Ambiance is nice. Food was very pricey but we really enjoyed our meals and the flavors were all there. Our server could have been better, he did not really explain anything or ask if we had any questions, he did not come and check on us, he did not offer extra napkins when the meal finally arrived until we called for some extra napkins. The other downside was they automatically add gratuity to your check without letting you know until it's time to pay your bill. It was an 18% auto gratuity. Not a bad deal, but it would've been nice for us who were a party of two to be told that gratuity is automatically added onto the check. I did notice other higher end items on the menu like lamb chops and risotto that I would love to try one day maybe I'll come back and try again being that I now know 18% gratuity will be auto added onto my check. read more

Piefection is anything but perfection. Pizza comes out to your table looking amazing but lacks flavor, sauce and cheese. A cheesy cheesewiz sauce is put on top for decoration I guess, because it's not flavorful. We ordered the steak Pizza that was tiny bits of tough meat. When you spend $30 for a pie, you expect awesomeness but we left wondering why we didn't just go to Little Caesars for a $6 and a much tastier Pizza at that. Oh and check on the happy hour cuz apparently it's not available on certain days. read more

I recently visited Piefection with my family. We had the Greek, pepperoni, and guava & cheese slice. The Greek was really good how all the flavors come together. I love the combo of feta, onions, and tomato's. They have a solid pepperoni slice. The pepperoni was a little salty but the slice is cohesive the flavor blends well collectively. The crust flavor blended well. The Romeo & Juliet (Guava & Cheese) is the star pizza. It's an interesting combo but it works. My grandparents discovered it and it's something we eat as a family. The service was okay. We got our first pizza in a decent time. The Romeo & Juliet took longer. Our waiter didn't really check up on us. My grandma had to ask another waiter about our order. The guy at the front had a lot of energy which I liked so it was kind've a bummer. The atmosphere is nice and spacious. They a lot of seating available. They also have a bar. This is not your typical pizza joint. It has a lot of class and ambiance. I could not believe the negative reviews about service because I had amazing service from all 3-4 people I interacted with. From the host, the the personable server, to the incredible man who did table side derive for the Grana Padano fettuccine. The presentation and personality of the server was amazing! He even spoke 3 languages. My guest only spoke Spanish and he felt included since the entire process of making the dish table side was catered to him in Spanish. The bottled wine service was perfect with the presentation and uncorking. And empty plates were taken away promptly. I had AMAZING service! And I am difficult to please, being in the service industry my whole life, myself. My expectations are very high and not one person disappointed! Now to the food! Yes, this is a Brazilian pizza place, but table side pasta in a huge cheese wheel and many amazing looking risottos on the menu really elevated this place. I had the grana Padano with the most tender cuts of filet mignon. I also had a traditional Brazilian pizza with shredded chicken, ham, corn, hearts of palm, and of course, the can't miss Catupidi cheese. I am Italian, and again, a difficult person to please. Trust me when I say....Brazilians do Italian RIGHT! This was my experience when traveling to São Paulo, as well as at PieFection. Packed local spot as we wanted to try something new. The place was busy inside and out starting at 8 but we got there early and go in quick. It had great decor with brick walls, wine bottles and plants and felt comfortable and even a little upscale. Service was slow but worth the wait and I imagine it was due to how busy it was. Bruschettas were small but packed with the veggies and the pizza was unique and so tasty. It looks thick but it's very thing, they laid cheese on top of the toppings and that gave it a great taste. My wife and I (Non-Hispanic) came in on a busy night and the host asked if we were ok with sitting at the bar and we said yes. Another couple (Hispanic) walked in behind us and the host decided to sit them first at the bar which was very odd when we were there first. We ended up sitting right next to them anyway. Ordered food and a bottle of wine, Bruna (the server) barely checked up on us, never refilled my water, and didn't provided any silverware until on request. When the check came, there was a 20% auto-gratuity on there. It was only two of us so I asked why was there an auto-grat on the check. This restaurant is in the fresh market plaza close to the loop. Husband wants a pizza and we decided to come here. It was my family of four and once we got there. It was a half an hour wait but I think we only waited like 15 minutes. It's a very busy restaurant. Lots of families in and out. It's a nice, spacious restaurant, with a really nice atmosphere. It was loud, music was playing and the place was pretty fun. This is a Brazilian type of pizza spot, and I was excited to try something new. Our server took our orders pretty promptly. We got the five cheese, small pizza, a buffalo chicken pizza, a pepperoni, pizza, and truffle fries along with a Caesar salad and hot garlic teriyaki wings. My salad and wings come out first. The salad was really delicious and crunchy. My wings were very good too. The only thing about them is that there was no heat and it's supposed to be spicy. The rest of the family's Pizza came out before we realized we never got our fries. I guess the order number went in but when we did get the fries, they were not truffle. The buffalo pizza didn't taste like it had one bit of buffalo sauce on it. The five cheese pizza was pretty good and very cheesy. The pepperoni pizza was OK. The food was OK. Kind of lacking in any kind of special flavor or zing. I have to say that I really like the wings the best of all. What was really bad though, was the service. The server did not come back to check on us at all. We had to literally wave her down for some water and some ketchup. After that she still didn't come back. Literally every server were standing around together just chatting. We kept trying to get somebody's attention like homeless folks trying to catch someone's eye for a dollar. They have delicious pizza. We always order the gluten friendly, because it is crispier and taste like "pão de queijo" (cheese rolls). The flavors that we love are: diplomata, 5 cheeses, Paraíba, Maria bonita. The Caesar salad for the family is a good portion. The raclete is a nice ideia, but nothing wow. Calzone is really good. I didn't like the churros because the dulce the leche is not good, but the whole idea, with ice cream, is good. Unfortunately they don't have wings anymore. Take a walk on the "wonderful side." I loved the previous pizza restaurant that was in this location. But you know what they say when one door closes another one opens. In this case Piefection kicked it open. This decor has a wonderful club vibe and since this is 2020 they were social distancing the tables and wearing masks. I like that there are plenty of booths and club chairs as well as tables and premium outdoor seating. The restaurant is very neat and clean. There seems to be about 40 or 50 selections of pizza. The focus is Brazilian pizza but there are so many wonderful choices. The table next to mine had driven from Tampa and recommended the dessert or sweet pizza. The dessert pizza here is sooo worth driving for. I had the calabresa catupiry for a savory pizza and then half brigadeiro strawberry, half brigadeiro banana. Both of the pizza choices were excellent. Second visit was not as good. They had a Monday grand opening special where you bought a pizza, got a pizza. I got two to go. The only sweet choice was the guava cheese and you had to buy large size on both which is a lot for two people. So I ordered a ham and cheese. When I got home I discovered there was no tomato sauce. It was like a giant ham and cheese sandwich. The guava pizza was super sweet. If you gave this to kids you would have to peel them off the walls. To salvage the pizza I tried to make a deconstructed Monte Christo sandwich by putting a slice of each pizza together like a sandwich. Better but not as good as my first visit. My recommendations would be to select a pizza with the catupiry cheese and calabresa sausage. The brigadeiro chocolate either strawberry or banana (half n half) is a winner. If you're craving pizza, but want something a little different check out PieFection! My friends were so excited to bring me here so I had high expectations. The staff was super friendly, and answered all the questions we had about the menu. For dinner entrees we collectively ordered a garlic and olive oil pizza and the fettuccine filet mignon bites. The pizza was super delicious and a burst of garlic! I could have done the garlic not as browned but my friend absolutely loved it that way. Preferences! The pasta was not for us. The gorgonzola is way too overpowering. For dessert we couldn't choose, so we decided to get one each. I was a little hesitant on the sweet pizzas (I know cheese and chocolate go well together but something was feeling off haha), so I decided to try their lava cake. One of my friends also ordered the lava cake, but the adventurous one ordered the brigadeiro strawberry pizza. The lava cakes were great if not a bit small. We all tried some of the pizza in the end and it was really delicious and not too sweet. The flavors meld well and it's worth a re-order. My first impression coming in the door was a bit disconcerting. The place is huge, and they were 9 young servers armed with tablets, all standing around doing nothing and looking bored. On a weekday evening around 7 pm I counted only 6 diners, including me. I was seated promptly and my order came very quickly. The pizza is very good. South American style, lots of muzzarella cheese and oil. Some people may be put off by the oil. My only complaint might be that you only get one single puny paper napkin until you ask for more. It's a little pricey but for the quality of the food, it is fair. By the time I was leaving two large groups were coming in, and a live saxophone player was getting ready to perform, so maybe it fills up later on the evening. The staff was super friendly and was really busy for a Sunday night. They had live piano music when I visited making it seem more than a regular pizza place. The price can be a little expensive even for a small pizza size, we ordered 3 small ones to try out their Brazilian cheese (Catupiry), but they were filling especially the ones with the Catupiry. The place was cute but the food wasn't great. The chicken and meat in our pizzas were unseasoned and the pizzas were just so bland. It's also pretty pricey for the size. The 10in personal sized pizzas were about $20 and up. We absolutely love pizza, especially white pizzas so we were very excited but it honestly was very disappointing. We were also charged $2 each on our tab for a cover charge. Speaking only about customer service as I wasn't lucky enough to try their delicious looking pizzas. We called a few minutes before arriving to ensure they had availability, we made it there 3 minutes later and 2 other groups arrived right in front of us, one was 3 people the second one was 5 people we all stayed in line while they asked someone in the kitchen area where to sit the groups, plenty tables open but because of Social distancing (I am assuming) they had to figure out how to move tables around. A good 15 min went by before someone sat us. Up until that point we understood it's a Saturday at 6pm but unfortunately after waiting a considerable amount of time at our table my husband and I decided to leave. We just assumed if no one came to our table to even acknowledge us after being sat a good 10 minutes after that the service would probably be equally slow. Now, I can't speak for the food, it may as well be the best pizza in the universe but I can assure you we won't return to this establishment anytime soon. I hope they can figure out the customer Service portion of the business as that's most important. All it took for us to have stayed was some quick acknowledgment but after waiting in line to then be sat and have to wait for someone to come by that long it was just rude. They just opened this week. We were absolutely blown away by the friendly customer service. Everyone went above and beyond to make our first visit here special. We were even given a free "Amore" signature pizza (Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, blue cheese, caramelized onions, arugula and truffled olive oil) by the manager. Would have never thought of ordering this pizza off the menu but it turned out to be a huge hit with our entire group. Will definitely be asking the staff for more pizza tips on future visits instead of just going with the same old "safe" topping. The have a large selection of appetizers, salads and calzones as well besides the pizzas. They even offer chicken wings (fried) with multiple sauce selections. We had the hot Buffalo wings and the Mediterranean salad. Both were very good and made our "have again" list. The only downside is that they still did not have beer and wine available. They are working to quickly work out this grand opening related wrinkle. Bottom line is that the pizza is fantastic and the customer service is just as great. I think our group has found a new place to dine at on a regular basis. Should be 5 stars once the beverage service is worked out. So glad to have such a great new option added in this area of town. 2nd time around, customer service wasn't as good. Employees were not as friendly. Prices went up, they charged a $9 up charge for vegan cheese which wasn't charged the first time. Which makes a $25 pizza $34 which I believe is ridiculously expensive. Was also changed full price $14.99 for a plate of pasta which we took out the chicken and bacon. The atmosphere and presentation of this establishment is nice. Unfortunately upon entering, there was an issue with my pickup order. This business was listed on DoorDash for delivery and pickup. I was charged for the order and it was said to be processing. Once I arrived, I was told that the order never arrived in the system and that they haven't updated their establishment on DoorDash. No big deal, I still wanted to try their pizza as their menu looked perfect for a cheat meal. Prices are high ranging from $15 for a personal pizza to $25 for a large 16" pizza. I expected quality food and ingredients at such an exorbitant price so we were told that we can place a new order and will receive a text when it was ready. I ordered a medium (6 slice) caprese catupiry pizza and a small (4 slice) tropicalia dessert pizza. Totaling in $36. Upon arriving home the presentation left more to be desired. The taste of the pizza detracted even more from the presentation. Instead we were met with super salty, soggy pizza. The dessert pizza was ok but was $13 for a personal pan size pizza. So not worth it in my opinion. However the customer service at this establishment was phenomenal. The manager and cashier behind the counter were helpful in the situation but the taste and satisfaction just ain't there. read more

Parking is very easy to find and they sat us quickly we ordered a medium pizza and for two it was extremely filling. They fill it up with all the toppings and lots of cheese. The restaurant is beautiful inside love the atmosphere, they had live entertainment playing and the music although they sang in Portuguese it was still very pleasing. We saw much on the menu that was delicious and we will be returning to try more items. The pizza is a bizarre cross between doughy American crust combined with an excessive amount of Brazilian style toppings. To top it all off the service is glacially slow. The experience might have been better had we come during the week, but the food would still leave a lot to be desired. $35 for a medium pizza, we ate one slice each and asked for the check, no box needed.
