If you're looking for an affordable event space, stop by and check this place out. It was a pleasure. I'd definitely have another event there and I highly recommend.

The General Manager, Mr. Hassan Mohammod, was extremely efficient, professional, and very supportive--he personally helped select the perfect menu, keeping in mind the season, time of day, and guests' preferences and taste. A special thanks to Mr. Bobby Broota, Assistant Operations Manager, who was incredibly helpful throughout the event. He has good eyes noticing small but important details and extended hands to resolve the problems quickly. I would say, their reservation charges is also very reasonable. I believe the management tailored their tariff such a way that it is affordable to most people and competitive matching with other market players. The bartenders and all staff members were friendly, attentive, and did a great job. Even the after-event service and wrap-up were handled flawlessly, making the entire experience truly outstanding. I have no slightest hesitation to wish furthero growth of this amazing waterfront venue.

From the beginning of the process, Scott was responsive and worked with our schedule for the tasting. We were able to make a selection from many dishes and after trying their food we were sold! Especially the NY strip steak with bleu cheese! We received so many compliments on the food and many of our guests even went to compliment the kitchen team themselves! The Balinese chicken turned out to be my favorite, but they were all amazing! They made way more than enough food for everyone and brought containers for our guest and us to take the leftovers home. We love not wasting food! With our budget, we were thinking we could only get a decent caterer, but we lucked out with LDV. They are without a doubt one of the best in the business! They catered to our needs and even made suggestions on how to reduce cost. In our case we brought our own drinks for their bartender to serve, which helped reduce cost. This turned out amazing and our bartender, Mark, helped make it a smooth and tipsy night for our guests! Last but not the least, their service was top-notch. They helped with the buffet so people there would be no crowd and made sure everyone got their food in a timely manner and even made plates for my husband and I so we didn't need to take the time! We were ecstatic with the service and it was one of the smoothest parts of the entire wedding. 5-stars all-around.

After throwing countless events with…read moreseveral sponsors, vendors bars and thousands of guests...it always comes down to who, how and when is the ice coming. Many times you can order ice delivery from your local grocery store...unfortunately in Harlem they don't seem to have too many galas going down or maybe I was hitting up the wrong people because I got a resounding round of "huh?" when calling up for ice delivery. So I went to the internetz. Queens Ice popped up and after a simple phone call and no credit card deposit I'd booked 500lbs of ice 3 days in advance. The rate seemed reasonable, though definitely not wholesale (I've seen cheaper) and since the load was divided into bundles of six 7lb ice bags I thought we'd be alright. Well, first they got lost and after 30 minutes of back and forth directions and cell phone calling the driver finally arrived just past the 2 hour window I'd given him. Once they unloaded I realized that I needed more ice...and then an hour later even more. Fortunately, they have a 24 hour ice emergency number so whenever you need him, ice is there. And more ice means more cocktails, more ice cream, more beer and more good times rolling...and that's just so darn cool.
