We've lived in Celebration for years, so when Dom Helio opened, we decided to try it. We weren't specifically looking for a rodizio-style experience, but at $39, it seemed like a good deal on paper--especially compared with the individual entrée prices. We thought it would be a fun way to sample the Brazilian-Italian menu. We were seated immediately even though the restaurant was busy. The space is attractive, almost all of the servers were very nice, and the staff were attentive about refilling our sodas. What followed was so strange and confusing that, despite some frustration, we mostly had to laugh. Before ordering, we asked how the rodizio worked--whether we should order the appetizers, pastas, gnocchi, risottos, and other dishes or wait for them to come around. We were told to order those items while the pizzas circulated. At least, that was our understanding. It never became clear because most of what we ordered never arrived. We asked about the missing items at least three times. Near the end, a waiter confirmed that we still wanted one appetizer. We said yes, but another 30 minutes passed and it still did not arrive. Two of our appetizers never came at all. The pizzas were pretty good, plentiful for most of the evening, and offered a lot of variety. The problem was that they became almost the entire meal. I joked that it felt unexpectedly like an elevated Cici's Pizza--not because the pizza was bad, but because pizza was the only part that operated consistently. Oddly, even the pizzas stopped circulating during the final 30 minutes. Had we known the rodizio would be primarily pizza, with the other dishes appearing only occasionally or not at all, we probably would have ordered entrées. The $39 price sounds like a good value in theory, but only if you receive the variety that seems to be included. This was especially problematic for one guest who does not eat meat. Many pizzas contained meat, and there did not seem to be a system for ensuring vegetarian options reached our table. We expected the appetizers, pastas, gnocchi, risottos, and other dishes to provide alternatives, but most never arrived or came around too infrequently to be realistic options. Some featured dishes appeared only once during the more than two hours we were there, in very small family-style portions for the entire dining room. Often, only one or two people at our table received a spoonful before the dish ran out, and then we never saw it again. The food seemed to come out on some type of two-hour rotation, with categories released in waves regardless of when tables were seated. If you arrived in the middle or missed a dish, you seemed to be out of luck. We stayed much longer than we wanted while waiting for our orders or hoping the rotation would reach us. It felt less like dinner and more like we had entered the rodizio halfway through an episode and missed the scene where the rules were explained. After waiting quite a while, we pushed again for the bean soup. Everyone at our table thought it had a slightly chemical taste, so we did not finish it. One waitress then basically scolded us for leaving it unfinished, which was unexpected and uncomfortable. Later, the same waitress asked whether we wanted an escondidinho, which none of us recognized. When we asked what it was, she started to make a hand gesture as though she would explain it, but then just said, "It's an escondidinho," and walked away in a huff. That left us knowing exactly as much as before we asked. After the soup exchange, we decided it was safer not to accept an unfamiliar dish and risk upsetting her again if we did not like it. Another waiter brought the escondidinho around in ramekins at the very end. We probably would have tried it earlier, but by then we were full from pizza, had been there more than two hours, and were trying to leave. Several times, we all looked at one another and laughed because it genuinely felt as though we were being pranked or had wandered into the Twilight Zone. We never knew whether to order something, wait for it, ask again, or accept that we had missed our chance. There is a lot of potential here. The restaurant is attractive, the pizzas were pretty good and varied, most of the staff were genuinely friendly, and our sodas never stayed empty for long. The main problem was that the rodizio did not seem to have a clear or consistently executed system. For an absurdist Twilight Zone dining experience, it was memorable in its own way and honestly pretty amusing. As a $39 rodizio, however, it was confusing and did not deliver the variety that made it seem like a good value. We left unsure whether we had received everything included and stayed much longer than intended waiting to find out. Based on our experience, we probably would not return for the rodizio in its current form. read more

We went here based on a you tuber going and showing us what it was all about. We did choose the roving food where they come by with samples of pizza, risotto and pasta. We wanted to do this first so if we enjoyed something we now know what to order as an entree when we go back. I will be getting risotto for sure. The staff were all super nice as you have multiple waiters coming by with different food offerings. The wine we got was crisp and cold and just perfect. The only downside for us is we were jammed into a small corner where there was another couple sitting. My husband could barely fit in and I was up against a wall so I had no room to move either. There was one other table of 3 people. It was only 5pm so it was not crowded at all. It started getting busy shortly after 6pm but next time don't sit people on top of each other. It's OK for a waiter to walk an additional 10 steps to a table that is further away. Chef came out twice and spent time at our table which is always a win for me. We will take the hour ride to go back but I will specify I don't want to sit into of 2 other tables while the rest of the restaurant remained open. I wish I took a photo of the floor so you could see what I mean by being stuffed in a corner vs the whole restaurant being open. We live and learn. read more

I've seen this place while running to Publix or UPS for errands and wondered if it was any good. I would see a lot of customers going in for dinner and there seemed to be a lot of cars parked near the restaurant, plus I'd see people waiting for tables to open up. I went in on Thursday night after work and was seated quickly at the bar with no wait. Staff were polite and professional getting the orders out and to tables in a timely manner. Also it seemed the whole staff weee bilingual in English and Spanish or some possibly Portuguese. (Great for those if English is not your first language and you prefer to speak one of the other two I mentioned.) I ordered off their regular menu versus the all-you-can-eat one for a set price. (As I knew I wanted to focus on their pizzas and possibly take home leftovers. If you do try the all-you-can-eat menu, they serve slice by slice for the pizzas as far as I could tell.) I ordered their 14" pepperoni pizza. Timing-wise, I believe it took about 15-20 minutes from the moment I was seated for my pizza to be served. There was a brief moment of confusion at first, as someone in the kitchen thought I placed my order to go and it came out in a box. I kindly explained I was dining in, and it was immediately transferred to a serving tray with a cloche. Pizza was pretty decent. Their pizza crust that holds the toppings is on the thinner side, so it was more of a softer pizza, rather than something with crunch or a bit of texture. I eventually tried their dessert pizza in the smaller size and asked for a half Dubai chocolate and half semi-sweet chocolate with strawberries. (They told me it was no extra charge to split the pizza into two different flavors.) Both dessert ones were very sweet - I was glad the strawberries helped to offset the sweetness of the chocolate, but overall, a bit too much for me. This is more of a pricier dining experience - dress code isn't fancy, but keep that in mind with the pricing when coming to eat here and not doing the all-you-can-eat menu. I would consider coming again to try another dish off their menu in the future. Regarding parking, it is in the same plaza as Publix, Celebration Brewing Company, and other businesses - it's not difficult to find a spot. But if you wish to park close, come before dinner time. read more

Excellent restaurant in Celebration. We had a Dom's Picanha steak and fettuccine chicken Alfredo. Both were delicious and excellent. Look at my pictures. The Picanha is a Brazilian steak cut, very flavorful, thin cut so order rare or medium rare, juicy and flavorful! Fettuccini was very good too. We made reservations for a large group of 12. The restaurant itself was nice and most of the servers were very nice as well. Chef came to the table before the food came out. The majority of us decided to go with the Rodizio experience. As other reviews mentioned we were confused about how it worked, especially when it came to the pasta. Being a large party seemed to work against us and the people closer to the kitchen seemed to get the food and it would run out before it got to the end of the table. It was mostly pizza. The pizza was good. Then they brought us one little bowl of fries and asked if we wanted more- yes we are a party of 12! 10 of us got the experience so we are expecting to try different foods. We asked for yucca fries 3x waited a really long time before they came out. They were good but had no sauce or anything. Someone asked about a dipping sauce and was offered salad dressing. Waters had to be requested to refilled and they wouldn't refill everyone's, just the people who asked. Risotto and steak were very salty. We asked for two pasta dishes and only one was brought out. The shrimp one was really good! After asked different waiters multiple times we got the other one. Pasta is brought out in these small bowls and 4 people for a small serving each before it was done. Pizza got brought out again and we let them know we were done with pizzas. One female waiter had a bit of an attitude. We tried to be nice but we felt like we were always waiting or asking for food and then the staff was not communicating with us or each other. The dessert pizzas were very good. The Nutella and pistachio and the banana white chocolate were delicious. We made the best of it and had a laugh. Overall I would not return. $140 spent, woke up thirsty from the sodium. read more

On Mother's Day they offered an all day rodizio so it was a perfect time to come here with my friend Ronnald M. We were on our way somewhere else but then my friend server Carlos messaged me they had rodizio so we changed out course and were lucky to have a table on their outdoor dog friendly patio! So happy that I could bring my little son on Mother's Day! We got servings as soon as we were seated. Everything was delicious especially the pizzas! The pepperoni, palm of hearts, bacon and 3 cheeses were some of the pizzas we tried. They had a large variety of pastas and gnocchi as well, shorizo etc. You would think you're full but the dessert pizzas start and oh boy I never was a fan but these are sooooo good! My absolute favorite was banana Nutella and it's miracle it fit in my belly after I had the Dubai chocolate, Dulce de ledge, pineapple, white chocolate strawberry and Nutella one as well (: The vibes are amazing as Carlos and other servers do such an amazing job with a smile. Arrived Sunday early evening with Open Table reservations. Hostess was nice and sat us immediately. However, they did not have Caipirinhas even though it's in the Menu (something about having open only 3 days ago and the liquor license). We ordered their specialty Gnocchi and their specialty Dom Picanha. Place seems very "clubby" with the Brazilian community... Open airy space with high ceilings and open kitchen. Awesome people, wonderful flavors. The team is very engaging and friendly. The Head Chef, Felipe came around, table service was good and Helio is there himself and available. The Chef's Gnocchi's are truly spectacular!!! The Picanha not much; great flavors but very tough; need to improve Picanha steak quality (very chewy); although has a good price. Again, they just opened and did not have Caipirinhas!! So sad. But we will be back for Caipirinhas and perhaps a better Picanha. They also have an all-you-can eat pizza and pasta for a great price. We live in Celebration, so we were excited to try this new restaurant. Our first impression was very positive. The restaurant is beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere and attractive design. We were seated promptly, and our friends were already at the table waiting for us. Unfortunately, that's where the experience started to go downhill. My husband ordered a glass of wine, and several of us chose the $39 all-you-can-eat special, which was advertised as including soup, appetizers, risotto, pasta, pizza, and dessert. The problem was that the only thing that was brought to our table consistently was pizza. We had to repeatedly ask for the risotto and the pasta, and we never received the soup, appetizers, or any of the meat dishes that were supposed to be included. It felt less like an all-you-can-eat experience and more like an endless supply of pizza. Our server rarely came back to check on our table, especially after realizing that only half of us had ordered the all-you-can-eat option. We constantly had to flag someone down to request items that should have been brought automatically. Another disappointment came when ordering wine. We we t to order a glass of wine for someone else at the table and the server said if your going to have four glasses of the same wine, the server suggested buying a bottle because it would be less expensive. I specifically asked whether the bottle cost the same or less than four individual glasses, and he assured me it did. When the bill arrived, the bottle was actually $24 more than ordering four glasses separately. That was very frustrating because we asked specifically before ordering. The restaurant also became very uncomfortable because the front door was left open for long periods so the staff could more easily serve the outdoor patio. In the middle of a Florida summer, the dining room became hot and humid, making the meal much less enjoyable. The pizza was outstanding--I would absolutely give them credit for that. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and they've done a wonderful job with the design and atmosphere. However, the service needs significant improvement. If you're going to advertise an all-you-can-eat experience similar to a Brazilian steakhouse, staff should continually bring all of the advertised items--not just pizza--and they should know which guests at each table are participating. Guests shouldn't have to keep asking for the food that's included. Sadly, despite the beautiful restaurant and excellent pizza, I would not recommend dining here based on our experience. We stumbled on this restaurant as we are in the area on vacation. What a gem! The staff is very friendly and humble. The chef stopped by to make sure we are happy with our food. The ambience is more upscale but there are 3 TVs so you can watch sports like the World Cup. But what stands out here is the flavor of the food. Everyone loved their meals. We got a pizza, the chicken Parmesan and the spaghetti Di mare. The flavors were excellent. I wish I tried the Rodizio All You Can Eat option but maybe next time! read more

We heard so much hype about this place that my husband and I wanted to try it out. I get it's a " Brazilian-Italian" food. But we were not impressed at all. I had my two kids with me and they sat us in the middle of the restaurant (I wanted a corner bc I had the car seat with me for the baby) but it is what it is. I had to ask the host twice for a highchair. She did not take a chair away or anything so we just left it literally in the middle.. our waiter didn't even move it he just worked around it.. it probably took them an hour till I assume was the manager to take it away. So we were uncomfortable for the first few hour when we got seated. Our server was just OK. Not very welcoming he didn't go over the menu or any specials. Didn't even mention the all you care to eat part of the menu. I saw a lot of people get better service than us. Idk if it was bc we weren't Brazilian but we felt very left out like everyone was getting a special treatment than us. We order drinks but I know it wasn't the servers fault but apparently they didn't have their "liquor" license so that was a bust. My husband order the steak with fries & rice and I thought it was good but the whole steak was fatty and it was a waste. I got the pizza with meat & onions and it was good. But the price of everything it wasn't worth it.. I wish I would give it another try but we felt so left out, uncomfortable. read more
