I'll have to try later. Immaculate vibes

Eggplant Parm Appetizer Small not what I asked for
Doggypatchable ..

Use love this place , sizes have gotten smaller , pizza is small , prices have gone up. Too many people working behind the counter, customer was trying to put her order in , no one was listening. Too confusing. Got eggplant parm very small almost a kids size , 10.99 if wants a regular size portion it would have been 24.99 . Unless there's a communication issue no seem to understand English or speak it .

Classic Italian, no cheese and extra hots

Enzina sits in a 19th century brick building that it shares with its sister bakery. It seats about 12 tables so reservations are highly recommended. We were greeted promptly by the manager who was genuinely friendly - warmth is not a trait shared by most Bostonians. We ordered a large sausage pizza. The crust is made fresh daily by Enzina's bakery while the sauce is made in-house. The sausage is the star here - made locally by a high street Italian butcher shop. The final product was a masterpiece of east coast pie - firm crust, properly sauced, and a compelling amount of the delicious Italian sausage. We alo ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese which was some of the best we have ever enjoyed. The sauce is made from veal, pork, and beef and only served on the day it is made (leftovers is given to a local food bank.) The house-made pasta was perfectly al dente. We would rate this Bolognese in our all-time Top Ten, which is saying a lot. Typical trattoria ambiance, prompt service, and delicious fare! Enzina is a must visit.

The food, which is really why you're reading, was very very good - we had perfect salmon, crispy and tasty chicken parm, and solid salads. BUT the meatballs were the star, they were so close to my mom's meatballs that I would probably lose in a taste test between the two. They are the protype that all meatballs should follow, flavorful, Italian-y, and you kept wanting to take another bite. If you do nothing else, get the meatballs and run. Aside from the 5 star meatballs, there were two misses: the garlic bread was basically just cheese (not my thing), and the marinara was too basic and too close to jar sauce. We had a really good meal here, and would go back again any time. You should go too.

This place opened at 5pm and we arrived at 5:04. Nice little quaint place. The minute we arrived we were greeted and asked if we had reservations, which of course we didn't. We were told we were good to sit if we could eat in an hour. Initially I was kind of annoyed at the way it was worded but again "hangry". The ambiance is nice. The chairs were a little hard to sit on which I'm made it easy to stick to a hour meal. The waitress was nice. Before we ordered 4 groups were also seated and the bar area had a few "I'm assuming regulars" by the warm conversation that were seated. After ordering our meals arrived in about 20min. I had the Linguini Nero which I believe was fresh homemade pasta. The sauce was very light but flavorful and the calamari, octopus and shrimp were all very fresh. Portion size was amazing for 28$ price point well worth it. My college student chose a safe choice with the chicken parmigiana. She said it was good. The sauce seemed a little light and again portion sizes were huge. So now onto Mr Hangry who ordered the Hanger Steak prepared Medium. Let's just say the presentation was everything. The cuts were perfect and it was super juicy and flavorful... also there were carrots that were super flavorful and perfectly prepared. Id skip the truffle fries as they were a little burnt and super dry. Maybe the Aoli sauce they offer would have helped. 45 min left and Desert came. I was already full but had to get my pumpkin season fix. The cheesecake wasn't too heavy, reminded me of a firm mousse. I decided to split this. I just with there was more graham cracker taste from the bottom but very delicious. I'm sure we finished at exactly 1 hour and when I looked around the place was almost full. Overall decently priced for 3 meals at 150$ with the amazing portion size, I'd say this is a good semi upscale bistro option. Just remember to make reservation's!

My mom passed away several years ago and she loved this place, so my bf and I decided to honor her by going to Chateau on Mother's Day. The service was attentive and the food was as I remembered (not the best authentic Italian, but still good). I got the chicken parm and the portion was generous. We had went there last year for her birthday and she ordered the same thing that she orders. She's come there with me at least three or four times in the last year and got the same thing there's actually a picture of one of her salads on my previous posts and I could actually post it again but there's really no point. You can see it if you want the salad she got yesterday. Had nothing like that. It was completely different. It just looked like a regular salad with little chunks of maybe a little bit of that stuff so we were confused. We thought she got the wrong thing. The waitress proceeded to tell us she's been working there for eight years. I've never seen her and maybe she has but the attitude wasn't the greatest and then she got us a manager who was so nice but she explained to us there's a new salad person and the whole restaurant chain is a whole has decided to toss these salads and regardless if you toss it or not, it had maybe a quarter of the ingredients it used to have yet it was the same price so it made no sense and we just took it because you know we just I was still she said it still taste good it wasn't. I didn't taste good. It was just everything about the interaction and so then we ordered coffee and I got the apple crisp which is their special and they have a big picture of it on the table and before she even let us get it she said oh just you know we don't have ice cream and it's like part of the whole apple crispy ice cream. I said that's fine. Bring it anyways it was soft mushy scolding, hot apples that were microwaved. There was nothing crispy. There was nothing in it it was one of the worst desserts I've ever had. It reminded me of like something. You'd feed someone in prison to be honest and I'm gonna go back to this place, but I'm definitely not gonna go very often and I don't know that I'm gonna necessarily want to tell people to go there and my friend had that same exact salad at the Franklin location where she's from a couple months ago and it was the way it always been so just beware things are not always as they seem there.

Stazione Di Federal is located in downtown Waltham near the T stop. After a long day in Cambridge we were ready for sustenance but what we discovered at Stazione Di Federal was more than just a refueling stop. Housed in an old residence that has been exquisitely restored, Stazione Di Federal features beautiful interior work including crown molding throughout and stately plaster window casing that creates a warm, comfortable ambiance. It also has a magnificent hardwood floor that shines like a mirror. The high ceiling, brick walls, and nicely spaced tables gave it a Tuscan trattoria feel that complements the menu. We were greeted warmly by the owner, John Brackett, who showed us to our table in the main dining room. Our server, Patty, provided attentive and informative service throughout our two hour excursion. Stazione Di Federal is a scratch kitchen featuring fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and boasts an impressive curated wine list with superb selections from the many regions of Italy. We started with an extra dry Hendricks Gibson up (Finally! A Gibson!) and an Alto Adige Tramin Sauvignon Blanc. Italy's South Tyrol deserves more credit for its exceptional whites and the Tramin more than did justice to the grape. Our appetizer was beef carpaccio composed of paper-thin NY strip, shaved pecorino, arugla, capers, and EVOO. This was served with an exceptional focaccia which, together, was an outstanding way to start our meal. Their menu is broad and enticing; it was rather difficult to decide from so many great choices but we ordered the daily special - lemon risotto with scallops and, at Patty's recommendation, the orecchiette. The risotto was perfectly cheesy with citrus highlights decorated with five seared scallops that were charred on the outside and melt-in-your mouth tender inside. Of note were the peas that dotted to risotto! The orecchiette was al dente and featured a tremendous Italian sausage that had incredible anise notes. We finished with the baklava cheesecake that was topped with a pistachio walnut crumble, crispy phyllo, and a drizzle of warm honey. As always we each paired that with a double shot espresso with a twist. Stazione Di Federal is a tribute to east coast Italian done well. Impeccable service and a warm, inviting interior made this a memorable experience!

No imbibing today, but she had the bar tender make me a fruity-ginger mocktail. Just ask, as the non-alcoholic selection amounts to two beers. Food is amazing. The clams casino and fritto misto apps were outstanding! The swordfish special ($49) was amazeballs. I don't even really like swordfish, but they managed to make it buttery soft and very lobsteresque in flavor. The baklava cheesecake is not to be missed--not overly sweet, and I'm on a mission to replicate it at home.
